I called several places and nobody was willing to tow the car for me. i finally reached Mike on the phone who was super nice and understanding of my situation. They damaged my car and refuse to take responsibility it. My insurance company now has to peruse the issue because they have been extremely difficult. I was having my car towed from firestone auto and the tow truck damaged my bumper so bad that it needs to be replaced entirely. I have tried to call them multiple times and my insurance company tried contacting them however they have been avoiding our calls. We politely tried to resolve the issue but they have been repeatedly rude and not cooperative on the phone. I now have to fill out a police report in order to get this fixed since I can't afford to pay for a $500 bumper that I wasn't even responsible for damaging. I would not recommend this company and would give it zero stars if I could. They are unprofessional and have terrible customer service. read more

I've never had such a great experience with any other towing companies before. Mike is such a friendly and personable guy and I can tell he genuinely enjoys his job. My brakes on the car were completely done so i called in around 8am to get it towed to a local body shop in Walpole. He came by my house while I was at work and took care of everything and had my car in the shop in less than an hour. The body shop I needed my car to go to was about 20 miles and the price was extremely fair. No one ever wants to get to the point of having their car towed but if you have no other option, I would highly recommend Mike at American Towing. Thank you! read more

Professional, Courteous and timely! I had to have my car towed after breaking down the other day. I called the first towing company I could find and was thrilled that I had to the luck of meeting Mike. Mike was professional and courteous on the phone and gave me a timeframe that he could be there. Sure enough, he was absolutely on time. I get anxious over car issues and Mike was able to put me at ease by taking charge of the situation and finding a reputaible garage that could service my car and made sure that I had a ride and even made me laugh! His truck appeared to be brand new and was clean and tidy. You can tell he takes great pride in what he does. His tow rate was quite reasonable and he was even able to take a credit card. While I understand that cash is always preferable, being in the situation unexpectedl didn't afford me the opportunity to have cash on me! Later that week, he towed a bobcat to my condo association for the landscaper. I was happy to be able to thank him again! Guess he can tow anything! Great local towing company. Had them tow my SUV from Marina Bay. The gentleman, who I think was also the owner, was extremely polite and offered a very low price. Seems like it's small business that's heavily oriented on customer service and establishing a good local reputation. I would definitely use them again. read more
