    Sangria

One of my favorite spots for the last 20+ years I have yet to be disappointed. Located in a small business center area, there is plenty of parking. You have your choice of Italian or Mexican flavors here, and a few that cross over both genres. This evening we had the chili verde tortellini, lemon tortellini and cheese ravioli with pesto sauce. The chili verde and lemon tortellini were both spot on with fresh tasting tortellini and excellent flavor. The cheese ravioli were also good but note the pesto sauce is a little rich. We tried the sangrias this time, and it was okay, I prefer mine with a carbonated beverage added to it however which this did not have. Service was excellent and the place has a nice vibe indoors. Todo remains on my list of favorite spots to go. Expect to spend about 20-30 per person.

It's been a while since we last ate here, and we're going to make sure that changes, as they're such as delicious as we remembered from the first time! The ambiance is honestly one of the more unique in Sacramento. See if you can peek the painting on the wall that shows a "dead" version of the interior! The food is ranges from classic Mexican, to full fusion Mexican-Italian, and it's so good that it makes me wonder why there aren't more restaurants like this out there. the mole was rich and filling, and the cilantro chicken spaghetti was like a Mexican pesto. The deviled eggs weren't actually deviled, which was odd, but the toppings on them were still incredible. Drinks were tasty, with the best Pisco Sour I've had in Sac! This really is the perfect little date night spot for some great vibes and unique fusion dishes!

A large group of us went there tonight to celebrate a birthday. They were packed. The service was slow but very friendly. I ordered the white sangria, and it was so fruity and yummy. We started with the mozzarella sticks, which had a great cheese pull. My husband had the salsa verde pizza. He really enjoyed it, and so had a couple bites and thought it was delicious. I ordered the shrimp and crab raviolis, and it was a sensational plate of food. Not very spicy but a lot of nice flavor. I would have liked to lick the plate if it wasn't socially unacceptable. My daughter had the Alfredo pasta, and I must admit that this was not a great plate of food. It was really bland. But aside from that, I am anxious to return and try some of the other tasty sounding items on the menu.

Came here to say on a Saturday night to celebrate a friend's birthday dinner. I came with a party of ten, however we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. The service was excellent from the moment we sat down, waiting for food to the end. I asked the server what wine would pair well with the Paella and the server suggested a great glass of red wine which was perfect. This is an interesting concept of Mexican Italian Fusion food. But I can taste it. The Paella is a Spanish Dish and with the carnitas and shrimp I can taste the Mexican touch on it. Overall great food and experience. I especially love the atmosphere! Would be back and would highly recommend.

With high ratings on Yelp and other platforms, I was expecting a lot from Todo Un Poco. Unfortunately, a few things fell short of my expectations, but we still had a nice dinner out with friends. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside. It's a little dim but vibrant at the same time featuring colorful murals, red walls, and Dia de Los Muertos-themed decor. I loved it. We walked in and were greeted by a few different staff hurriedly walking by to and from the dining room to the kitchen, some stating, "we'll be right with you." We were waiting for our friends to arrive, so no big deal that we waited for about 10 minutes, but I got the impression that the staff were a little confused on who was going to seat us and where. Our server was very sweet and polite though. Timing of food was a little off. The red sangria was wonderful, just sweet enough, good alcohol content, and nice fruit flavor. To start our meal we ordered the queso fundido and the clams chorizo. They arrived at different times. The cheese dip was super cheesy, like a never-ending cheese pull. It was good but hard to eat because of that cheese pull! Our server brought a bowl of chips and a plate of salsa, beans, and little tortillas. A plate! They really need to put the salsa and beans in their own little ramekins. That whole dish was awkwardly presented, making it awkward to share with the table. The clams chorizo was good with a unique presentation. They put a large deep fried flour tortilla over the bowl that you could break apart and eat with the dish. I love me a deep fried flour tortilla, so I ate it by itself, but the clams chorizo had a delicious marinara type sauce and would've been better served with some crusty bread. For our mains, I ordered the chicken cilantro spaghetti and added shrimp and hubby ordered the Italian lasagna. Seemed like a small portion for the lasagna but husband said it was good. I was a little disappointed with my spaghetti. I expected more flavor, and I think if they used grilled chicken (and shrimp) instead of shredded chicken(?), it would elevate this signature entree. Also, freshly grated parmesan would be much appreciated for the Italian dishes. Our friends ordered the Mexican lasagna and the shrimp and steak fajitas. Like the Italian lasgana, it seemed like a small portion but they enjoyed it. The fajitas weren't presented in an appetizing way. There was no sizzle, no charred aromas wafting. My friend barely ate any of it, and when our concerned server kept asking if it was ok, she politely said yes. We got talked into sharing the signature house dessert, which was banana bread with fried banana and ice cream on top. That was pretty tasty. Overall, the atmosphere is fun with a diverse menu. There were just a few misses with the food on this visit, with no standouts. A solid 3 stars.

Garlic Braids & Tostada Chicken Salad

We had a pleasant dinner at Todo un poco! The portions are HUGE here. Ordered the garlic braids as an appetizer and we received a LARGE stack of heavenly delicious bread to dip in marinara and ranch. We were surprised in a good way from the generous portion, and were shocked again by the large portion when the tostada salad came out. We were wide-eyed staring at the tostada salad. Pretty sure I said "holy shit that thing is huge" and usually that phrase is followed by a good time, which the salad ending up being very good. The tostada that the salad lays on is larger than my face, I can't say that about most tostadas that I've met. The next entree was chicken flautas and the food was plenty and had good flavors but the rice that came with the flautas had a bit of a bite/crunch, I think it was a tad undercooked but it was still edible. I generally would have liked the rice to be a bit fluffier and cooked a bit more but may have just been an off batch. For drinks, I first ordered a Paloma but the drink was very flat. There were no bubbles/carbonation which I thought was a bit odd for a Paloma so I ended up ordering another drink (a Margarita) and the Margarita was served in a big goblet and was pretty good. We left very full and with leftovers, and would come again. There were a few minor things that could have been improved with the rice and the Paloma drink, but overall the staff and service were very friendly.

We ended up trying this spot out of convenience. We were heading back to the Bay Area famished and we wanted something to hold us over. We walked in and the immediately we noticed the red walls decorated with vibrant colors and art! Reminders Dia de Los Muertos are all over. We walked up to the bar and asked to place a to go order. The gentleman came from behind the counter and showed us a menu. We told him we were driving and he since I was the passenger he suggested the Mexican lasagna for me. My husband wanted the adobo calzone both dishes were savory and flavorful. We placed our order and within 15 minutes our food was ready. The staff were attentive and when they packed our dinners they supplied plenty of napkins, silverware and sauces to accompany our entrees. I was extremely pleased with the service and the robust flavors in our meals (they aren't skimpy). If you are in the Elk Grove area, you want to try a Mexican/Italian fusion spot and you are in the mood for being spoiled this is the perfect place.

Great service and super friendly staff! I had this restaurant bookmarked for the longest time and I finally got to try this restaurant with my family. Huge portions and extensive menu that offers both Italian and Mexican food! We ordered for family style: Medium Chile verde pizza, pasta Jalisco, steak fajitas, crab ravioli, pozole, and churros with ice cream. Out of everything ordered, the crab ravioli (specials) and the churros were my favorite as there were very flavorful! The other items were a bit bland but not bad at all, I was just expecting an explosion of flavor in my mouth and I didn't quite get that. The server was so kind to give us 2 baskets of complimentary garlic bread and it was so good when dipped in the crab ravioli sauce! Overall, this is a perfect place to go on a date night as the ambiance is nice! I would give this restaurant another try as the enchilada looks good and the chicken mole is calling my name! :)

We chose this restaurant for our group's monthly dinners. My first time to eat here and it did not disappoint. I ordered Steak and Pesto Torta and it was very delectable. The pesto is not overpowering. It was perfect! The owners (acted as servers as well) are very accommodating and attentive. Bathroom is clean w/ multi stalls. I would come back here again!

I can't think of enough nice things to say about this place. I chose them for my graduation dinner with my family and friends because of what looked to be lovely atmosphere and good food, what I did when I got there was a restaurant that reminded me of my many loved ones from Mexico, staff that was friendly and welcoming, and an owner/chef who made me feel like I was visiting someone's home for a fiesta. She created a menu for my party and we were constantly surprised and overjoyed with all the food. In particular I loved the chicken in peri peri sauce and the Churros we finished the meal with. Maria puts love and attention into every detail and knowing that she also holds minimizing food waste close to her heart made this an even lovelier experience. We'll be back for sure and many of my guests are already planning anniversaries there.

There were plenty parking when I arrived. Upon arrival... Pros 1) restaurant looked cleaned. Tables, chairs, plates, utensils, cups all lined cleaned. 2) their menu is short and simple. 3) food portions are large. We ordered 3 dishes and did family style. We still had left over. Foods tasted great!!!! All of them. The lamb was soft and easy to eat. Crab Ravioli was delicious. I could see the crab in it and taste the crab. 4) water tasted good. No funky or metal taste to it. They leave a jar on your table so you can refill. 5) ambiance was quiet. It was easy for us to chat and catch up. We could hear each other. 6) waitress was so nice and professional. 7) Cons 1) tiramisu to me was on the very sweet side. It was good. But too sweet for me. I like it more if there were more coffee taste to it vs too sweet. 2) Conclusion I really liked this restaurant. I'd go here again. The portions sizes are large and shareable. Foods are delicious. The staff are so nice. There's plenty of parking. And plenty of stores around the area to go shop too.

I would have left a lower star review, but because this seems like a mom pop shop, I don't want to hurt the ratings too badly. However, I will leave my honest review on the experience below. I came here on a Tuesday evening at 4:30pm for a business dinner meeting with a director of a company, and we were literally the only ones in the restaurant. We were limited on time and planned to chat for only an hour until 5:30 due to time constraints, but after greeting me and taking our drink orders, our server never came back to take our orders or check in on us. We were literally the only ones in the restaurant, and there was no one around, not even a worker. It wasn't until 4:55pm when we saw someone folding napkins by us and ignoring us that we finally asked him kindly if we could order, and he finally went to grab our waitress. I really wanted to ask more about recommendations since I didn't know what to order, and I usually will ask my servers at various restaurants for their recommendations, but since we were so rushed on time and I didn't want to hold us back, I just ordered a linguine prawns and minestrone soup. The pasta wasn't bad but wasn't my favorite, and after I looked at yelp reviews, I wish I had ordered a different dish like their recommended lasagna, but I just had to order rashly since we were all rushing. I did really enjoy my minestrone soup though! On the positive side, after we mentioned he had to leave in 20 mins, they rushed out the food quickly, so I appreciate that. Additionally, the owner and waitress do seem like really sweet people, so I feel sad that I have to write this review. However it really was disappointing that as the only customers in the restaurant, we had to wait over 20 mins to just get our orders taken, and that was only when we asked another person to find our waitress. I was also embarrassed because I had made the recommendation to eat at this restaurant based on hearing good things, and the guy I ate with is used to dining at many different restaurants of various $$$$. I had to apologize for my recommendation since this was both our first times at this restaurant, and I didn't expect this experience at all. The prices at this restaurant aren't cheap either, so we'll see if I come back or not. On the bright side, there is easy parking. Lol.

My wife and I went for valentines dinner here, and we were both blown away with every dish both in taste and preparation, one of the few places I would say serves almost too much food. The complimentary bread was light and fluffy and was more than just some lame bread. Our apps were the bruschetta and the fried ravioli. The bruschetta comes out on fresh toasted bread, just enough to give it a crunch but still with a soft center- the tomatoes tasted fresh and there is also some toasted cheese on the bottom and some garlic on top, definitely sets the bar for a good bruschetta. The fried ravioli were huge and completely filled with cheese, the fry was perfectly crispy and every bite was better than the last- the highlight though might have been the marinara it came with, which honestly might have been one of the best marinaras I've had at a restaurant, just super, super flavorful. Apps definitely get a 5/5 For our entrees I got the chicken parm and she got the spaghetti. I've said before in my reviews that I'm a bit of a protein snob and I love my extra protein, but without even asking the protein on each dish was more than enough, and the dishes themselves were enormous. My chicken was juicy, crispy, and super well seasoned. Her spaghetti has so much sausage in it, and it was so good- even the noodles themselves had a handmade bite to them. Just a fantastic 5/5 experience for both dishes. My only warning is to be careful of the orange drizzle, it's very spicy! Our service was both fun and polite, I unfortunately did not remember our servers name but he made it fun and helped answer all of our questions. My husband & I live in the Monterey area, but our elderly moms live in Galt & Pioneer. So, with busy lives we decided to try & give them a Mother's Day they'd really like. I was searching up restaurants that were doing Mother's Day events in their area. I didn't want to do a buffet or be in a place that was going to be so packed no one could hear each other. Tough challenge. But I found the Mother's Day brunch event at the Brick House, so decided to make reservations. I personally liked that you had to leave a deposit to hold the reservation. That tells me they're serious about making sure it was not overcrowded. The menu was limited due to it being a special event, but the items to choose from seemed interesting. Plus the bottomless mimosas & bloody Mary's was a big bonus. Our reservation was at 10:15AM. I'll start off with the review by mentioning my dad. He is a grumpy old guy who doesn't get out much. I've had to "warn" wait staff to ignore him; that he's a grump & won't be paying the bill, we will, so to not let any comments phase them, & we will try to keep him in line. Luckily he doesn't know what yelp is! When we were reviewing the menu the night before, he made the comments, "weird menu, it will be crowded, bottomless drinks? That means they will come by one time with tiny glasses." So we arrive a little early but are immediately seated in a very quiet area with only a couple of other tables occupied. The Grumpy old man: "see. They stuck us where we won't get any service." As soon as we sat down our waitress came over & immediately wished us all a happy mother's Day & could she get us a Bloody Mary or mimosa & that they were bottomless. And that she'd also be bringing our pastry board. We ordered our drinks & my dad made the comments, loud enough for the waitress to hear, "ok girls. Your one small mimosa will be coming out along with cold donuts. you'll never be offered another one, so enjoy." Within a few minutes us moms got our mimosas. In large wine glasses, filled to the top. Grumpy old man got a Bloody Mary. Nice selection of Pastries were hot out of the oven. He Made the comment, "great, a weak drink." (He hadn't taken a sip yet.") We told the waitress we would need a few minutes to look at the menu, she said fine. No rush. She came back & saw my mom & dad were nearly done with their drinks. Offered another while she took our order. My dad replied: "no. I'm driving." Translation: it's a strong drink. We went to order & my dad ordered the eggs Benedict with pork belly. also muttering it sounded weird, and it would be a shame to throw out such expensive food. He ate every bite & told the waitress it was "ok." (He rarely eats all his food.) Translation: it was probably one of the best he's had. I had the vegetable quiche & it was very good. The mimosas kept being offered & were flowing for the moms well after our food was finished which for it being a special, reservation only event was a pleasant surprise. We finely told the waitress at round 4 us girls were done. The restaurant remained quiet & when we left, it was busy, but not overly so. The manager, Chris, was greeting people & wishing the moms a happy Mother's Day. We were there for a couple of hours & never felt rushed to leave. When the bill came & my husband went to pay it, my dad told him to make sure the tip wasn't included before not leaving one. The waitress had to put up with us girls Constantly getting mimosas without asking for them. Translation: he felt like he had a nice time, the waitress made sure us moms had a nice time & wanted to make sure she got a tip. Us girls decided that we wanted to come back for regular happy hour/dinner next time we visited. My dad grumbled that he'd have to come too so we'd have a ride back. Translation: he wants to come back. Lol It was pricey, but worth every penny for the wonderful Mother's Day we were able to give our older moms. I'd definitely do it again next year if they have it. Thank you!

On this visit, I ordered the usual, fettuccine alfredo with chicken and shrimp, gnocchi soup, and an extra spaghetti dish. When I got home, 5 mins away from the restaurant, my fettuccine alfredo had sauce but it look like someone put 2 tablespoons of alfredo sauce in my dish. My shrimp was charred and I couldnt get past the taste of the burnt on the shrimp. My pasta tasted just like the noodles because of the lack of sauce. I decided not to eat it. I received the usual survey of "How did we do?" and I put the information that Im putting here in the survey. I got apologies from the guest relations for Olive Garden who said Management would reach out to me. So far, no one has reached out to me. Pretty upset as this meal total on this visit was about $50. I like Olive Garden but now I feel like I need to look at my meals before leaving the parking lot. Thanks Olive Garden for making this right!

There is a "train" in the middle of the restaurant but it's more of a fabricated one, which is good for accessible seating if needed. There are not a lot of tables within the train, but it does have two half circle booths, two small 2 person tables, and two standard booths. My kids love the Mac and cheese kids meals, which come with either soup/salad/applesauce and ice cream. We regularly order the Meat Lovers Treat and Alfredo dishes. The broccoli with mizithra cheese on top is a great side to share.

It serves as a staple in some cuisines and does have reliability and big restaurant chain energy. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Most meals are around $20-25 but come with a choice of minestrone soup or salad with choice of dressing. They do serve fresh bread with butter which is seemingly unlimited. It comes out hot and fresh every time. You also get a choice of spumoni or vanilla ice cream for dessert. I ordered the pot pourri which was 4 different sauces that they already serve - marinara, meat, clam, and mizithra cheese. All four were great and what you expect. I think the clam was a stand out to me because of the depth of flavor and slight spice. The chicken parmesan that my partnered ordered was subpar. He will definitely stick to pasta next time. We also had a side of broccoli with mizithra and it was delicious but extremely salty because of the cheese. The ice creams, salads, and soups were as expected.

Other than the wait, the waiter and waitress were lovely and attentive through the meal. Our appetizer (asparagus & burrata, with prosciutto) did arrive quickly. It was tasty, though two of us found the burrata cheese quite salty, and the asparagus was a bit chewier than I expected. The Torchio e Granchio stole the night; the Dungeness crab meat was excellent and tasted fresh, and matched the cream sauce well (which I normally don't like to eat, but was great with the crab). The beef and pork meatballs were sizeable, which was appreciated; we found them a bit over-flavored however (particularly with oregano), and the sauce-to-meat proportions was a bit much (way too much sauce for the amount of pasta and meatballs for our taste). I found the Orecchiette con Salsiccia to be wwayyy more spicey than the Fregola e Gamberi. Though on the menu they both have one chili sign beside them, I could barely taste any spice in the Fegola e Gamberi, but in the end I picked out a small pile of chili pepper bits from the Orecchiette, which even after doing so my mouth still burned through the meal. They definitely need to add an extra chili next to this dish in the menu.

Service: attentive but a bit slow to get to order. We were told to sit at a table and wait to order. Took about 20 minutes. My sister came after us ordered at the counter. By the time her food came, I asked when can we order. They said our server would be out shortly. We still waited. Food: disappointed they ran out of chicken. The meatball was ok. Penne Brown Butter and meatball: the noodles were flat, only one meatball but tasty with cheese. I should have chose pink sauce since I was told after I ordered that chicken was sold out. Spaghetti with meatballs: perfect Fettuccini with chicken & pink sauce: amazing (this was my nephews order the one my sister ordered at counter) Zoodles with chicken in Alfredo sauce: perfect according to my sister Fettuccini with sausage & Alfredo sauce: just ok because no chicken (my son didn't like it without chicken) Bread: amazing and a hit If I would have known about the chicken I would have ordered something completely different. I was told after and didn't have the menu.
