Fair Price Market is located at 354 North Allen Avenue Pasadena, California 91106. This is a great…read moremarket for those last-minute items that you want to pick up on the way home after work. Their hours are very convenient 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11:00 a.m. till 6:00 on Sunday. For a small mini market they have a good selection of popular items. They also write down items that they don't have and will order them if they are often requested. They have a great selection of items in their coolers, everything from healthy juices, sodas, to cold beer. They also have a selection of wine for sale. When I was stopping by, people were picking up lottery tickets as well as cigarettes and candy bars. They also have a freezer with a small selection of ice cream products. Service was very friendly and helpful as well as conversational. Josie (not the one from the Pussycats!) is a great staff member, and worth a visit just to meet her. Plenty of parking in a private lot right outside a group of boutique restaurants and stores. Great location less than a block off the 210 freeway. I will be back soon and pick up those last minute items that I always seem to forget.

Thought I'd put in my review so there'd be something positive sooner than 5 years old, as one…read morereviewer put it. I don't get why they've gotten a bad rap as the recent reviews over seen. After having gone here for the past couple years and seeing the review mentioning them not being positively responsive about whether or not they were open during the Covid 19 pandemic; I figured I'd give it a try to reach out and see if they were open for business. The owner answered and explained that they were, technically, closed because of the quarantine guidelines. However, he asked if I would be willing to meet him the next morning in his parking lot. I gave him my list of things we needed and he was there, texting me to let me know, earlier than arranged. Terrific! I'll be right over! Since then, presumably because we had such a pleasant exchange, I'm disabled and have been a regular; he occasionally would check in to see if I needed more cigarettes for my fiance or anything else. Something that was nice since during my first call with him I'd explained it was more cost effective for my pocketbook to be able to buy by the cartons, as opposed to single packs as the gas stations refused to sell by the carton making my fiance's habit more costly than usual. I can tell you from experience that he has reopened even though his doors are locked. Because if current Covid conditions, he is answering to knocked on his security door from the parking lot entrance. Tell him what you need and he'll get your items and provide you with your total. Heck, call ahead and speak with him nicely; he'll most likely have your order ready by the time you've told him you intend to be there and it's a nice, quick and easy process.
