    ULTIMATE BISCUIT
    Michelle S.

What a cool and funky place. The decor is amazing. Everything from pop culture cereal boxes to garbage pail kids. The donuts melt in your mouth. The hash was flavorful and just the right size. The biscuits were yummy. And the service was just as nice.

Our host was good, food was good. They forgot to our donut bites order but it was not a big deal. Once they realized they forgot they were willing to give to us for free.

Meh. It has more appeal visually, than culinary. The menu is extensive and exciting, and portions are large...but ultimately the taste is simple. The hash could benefit from an additional protein and flavor. Staff was nice and service was quick, even on a Saturday morning.

I love Jelly and I was excited to try this location as I usually go to the one closer to Capitol Hill. The menu was the same and I had my usual favorite: Aztec rice hash. It is the perfect combination of savory, sweet and spicy! The dish comes with toast and fresh house strawberry jam, which was divine. I also shared the crunch berry French toast with my friend and it was incredible and so unique. The atmosphere is wonderful with natural light, friendly staff, clean environment and cute retro decor. Jelly offers a wide selection of sweet and savory foods and always a great experience.

My husband and I eat at Jelly frequently, and we always go back! It's affordable, delicious, and usually not too long of a wait. The restaurant is diner style, but with some more modern colors thrown in, and is well decorated with vintage cereal boxes and art. The breakfast burrito is always delicious, and big enough to take home leftovers. My husband switches his order around, but loves the biscuits and gravy as well as the chilaquiles. I rated 4 stars because the food is a bit inconsistent in terms of flavor, but it's never different enough that we don't enjoy it. Jelly is a classic for our family!

Absolutely love Jelly, had a semi large party of 8 on 4/20, which also fell on Easter this year.On top it was also my birthday. After an online scheduling snafu the host called an audible and pushed a few tables together. Food is ALWAYS top notch. Been dining at the OG Jelly in Cap Hill for 15+ years. Only thing I wish I could have ordered was a bowl of cereal. It would be neat to offer some current cereal offerings, maybe next 4/20?

    These donuts are bagels!!!

I would not recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy. there was food on my utensils when they gave it to me I asked for a new one he went in the back and just smudge it didn't get me new utensils like I asked the waiter didn't ask me once if I needed a refill on my water they didn't come over at all to check up on us. I wish I could give a zero star, but the lowest I can give is a 1. They also charged me for chocolate chips when I didn't get any chocolate chips on my pancakes. I was super excited to try the donuts when I got home. The donuts are sadly disguised as bagels!

Can confirm Jelly is celiac / GF friendly! GF donut holes in the first photo. Staff seems knowledgable and sensitive & it's a fun place for groups on a weekend AM! Reservation recommended for brunch-ing I can't speak for the non-GF food as a celiac bruncher, but my non GF friends seem to enjoy their meals! As a celiac diner I mostly focus on 1. Variety of options on a menu and 2. Execution of food tastiness. While Moxie on broadway is still my favorite Denver brunch spot, Jelly is perfect for a larger group brunch and a more classic dining experience!

Keep hearing about this place since I moved to Denver. Is busy when trying to go during morning break feast times on the weekend. Has about a 45min queue wait so might be smart to get into the waiting queue while driving over. I got the bacon jalapeño pancakes which were great with some a side of rustic potatoes. The potato's weren't crazy but you go here for the donuts. There are many different flavor options and they are bite size so you can get a couple and try a few. Which I love!

I really like this location. It's close to me and conveniently place. Our severs were cool. Nothing super special not super negative. There was the downside that they didn't give us cutlery when we sat down. We didn't even have it when the food came. So that was kind of annoying, but not a deal breaker. They also didn't bring creamer for my friend's coffee, even though they asked him if he wanted some. Again, annoying but not a deal breaker. It was a Sunday so I'm sure there was a lot going on. The food though was delicious. Got a Basic Breakfast with a cinnamon roll pancake, and of course, a mimosa. Sweet and savoury is always my jam. My friend got the Eggs Benedict and his kiddos got pancakes. One tip: ask for the potatoes CRISPY!!! Their soft potatoes just ain't it. I need to start coming here more often.

This place has such a cute, nostalgic vibe! It would have been a solid 5-star experience, but the service left a bit to be desired. When we arrived, we waited at the front for about five minutes without being greeted. One staff member behind the bar glanced our way but continued eating and chatting with customers, another walked past without acknowledgment, and finally, a third person seated us. That said, the food absolutely made up for the rocky start! We shared the Corn Flake French Toast and the Cinnamon Roll Pancake, both were phenomenal. I also had the Corned Beef Hash, which was delicious and cooked perfectly. If the service were as warm as the atmosphere and the food, this spot would be an easy 5 . I'd still recommend it for the fantastic flavors and nostalgic charm!

Severely understaffed for a Saturday morning. Biscuit for the biscuit and gravy was hard and stale. The restaurant was unkept and dirty.

Even on a sunday morning, service was fast and it didn't feel crowded. Parking was easy, which is a plus. I liked that the atmosphere struck a good balance between not being too quiet so it feels weird to talk and not being too loud where I'm feel like I'm yelling to my friend and can't hear her.
