I was stuck at home with a dead car battery. I had just relocated and had no friends or family nearby. My kids (away at college) told me to take an uber or lyft to the auto parts store (yeah I know, this makes sense, but...). My mom told me to knock on a neighbor's door (this terrified me). No one sympathized with me. I spoke with five mobile repair companies that quoted very high prices and required payment in advance. Plus, a couple of those companies had sent out guys that yelp reviewers described as creepy. Dear Lord, no. As I began sinking into a pit of despair and a gallon of banana split ice cream, I came across Todd's Mobile Auto Repair. I called Todd after regular business hours (expecting voicemail). I stuttered and considered hanging up on him when he said "Hello", because I was shocked that someone answered and he sounded so normal. He offered to come out that very night, but I told him that the following day would be okay since I had absolutely nowhere to go (hence the reason my car battery died). Todd showed up when promised and finished the job in no time. I paid him more than agreed upon, because it had been a very long time since I received such excellent service (meaning, he actually showed up, didn't talk to me like I was stupid, and didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff that I didn't need). I was grateful.
Todd is an industrious, honest, down-to-earth person. He is a throwback to the days of "a man's word and a handshake." He performs major auto builds and repairs, so I didn't think that my dead battery would be worth his time, but I was wrong. He helped me simply because I needed the help. He is a rare breed and I will not hesitate to call him for my future auto repair needs.
I have no other yelp reviews. Actually, I have no social media accounts. Yep, I am truly that introverted. I created this yelp account simply to leave this review. That is how awesome I think Todd is... and I believe you will think he is too. Thank you, Todd! read more
