Good first Visit. Seated quickly despite a crowd. Service was on top of it and helpful. No waiting for coffee warmups or water refills. Coffe was fresh and smooth. Plates were served hot. Food was well above average with one of the better breakfast pork green chili's in town. Chorizo Omelet was fluffy, tasty and had good spice level. Shaved hashbrowns are an acquired-taste format for some but were well cooked, if a little under seasoned. Table side check out was quick and efficient. I will be back. read more

This place is awesome. It's not very big, so there was a small wait when we went on a Saturday morning. It's got a Dennys vibe, very cute and old fashioned. Not super retro, just old-looking in a charming way. The menu is very large. They have lots of options in each section (pancakes, French toast, Benedicts, omelets, etc.). I first got a decaf latte with oat milk. I was surprised they had decaf espresso and nondairy milk. Lots of small breakfast places have neither. The latte was exactly what I needed. For food, I ordered the Eggs Blackstone Benedict with hash browns and a side of banana walnut French toast. The bacon on this Benedict is a spicy red pepper-crusted bacon and it was really delicious. Unlike any other kind of bacon I've ever had. The Benedict was really tasty. The hash browns are also unique in that the shreds are like the thickness of an egg noodle. They were good! Lastly, the French toast and pancakes here are masterpieces. The banana walnut French toast was delicious, and it was sweet without being cloyingly sweet. After seeing great reviews we were excited to check this place out. It's in a nice location with decent parking, clean overall and very bright and welcoming. Carpets are pretty bad though from age, wear and food, so a bit of attention to those details and you've got a very nice space. Staff was friendly and attentive, getting our drinks quickly and our food out in just a few minutes. Presentation was outstanding, so we were ready to dive in. My wife ordered the French Toast 'sampler' and it was as good as it looked. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito with eggs, hash browns, green Chile pork and a fresh pico de gallo. Though it was fresh and a large portion, it was a little bland. I had to put tapatio on it just to give a little flavor to it, which is not a good sign. Not sure if they reduced the flavor and spices for the clientele, but maybe add a little back in and you've got an amazing dish. Unfortunately our lattes were room temp when they came, so I sent mine back and it came back still only slightly warmer. Great tasting coffee, just poor execution. Again, nice place, nice staff, good food, but the lack of attention to details brings down the experience, especially with the price point being on the higher side. COVID and Location Change Update: Toast delivers five stars in all things breakfast and brunch. I had a horrifying moment for a few minutes as we drove to their OLD location and saw the "Closed" sign. Stomach drop. However, after a quick hop on their website, we learned they moved!! Brunch is saved! And, there new location is very spacious and mitigates the awkward teensy standing room only area / parking lot lobby at their old location. Toast also does a great job with pandemic precautions (masks mandatory, socially distanced tables, staff wearing masks, etc.). Brought the parents here (again) and enjoyed fabulous brunch entrees - see the pics. Flavors have always been on point as well as super attentive and friendly service. I was very excited for the French toast flight. It looked beautiful but all the different syrups and flavors started to run into each other. I also wish they used really berries, not the mushy kind out of a container. My significant other ordered the lumberjack breakfast and asked for the hash browns crispy, but holy moly- they were black on the bottom. He requested new hash browns and never received them so he had a hard time enjoying an incomplete meal. The server was sweet and attentive initially, but disappeared towards the end of our meal. Went today for breakfast with a party of 3. Put my name on the list, and asked for outside seating because one of the members of the party had a dog with her. The hostess acknowledged the dog and said it would be about a half hour for patio seating, which was fine. We waited outside and got our text at about the half hour mark. I was alerted by text to come in. When we approached the host stand (person with dog went around outside to meet us on the patio) she said she was ready for us and I reminded her about the outside seating. She immediately looked panicked and had obviously forgotten we needed patio seating. She said it was fine and that she thought there was a table available out there for us so we followed her out. There was a table but it had dirty cups on it, so she asked us to stand at an empty two top and she would send someone out to clean our intended table off for us. After about 5 minutes no one had came so we decided to sit at the intended table and wait for the glassware to be removed. It was 2 water cups and a coffee cup, no big deal for us. Several minutes later, our waitress, Lisa T. Approached table and said "oh so you guys just decided to sit at a dirty table?". I explained to her that this table was given to us and we were tired of standing and waiting for someone to come clean it that obviously wasn't coming. I overheard her do this to another young woman who was directed to come out on the patio that hadn't been given menus by the host. Lisa is rude. Flat out. Your staff is obviously overwhelmed and can't remember to instruct someone to come clear off a table or bring menus to patrons, and they are left to seat themselves at YOUR hosts direction and then berated by Lisa for doing what they were instructed to do. P Your staff needs a lesson on treating customers better overall. Sadly, the food isn't nearly good enough to put up with the attitude and passive aggressive comments from your wait staff. read more

Came in on a Saturday morning for brunch and it was busy! We placed our name on the Yelp waiting list (which was an hour) so we didn't have to wait that long once we arrived on-site. I ordered the Oscar Benedict: tenderloin steak and crab cake nestled in a regular Benedict. All my favorite foods in one dish! The hollandaise was delicious and all the different items worked so well together. VA ordered the Chai Tea French Toast. The chai flavor in the apples definitely gives this dish a pop. The positives here are all about the food, everything looks and tastes wonderful. On this trip, I had the bacon and eggs with a side salad and rye toast. Everything was delish. My partner had the Denver omelet with hash browns. He said he would eat that meal everyday but would ask for the hash browns to be a bit more crispy. The little one had the kids chocolate chip pancakes with sausage. Honestly, it was too many chips! To me, the only negatives are that they do not serve any alcohol so if you want a mimosa with your meal, this is not your place. Also, they will not serve an adult a kids meal. We had the peach berry crumble this morning and *chef kiss* they were perfect. I had the chorizo burrito but subbed the red sauce for the green. It was delicious. I can't find anything wrong. The last time I was there I had the chai tea...which tasted more like hot milk with cinnamon. Not horrible, but not tea. Give it a shot. They have a French toast flight in case you can't decide. I've had breakfast at Toast once/month lately because a group I'm in meets there. The food's been at best mediocre, and today was SO bad I have to write a review. The carnitas burrito I got was at barely room temperature, with almost no meat in it. It was stuffed with undercooked potatoes (white hash "browns"). I ate the non-potato parts and felt sick. Left the potatoes. I suppose it would have helped if the waitress had brought me a glass of water, but no. Bad service as well -- not even water! I made my own real breakfast when I got home. My solution: I'll keep going to the meetings, but I'll order nothing from "Toast Fine Food." read more

The wait was long but not so long that the delicious food can't justify. The waiting area is cutely decorated with hand drawn "toasts" on the wall that can help kill some wait time. We were really disappointed when we went to here the first time, but wanted to give it a second chance and come for breakfast again. Unfortunately the service was still not good. Our waiter, Pedro, was clearly over worked and wasn't very friendly. Immediately after we sat down he was rushing us to order. When we did put in our food order the food came out quickly and two second after getting our food, the waiter dropped off the check! We hadn't even been there a full half an hour! The food was absurdly burnt and the eggs were over cooked again (chicken fried steak in the picture below). I tried to flag down our waiter but he was nowhere to be seen after dropping off the check. Maybe you did the eggs right, but you allowed your waitress to let them sit under a heat lamp until they were rock solid and the hollandaise was dried into the egg white. Any chef with proper control of the kitchen would not have allowed this to occur. The only conclusion being that the cooks don't command respect in the kitchen, and it is bleeding into customer experience.
