I can't recommend Todd enough. I've come to him twice now for service on my 07 Nismo Nissan Frontier and he is the best mechanic I have ever dealt with. The truck is definitely showing it's age, just cresting the 100k mile mark, but Todd, unlike most other mechanics, tells you what is needed, and what can be held off on. He is highly knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to find out exactly what's wrong and why. He will even try to find a less expensive way to fix it. He will never pressure you into doing work you don't need. It's rare to find a mechanic this trustworthy and honest. Also, he'll make great recommendations on which parts he believes to be the best (which in my experience haven't been the most expensive) and let you know exactly what's going on with your car. He is very good at "dumbing it down" when explaining the issue so the rest of us no-so-car-savy folk can follow him. Lastly, his prices are great! So, give Todd a try if you value your car's longevity and your wallet. Or, continue going to the local dealership if you want to be sold a new air filter because your current one has a speck of dust on it. ;) read more

i took my jeep to Scott at Todd's, after Simi valley chrysler and jeep miss diagnosed my vehicle with a broken timing belt, when it actually had a bad piston. Scott immediately noticed that they had broken two parts at the dealer,they never told me. He put a used motor in for me and I was very happy with the results. It was a little more than anticipated, but I know it was more work than anticipated. Great job Scott. read more

Being relatively new to the county and having a finicky 8 year old car which keeps having problems is not a good thing. In comes Todd to the rescue! Todd proved to be invaluable in helping to assess what needed to be done, the most efficient way to plan potential fixes, and prioritizing what needed to be done. My last mechanic strongly suggested a $69 windshield wiper fix, $99 wheel alignment, and $245 right rear axle boot repair. I had been told that the right rear axle boot repair was urgently needed and driving more than 3,000 miles on the car would result in more or less instant death or spontaneous combustion. So at about 3,000 miles I took the car to Todd to see if he could fix it. Todd took one look at the axle boot and declared that it was not in dire straights as I had been lead to believe and assured me that it would not cause end of the world problems even if I drove the car for well over the 3,000 miles my last mechanic had insisted on. In fact, he suggested that I wait on the axle boot repair until my transmission needed to be replaced as it would be cheaper because of the lower work hours charged. I came in fully prepared to pay for an expensive fix and Todd was honest and helpful enough to let me know it wasn't needed at all! When I do need the fix I will be back! Additionally, my undercarriage has been a little worse for the wear because of constant roughing by speed bumps, so much to the point where it detached and I could not drive over anything that was less than perfectly level. Todd was very quick in reattaching everything and now cherry tomato (my beloved 2006 beetle) is happy scooting along scrape and drag free! Very honest, very good, and very good prices. WOW! If I can rate Scott 10 stars I would. What an amazing auto shop! We travelled from Las Vegas and woke up the next morning with needing brakes and rotors repaired immediately we called around many places with no availability til the following week because of the holiday. We called Todd's at 4:30pm (40 minutes away from me) and said we needed to leave back to vegas in two days, he told us to bring it by and he will have it done that night . Not only was it done so quick, his prices were lower than what we were quoted elsewhere . And he was so nice , he asked us what we were quoted when we first called and saw what was wrong , we paid less than what we got quoted . There are too many words to post on how great they were and what an amazing experience it was to work with them, those words aren't usually what we say about any auto shop. Worst place to go to by far took my car in to get an engine part changed I purchased the parts from the dealer brand new myself he supposedly diagnosed what was wrong with the car my first time coming here and 2weeks later I find myself having the same problem mind you these parts weren't cheep so I'm really upset either this guy didn't fix the problem and said he did or did a really poor job whatever the case is I'm having to pay for the same thing all over again.. And people don't believe the comments on bottom from the lady who seems to have such great things to say about this shop because if you look at her picture she is related to the guy or his wife smh really upset don't throw your $$ away here!! read more

I took my Chevy Tahoe into Todd's solely because the reviews I read online were all positive. He assessed the problem I had (for no charge) and determined that he could do the job but in my case, it would be more expensive than utilizing the warranty I had on my car. I assumed that I did not have warranty since it was over 100k miles however due to his knowledge, Chevy had a 150k mile warranty on my specific problem. In other words, he looked at my car and unselfishly and honestly told me to go elsewhere to save money with no financial gain for them. That being said, their gain is a lifelong customer. read more

This was my 6th visit to Todds to have my classic car worked on. Always great prices and great work. I can add integrity to my list as well now. While changing out an oil pan he accidentally broke a transmission line which he took 2 extra hours to replace at no cost to me. I know other mechanics might have called and said it needed to be fixed and charged me for the labor rather then eating that labor cost.......................I won't go anywhere else!! read more

Thought he was a good mechanic from seeing the reviews but after having him do work on my car have been very disappointed. He had replaced a valve cover gasket as it was leaking oil. About 3-4 months after there was still oil leaking but it was from the bolt that holds down the valve cover. Another mechanic inspected and said that those bolts (and seals) are suppose to be changed at the same time the valve cover gasket even if they are not leaking at that time as they will likely start to go soon after. Its just doing a correct job. I called Todd about this and he said no he didn't change out the bolts at the time and indicated there is no reason to do that at the same time. The new mechanic fixed it at no charge. So now its been a year or two and the valve cover gasket is leaking again. Originally the car went 9 yrs before it needed changing and now its only 1-2 yrs. Seemed like way too soon. Our current mechanic replaces it and finds a sloppy job of installing the gasket indicating why it needed replacing so soon. I do not recommend this mechanic for poor workmanship and not doing a complete job. read more
