Andys has been a great auto repair shop since I've lived in Moorpark. Family owned and operated . Honest work and a fair price .

These are the go-to guys for auto repair in Moorpark. They pretty much do it with the exception of transmissions. Honest and reliable.

One of the vehicles was flipped onto its roof. There was an injured person being attended to on the shoulder of the road. So we had to slow down from the posted 65 MPH speed limit to bumper to bumper traffic. My new brakes and rotors performed extremely well. Afterwards, just prior to the descent on the I-5 into Castaic there was a big rig accident that forced Cal Trans to merge four traffic lanes to one traffic lane. A constant stop and go for 40 minutes. Finally, I was on the 126 approaching Fillmore when the upcoming traffic light changed to yellow. I was in "No Mans Land", I needed to make a split decision. Do I press down hard on the gas pedal and attempt to beat the red traffic light and risk seeing flashing blue lights from the CHP officer waiting at the intersection or do I brake and hopefully don't end up in the middle of the intersection causing an accident. I chose the latter. My new front brake pads and high performance rotors grabbed and I was able to stop behind the crossing. No skidding, no screeching tires, just a quiet smooth stop on a dime. As the CHP officer drove through the intersection, as he completed a left turn onto the Eastbound 126 he gave me a nod. A nod of approval. Then the driver to my right gave me a thumbs up. The "power stop system" you and Robert installed on my Tacoma performed exceptional! I can't express my overwhelming gratitude. I have never said this before, but I have never trusted the brakes on any of my owned vehicles more, than the ones you and Robert recently installed. Thank-you! Thank-you! Thank-you! Art

You know we take for granted our mechanics and technicians that keep us mobile and our cars happy…read more I want to give a shout out to our pit crew at Chris's Auto Connection. We have been taking all our vehicles to this family run business for over 10 years and have not had any issues or complaints with the quality of the work. They handle our oil changes, repairs and when that light comes on the dash they are quick to tell you come by and we will check it out. I am so comfortable with them, the quality of their work and the attention that is given to our vehicles. The owner does a road test for every vehicle that is serviced in their bays. I trust them, that is a rare quality in today's vehicle maintenance society. They pay attention to every detail of your car, and offer cost savings repairs when necessary. They service all makes and models, cars trucks and even business fleets. So when your car breaks down bring it to the best in town. Chris's Auto Connection. Bravissimo Chris

I would strongly caution anyone considering Chris's Auto Connection…read more Several weeks ago, we dropped off our car because the power steering had gone out. They called to say the part was on backorder and didn't know when it might be available but would keep trying to find it and keep me posted. Fair enough--these things happen. But after a couple weeks of no updates, we called back. The woman who answered was rude, curt, and clearly irritated that we had the nerve to ask for an update. She transferred me to Chris, who admitted he hadn't been able to find the part. Then, inexplicably, he launched into a political rant about why auto manufacturing needs to return to the U.S. I replied that imposing tariffs before bringing manufacturing back just hurts everyday Americans. The conversation didn't improve from there. Frustrated, I called a nearby dealer myself. They said they'd check around and, by the next morning, confirmed they had located the part and could have it delivered in about a week. All they asked was a pre-payment to secure it. Here's why I'll never return--and why I urge you to avoid this shop: 1. The front desk experience is actively unpleasant. Customers shouldn't be made to feel like a nuisance for asking basic questions. 2. How is it that I--a complete amateur--found the part in one call, yet Chrissnd his team couldn't do it in several weeks? 3. Injecting personal politics into customer service is unprofessional. I don't care what someone believes--until they make it the reason they're not doing their job. Worse still, there's a sign in Chris's office calling for his political opponents to be jailed. That's not just bad judgment--it's hostile, and it has no place in a customer-facing business. This isn't just about a messed up repair--it's about attitude, accountability, and basic professionalism. Choose carefully. I wish I had.
