This lady is horrible at customer service. Totally rude. Somebody needs to replace her ASAP.

This girl is the rudest person that I've probably encountered in my whole life . Horrible customer service . I don't understand how people can hire people like her . She was so rude .

Wow lol $8.05 For certified letter when you know damn well know letter cost that much to be certified. Wow......

Had to give them 3 stars because to me it's closer to 2 1/2 which was what I really wanted to give them. OK let's just start that it was my bad that my car ended up being towed. I saw that it said the fourth Tuesday but it actually was the third Tuesday which was yesterday. I was a little messed up from driving like a maniac just trying to keep a roof over my head working my side job and it's dark every time I get home literally 3 AM so that's my bad for not triple checking the signs. I was nice all the way up until I get to the place literally took me almost an hour to get there clearly I don't have anybody to take me there clearly ubers are extremely expensive I definitely not gonna pay $60 just to go pick up my car so I took the trains and bus and save less. Then when I get there I was fine and nice until he ended up telling me it was $216.73 to get my car out and I was like "wait a minute the lady on the phone told me the correct amount event when she told me to hold on so she could get the proper calculations correct which was totaled to $181.73 so why is it more"? I'm aggravated because they are crooks and they won't even fess up to the mistake of giving me the wrong amount and bad Information. I guess nickel and dimming customers is their way of handling business. I hope they're happy with the extra $35 and whoever is that they're using to process their digital payments so don't go there with debit or credit guys or a stupid check just give these people cash so they don't try to say there's fees added on top of whatever it is that they claim to say you owe. Oh let me correct myself they are getting an extra $35 but that fabulous service that they're using is getting an extra $7.55 for using their electronic payment process. This is extremely unfair and unjust. Why do I have to pay an $8.05 certified letter fee when certified letters don't even cost $8.05, and why are you sending me a certified letter when the car was just towed yesterday just one day of having my car I need to get a certified letter in the mail. Why am I paying toll for something that could've been towed to neighboring locations that they have within the same vicinity of where they picked up my car. Why the heck am I paying gas fees for something that I didn't want total begin with why do I have to pay you $2.10 is it really worth the $2.10. Honestly this is absurd and extremely wrong in so many ways. Amazing business, you know what, I'm gonna start a towing company of my own sounds like a very lucrative business. I'm in the wrong line of work. To all of you who read this review make sure that you're not half asleep from working like a rented mule and read all the parking signs properly double and triple check so you don't end up in my situation. God bless and stay safe.

Allston/Brighton

Listen kids, you got nabbed for parking illegally and now you have to cough up the c@$h. Don't be a…read morehater! You brought this on yourself. Someone in this world has to do the dirty work of going out into the cold, lonely streets at night (no doubt leaving multiple, runny-nosed toddlers crying at home), and dragging your sorry car out of that spot you weren't entitled to... and today that someone is Brighton Towing and Repossessions. Instead of hating, try embracing the nugget of opportunity life just handed you: you're about to journey deep into the seedy heart of Allston where, with any luck, you'll get one of the most satisfyingly authentic tow yard experiences in Boston. So, I was on a third date at the Deluxe Town Diner in Watertown with an outrageously cute/funny/smart girl. I parked my car in the Citizen's Bank parking lot after bank hours, thinking nobody would mind. Little did I know, my whole world was about to change for the better. Three hours later, I emerged from the diner to find that my car had vanished. The nearby no parking sign, which I had brazenly failed to heed, provided the name and phone number for BTR. Thankfully, my date had parked legally, and was able to drive us to BTR. This effectively EXTENDED a date that had gone really well, and gave us an unexpected and exciting experience over which to bond. Did BTR answer their phone any of the times I tried it? No. Did they provide an outgoing message with any information at all? No. Was the business marked from the outside, making it easy to find? No. Was it clear how to enter the building? No. Was it well lit? No! But all of this lends an authenticity to BTR that is both startling and pleasant. You WILL get to stand for many minutes in BTR's tiny, surreal customer holding area, taking in the carefully-crafted aesthetic of the establishment: the garish lighting, the crumpled tissue on the floor (as if strewn carelessly), the bulletproof glass window to separate customer from cashier. Service wasn't at all speedy and there seemed to be some confusion about how much I would have to pay. For a while, I wasn't sure I would be getting my car back at all! My date and I spent much time marveling at BTR's incredible logo (bald eagle with flames emanating from behind it). Thankfully, I didn't have enough cash on me to pay the fee, so my date and I enjoyed a romantic stroll to the nearby Walgreen's to visit the ATM. My only complaint about BTR is that they don't sell T-shirts and mugs featuring their amazing logo and catchy slogans like maybe, "I went to BTR, and all I got was my own car!" Although I feel in my heart that BTR is offering an authentic "sketchy tow yard" experience, some would argue that they're actually serving up a caricature of the genre intended to appeal to the base palates of local hipsters, whose insatiable appetite for irony could make "faux sketch" highly profitable. Either way, I'm very pleased with my experience.

This was an extremely upsetting experience. The company actively patrols the neighborhood looking…read moreto tow vehicles, and it feels more predatory than protective of the community. As a college student, the situation felt especially overwhelming and financially stressful. What made it worse was the demand for cash-only payment to release the vehicle. Being put in a position where your car is essentially held until immediate cash is produced feels unfair and exploitative. There was no sense of understanding or professionalism -- just a transaction that felt designed to pressure people at their most vulnerable moment. Today's experience completely changed how I view this company and similar companies, and I won't forget how this was handled. Turning people into villains. Just watch.
