Literally everything on their menu is amazing. The women who work here are so friendly and their iced lattes are the best I have had in Boston. Truly a hidden gem. read more

Delicious, made to order sandwiches. Service is friendly and quick. The prices are definitely a steal too. I like that they offer both breakfast and lunch items. read more

Since they open we love the place and the flats but since a couple months ago the girls that work there are not friendly at all they hace change a lot. They used to be friendly in person and on the phone now is like i rather go somewhere else than here. read more

Just ordered pickup here for the first time and it was so good. I ordered the bom dia flat...delicious!! I ordered via Grubhub for pickup and it was quick and easy. Food was fresh and yummy. I even ordered a salad for lunch later! Super friendly staff, clean place and I'll definitely be back!! read more

Hidden gem in Eastie! This little coffee shop is flooded with natural light and sits on a cute corner on Chelsea Street. I had a cappuccino and their most popular breakfast sandwich, Buomdia Flat, which was every bit as good as advertised (see pic attached). There are only two bar stools to sit down at inside, so you might want to plan on getting your order to go. Staff was very friendly! read more

Really dont understand the hype. East Boston has tons of good restaurants and lunch places - this is not a 5 star joint

I'm not going to lie, the food tastes good, it's clean and fresh, you want to come back for the Hawaiian flatbread, but I can't say the same about the service. read more

This place was amazing. A small coffee shop with flatbreads, salads and smoothies served with care. I felt very welcomed walking in. There's really no room to eat sitting down but you can stand at the bar and eat your food or take out. My Italian flat was amazing. And I'll definitely be returning next I'm in Boston read more

Toasted Flats - Italian Flat - Sandwiches Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

My husband and I love this place. We stop in for coffee and a quick to-go breakfast on the weekend whenever we can. Their smoothies, juices, and flats are great and if they have a baked banana cake or muffins on the counter, you're in luck. The staff have always been so friendly and helpful and we love supporting this small local business! read more

Love toasted flats! Such a good local small business. The turkey blt is my go to and the coffee is great as well. Such a good local spot to grab breakfast or lunch - just call ahead if you're in a hurry. read more

Service was amazing, so nice and friendly! Food was great along with the smoothies. Definitely recommend the bom dia and the classic smoothie!!! read more

Got the Italian with extra hot peppers. Delicious! The ladies working were sweet and even gave my dog a treat.

5 stars really? C'mon. East Boston is filled with hidden amazing eats. If you want a good sandwich go to East Boston farm stand. This place is like going to Shaw's and buying the ingredients and making it yourself but then it's worse. read more

Toasted Flats is one of the places that makes you wonder why isn't there a sixth star! The people working there are so positive and genuine, the flatbreads are exceptional, their menu is so rich. By the way, this is the best café in East Boston and there's no doubt about that. read more

Just stopped in to get some iced lattes and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! One of the sandwiches caught our eye as well so we ended up getting a turkey club flatbread which was excellent as well! Their menu looks so good with a lot of healthy and yummy options- I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend for coffee and food! read more

Specified a change to a sandwich I wanted was in a big hurry and they fought with me about what I said and made me feel very uncomfortable then charged me for a more expensive sandwich very bad experience read more

This place is a hidden gem! I had a smoothie bowl (summer special) that was delicious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend! read more

I give Toasted Flats a 22/10. If toasted flats was a dog, I'd stop to rub its belly everyday. Except it's not a dog, it's a coffee and sandwich shop with a funny sign out front (in nice weather only). read more

In the past two years that I've been living in Eastie, I've been looking for a neighborhood cafe to visit where I could grab coffee and a quick bite to eat. Now I'm kicking myself for not visiting this place sooner! My husband and I walked over on a weekend afternoon to grab lunch and we were greeted by such friendly faces and great food. We had the BBQ chicken flat and the tuna melt flat, but I'd love to come back to try their smoothies and breakfast sandwiches. It's a small shop with only 3 bar seats so I'd probably recommend taking out. It was fairly busy when we walked in around noon, but service was fast and the food came out quickly. Will definitely be a regular of toasted flats from here on out! read more

Ate here while visiting daughter in East Boston. The food was great and portion size was huge. It's very small and not a place you will eat in but there is a small park nearby to enjoy the food. Friendly and helpful staff. My husband and I had lunch flats (similar to paninis) and daughter had a breakfast one. Yum! read more

Got a eye opener, Italian flatbread and a turkey club. So delicious and the women who work here are always super nice and accommodating. We try to come here every few weeks to get lunch and will continue to do so! read more

This place is the best! Friendly, fast, and delicious - what else could you ask for! The pastries are a bit overpriced, but the sandwiches are reasonable. read more

I was looking for a new place to eat lunch and decided to give Toasted Flats a shot. It's now my favorite place to go! Food tastes great! Fresh ingredients used and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend it! read more

I went today with my mom for the first time. My grandfather used to own this building but he sold it just before he passed on. There were three ladies working there. Two were not that friendly and didn't speak much English. The manager woman with tattoos came off rude, 8 dollars each for small smoothies came out to $16. We told her to add the muffin in our order so we assumed she charged us for that but when we walked out side and were half way down the block she ran outside chasing us demanding we pay for the muffin that she forgot to charge us which was embarrassing. The banana smoothie I took a few sips but threw it away because the taste reminded me of baby food. I won't be going back there. Dunkin' Donuts is cheaper and better. Just my honest opinion. read more

The food is always fresh, the menu offers great healthy options and the juices are amazing ! I love the tuna melt flat and tried the detox juice which is really good for those healthy food lovers like me. It has beets, and cucumbers which help to strengthen the immune system and cleansing. The staff is nice and welcoming! Check it out!! read more

Come here all the time! Cute and clean little corner cafe. Love the tuna melt & Hulk smoothie!

Great little gem in eastie with great food and great service. I eat here on average about 3 times a week and highly recommend this place.

If you are looking for a quick bite to eat, this is the place to go. Yes the place is tiny, but the food is delicious and the staff is so friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back. read more

The flatbread sandwiches here are really tasty and well priced. Friendly staff and good coffee too. I don't want to take any stars away for a big grip of mine. Because I think it could easily be fixed. We order ahead often and know our sandwich is ready but there is always a big line of people order coffee and sandwiches or just standing there and blocking the way as the place is small. There's got to be a way people that ordered ahead can just grab there food without the extra 15 min wait in line to ask for it. read more

I came to toasted flats on a Saturday morning looking for a good breakfast. The sandwiches ("flats") were the best thing on the menu. The bread is great, and the filling was too! However, the juice was good but not cold enough. The coffee is pretty good, but not the best I've ever had. I would come back if I'm in the area, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here because it's pretty out of the way. Seems like a good local spot! read more

Eat here for breakfast one time and had a bacon and egg flat. It was fine. No fireworks. Super hot inside the cafe, so took it to go.

Really cool small place, with good food for breakfast or lunch, healthy smoothies and snacks, def. recommend it and you can even order on Uber eats read more

Toasted Flats is amazing! My husband and I go every week or two and we are never disappointed with what we order. Their Italian flatbread and chicken bbq are our favorites and we also love picking up their freshly baked muffins. We can't say enough great things about Toasted Flats - so excited to have them in the neighborhood. read more

Coffee not bad. Feels like a sauna whenever I go Inside. Prop the door open or something. It's unbearable to sit in there.

This is a great local place to grab breakfast. Pros: - opens earlier than most other places in the area - food is tasty - owner and staff are very friendly - nice set-up Cons: - food takes a while to prepare, so don't go expecting a quick in and out - there isn't much seating to eat in read more

Absolutely amazing food. Adorable little cafe! The staff is so nice and they are so cute and helpful! Would drfibi recommend. Literally inhaled my "flat" (which is their version of a sandwich) in five minutes! read more

Toasted flats was very cute, affordable, and yummy. The lattes range from $3-$4, the sandwiches and quinoa power bowls were about $7. The service was fast and friendly. The inside is pretty small so not great to go with a group but perfect if you are solo or looking for a quick to go bite. Parking was relatively easy to find as well. Only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars and not 5 is because of the lack of room inside to have a quiet seated meal, otherwise everything else is great!!! read more

Amazing and fresh and consistently amazing and fresh! Food is healthy and fast and owner and staff are super nice. Love this place! Definitely 5 stars! read more
