Unbelievably the best tow company experience I have had in my life. I ran over something on 93 just over what I believe is the Tobin Bridge.... (What do I know I'm a New Yorker) It was a hot afternoon and traffic was ridiculous. So I'm now on the side of the road just over the bridge at exit 29 with a blown out driver side front tire. I call roadside assistance and they tell me 25 minutes. I hang up with roadside assistance and more cars are starting to line up in front & in back of my car (more victims of the tire troll). So 20 minutes goes by and the tow truck driver from Beantown towing calls me to tell me that he is looking for me at an exit in Dorchester. I explained to him that I'm in Somerville and we figured out that the dispatcher must have confused the exits. He said that he would call me back let me and they would get me asap ....folks keep in mind the traffic was horrendous because of rubberneckers checking out our lineup of cars on the side of the road. The owner David expedited my call because he knew I was in a bad location. He rushed to get to me... He was polite professional and best of all he was quick. I'm just wondering why I cannot get similar service everywhere all the time. I had a truly great experience with Beantown Towing. My parked car was totaled and I needed it to be towed to a shop. My insurance company initially sent a tow company that was frustrating to work with, took many hours to arrive, and ultimately did not have the appropriate equipment to help me. I requested a new tow company, and fortunately my insurance company sent Beantown towing. David arrived promptly although it was late at night. He explained that with a car parked in front of me it would be impossible to move my car out safely. He assured me that as soon as the spot in front was empty, I could call him directly and he would come right away. The following morning, the spot was empty and so I called David. He answered right away, and even though his shift was over, he came with his truck right away and delivered it to the shop safely. It's rare to work with someone who goes above and beyond but he definitely did. Super reliable, very understanding, and pleasant to work with. I hope I don't need towing services anytime soon, but if I do, Beantown towing is hands down my first choice. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Dave. He came as soon as he could when I blew a tire and could not get the lug nuts off. He helped me get the tire changed quickly and I was on my way. Then 5 minutes later the spare blew and I called him back and and he came to tow and store my car. The next day he made it easy for me to come to get the car at my connivence and then took me to a good tire shop that didn't rip me off. After he left I started driving on the fixed tire and heard a terrible scraping sound. I pulled over and called Dave again and he pointed me to a great auto shop that fixed the heat shield that came lose when I hit the pothole that trashed the tire. Not surprisingly Dave called me later in the day to make sure I got everything fixed and got home ok. Beantown Towing is AWESOME!!! I will always request them through my roadside agent. And anyone who's in need of fast n efficient service Beantown Towing is definitely what u need. Today was a really long day... I waited almost 4hrs to get my vehicle towed from a local company with my 1yr old in extremely hot weather n was told they couldn't find me. My roadside agent then called in Beantown Towing which is out of town so I began to get even more upset thinking I'm gonna have to wait another hour or more. Amazingly the owner himself on Labor Day arrived to my need in less than 30 mins... He was very polite, friendly n gentle with my vehicle. David was totally awesome!! I was having an awful time after getting into my first car accident and David was super helpful and very compassionate about my situation. He is very timely and very professional. After having a VERY hard time with another towing company who told me they simply "did not feel like towing", I was able to find David online and he met me in less then 20 mins! When we arrived at the tow where my car was, i bashed on by the guy at the front desk and seeing it first hand David was super empathetic and really tried to cheer me up. We all know breaking down is awful - but breaking down in the middle of the road in front of the TD Garden with an impending 12"+ snow storm on the way, that's - you know what I'm saying. I'm pretty sure AAA shut down -I called all the "big guns" from Braintree to Cambridge; at least 2-4 hours wait! One said they were coming but they must have had something better to do. Then Dave answered the call. He was honest about his ETA; promised he would be there - and showed up! Tried to get the van going before towing it; then got us safely out of town. He was pleasant and personable. Prides himself on customer service - and I'll tell you it's exceptional. Not a price gouger - just does honest work for honest pay. David is amazing. When I first called, he very honestly told me that it would be at least an hour, and then told me to call around to other places and call him back if I needed help still. Then, after I waited over an hour for another company, HE called ME because he had happened upon me on the side of the road and wanted to make sure I was okay. At that point, he told me he could tow my car right then and there down the road, and that he'd charge me less than the other company was. Very professional, great road-side manners, AND a short wait time. First, let me start off by pointing out that the author of the last comment is clearly delusional, because my experience was quite the opposite (and hashtags? who does that). Anyway, I haven't had a AAA driver show up as quickly as Beantown nearly ever, and I've had many cars towed frequently. David was especially friendly and extremely professional, even with having to drive me far into the suburbs - would DEFINITELY recommend this company to anyone in Boston, and even though I went through AAA this time, I would not hesitate to use for a private tow. I'm a little behind writing a review but I hope it helps none the less. I've never had to have my car towed before. But when my car died while on Gallivan in the rain during evening rush, I called them up after seeing the reviews on Yelp. They couldn't have been more easy to work with. The car was picked up and delivered to my mechanic, with no issues. We communicated via text to confirm everything worked out ok. The price was reasonable considering it was after 8pm. Also, during the phonecalI he gave a couple suggestions of things to look at that might even be the source of the trouble. I completely recommend their services. read more

I was truly pleased by the service I received from BEANTOWN TOWING! He was fast, extremely nice and even gave me advice on my car; about what could be wrong, where I could get it serviced and so on. Althought the rainy night didn't discourage him from getting me home fast and safe, he was knowledgable about the overall auto industry he made me feel comfortable to talk to him and he even calmed and relaxed me about my car situation,when i was already a bit annoyed. Couldn't start my engine yesterday morning, figured my car needed a jump since it was so cold. No one could come over and help me out, didn't have cables, so I called Beantown Towing at around 9am. Dave answered right away, told me he had a tow that would take 30 minutes and could come right after. Was at my house within 1 hour. He evaluated my car and realized that it wasn't the battery but the fuel line, and got my car running right away. He was so helpful and kept me informed throughout his evaluation! I was extremely frustrated over the inability of the extended warranty company to capture the correct information about my vehicle. The guy who answered the phone (I missed your band, I'm so sorry!) was amazing! He said he could come out and tow me but he wanted to walk me through it on the phone.
