Scott, the owner of Todd's car connection is the most trustworthy mechanic I've ever met. He's more than fair on pricing, he should definitely charge more than he does. I originally brought him my Jeep because the dealer told me it was going to be $3500 to replace the evaporator in my AC unit... The dealer (Jeep across the street) told me that I had a pinhole leak. Turns out this is not the case and Scott even brought in a special piece of equipment to test it, and there were no leaks detected. He filled me up with refrigerant with blue dye, and I drove it around for a month to see where the leak would be just in case... no blue dye ever detected... in addition, he had my car all day and did multiple tests on it for a few hundred dollars. It's been almost a year since and my AC runs perfectly, no issues. That's just the start of my experience here, and I've been back many times for oil changes and little fixes here and there and I've had the best experience. I'll never go anywhere else. read more

My differential exploded a few months after he fixed it Locker was totally ruined along with the ring and pinion. 4. Needs to take a class and communication because there is NONE. Came in to get an oil change on my Lexus ct200h (i drive 145 miles a week for work) and Scott helped me. I had called earlier today to ask if i could come in and he was able to take me in. Scott's really awesome, he not only personally changed my oil right away and charged me a competitive rate that was beyond fair, he also alerted me of the fact that my air and cabin filters needed replacing soon (my filters looked disgusting), that my brake pads were probably gonna make it till the next oil change, and most importantly let me know that my front two tires were scarily low and would probably need to be replaced within the next 2 weeks. I had been feeling like my car was driving kinda funny and the tires being on their death bed is most likely the culprit. I drive so much and had a blowout not long ago so I'm really grateful Scott took the time to inspect my vehicle and notify me of this, because the last blowout was a nightmare. He didn't need to inform me about my tires or anything else. He doesn't even do tires! I appreciate that so much and will be coming back here from now on. I brought my 2003 Tahoe here for a tune-up, oil change & check my 4WD. Turned out my water pump was about to go out, so he replaced it, he put in new spark plugs since they were the wrong size & one was rubbing on something (previous mechanic used the wrong size). Ever since I got the tune-up done, it goes up hills at like 70 now instead of 55/60, runs much better. Just waiting to see if I'll have to put in 2 qts of oil after 2,000 miles.
