We had a very disappointing experience here\…read more We purchased shocks for our 2018 Toyota Tundra and called ahead to ask about installation\. We were quoted what we felt was a fair price\. Before the work was done, we specifically discussed the setting we wanted and made it very clear that our goal was for the front and rear of the truck to sit even\. When we picked up the truck, the front end was noticeably higher than the rear\. The owner explained that he had decided to set the shocks at their highest setting because he thought it would better match our previous setup\. Unfortunately, that was not what we asked for, and it did not achieve the result we had specifically requested\. We agreed the shocks needed to be reset to low, or medium at the very highest\. They were ultimately set on low, and the truck now sits the way it did with our previous setup\. What was especially disappointing was that we were charged for the additional labor required to correct a setting we had not requested in the first place\. In our opinion, if a shop chooses to disregard a customer's specific instructions and the work then has to be redone, the customer should not be charged for correcting that decision\. We expected fair treatment from a local business in our little town, and unfortunately we did not feel we received it\. We will not be taking our vehicles there in the future\.

A month later I now decided to come over to Kane's place and get a second check and it turns out my rotors and pads are all full of life. Obviously closer to servicing but nothing near what the previous shop quoted. I am happy that I can save some money before a brake service and upgrade but also disappointed that a shop I trusted tried to cash grab me on brakes. I go and my parents tell me to go to Pete. Pete however said he isn't the best with Volkswagens so he recommended me to go down to the end to Kane. I told him the full story and so he plugged the car in to figure out everything that was going wrong with the car. After this he gave me his best recommendations for my next steps.
