Been craving a concha so I stopped by while I was in the area. They have many other options for pastries and desserts. Their cakes display looked well done. There aren't any prices written in the bakery, but we paid a total of $4.75 for a concha ($1.75) and a flan ($3). Service was friendly and helpful. The Flan was light in flavor, but great texture. If you want a not too sweet flan, this is good to get. The Concha was soft and also not too sweet. Satisfied my craving. I'll definitely be back for more concha! read more

Their Conchas are the best. Crispy buttery top and soft inside. The size is huge and only for $1.25 each. This price is unbelievable in NYC. Flan is very sweet but yummy. I really wish to buy breads there everyday. read more

Went there just before 7 am on Sunday. It's probably the only thing open during this early hours. I was greeted with a smile from the staff and the sweet warm aroma as soon as I entered the bakery. I had no idea about the names of the pastries what I bought (see picture); I just picked whatever looked appealing and tempting. Can't really go wrong with any choice here. Nice bakery with some great food. The service is top notch as well. Super nice people, with the food to back it up. I came here a couple times. I tried a couple things: a donut, empanada de queso and also a spinach and cheese pastry. I had a pineapple and strawberry juice that was filling. This bakery was such a treat to find! Las conchas are incredible. I didn't think I'd like the strawberry flavor, but it was great. The staff was incredibly kind. I only took off a star because it was quite disappointing when I found out they didn't bake churros. It is what it is. Back again and tried some new pan dulces. I was really looking forward to the arroz con leche filled pastry and it was different than I expected but still good. 3 pastries for $5 is a steal, especially when you consider the quality, variety and the staff's attentiveness. read more

I told L to pick me up some doughnuts and some items with custard inside but he didn't bother to ask for help, instead he randomly chose 6 different pastries. Btw these pastries are pretty big and dense. The sugar donut was better than the chocolate one. Less dense and not as dry. I made coffee.. they def need something to dunk in. So either hot chocolate or coffee. Really filling compared to all those airy donuts. We tried a pastry that's round with a crust. The crust was really crispy and dry, but the rest is basically something like corn bread. Good with coffee. I didn't like the crust. I enjoyed the one that looked like a muffin but inside had custard. It was soft and not too... sweet. We finished the pastries within 2-3 days. Really affordable compared to other bakeries. Will come back and try other pastries. I really wanted the one with rice pudding inside. read more

Tres-Leches Cake was a big disappointment. I should have asked for a fresh one because this must have been sitting in the case for days. Served as a birthday cake and most didn't finish their piece. Awful cake. Shameful to sell such stuff. We did have a couple smaller pastries which were good. Staff is very pleasant. Won't be back. read more
