    Mozzarella sticks.

The carnitas burrito was 5 stars. Mozzarella sticks - amazing. My husband and I had the best time. The owner was bar tending and sweet as could be. Our next visit she wasn't there- they were out of a lot on the menu and the burger was disappointing. 4 stars due to the inconsistent food and service. Would try again!

Amazing food and fabulous service. We enjoyed some great local brews while dining on a Trojan Burger and a really tasty meatloaf. Stop here and enjoy the great atmosphere. Can't beat the service. Fish tacos were hot that night and we heard the chili was just what you needed after a cold day! We'll be back to enjoy more!

Pretzel Bites. Nice & salty with choice of a hearty mustard or cheese dip. Excellent with a ice cold brew.

The atmosphere and decor are warm, moody, and cozy as one would expect from a British pub. Prices are decent for the Brady area. The scotch eggs were good. Small and delicious bites of protein goodness. My favorite thing was the fish fry/fish and chips. The fish was the best part because it was flaky with a light, crispy batter. Now there are two things that didn't go well. The first is the Lancashire hotpot. Traditional ones are supposed to have thin potatoes all covered over the top. This one only had a few on the side. See the picture below. The menu even said "topped with potatoes." The stew itself just tasted like ground beef in beef broth. It was sad. Service was not good. Our server never checked on us the whole night after taking our order. We couldn't get any drink refills and had to flag down a different server to close out our order. I generally enjoy British food and will come back to give them another chance. I would order different things next time, though.

Date of visit: November 20, 2025…read more We had not been here in years, but came with some friends for the Milwaukee County Historical Society trivia. It definitely seemed that the staff here were simply not prepared for the volume of people that came out to celebrate the area and support the Historical Society. Emma, our server, was definitely trying, but not always succeeding, neglecting to enter in some parts of the order until far later into the evening (our friends didn't receive their order of garlic bread for about 45 minutes after their entrees were delivered) though oddly enough, she was always ready to bring someone another alcoholic beverage. Thankfully the food I had was pretty good, the grilled cheese sandwich paired well with their tomato bisque soup--I took a chance on the soup not being a traditional tomato soup fan (Campbell's? Gross!) but I found Three Lions version to be hearty and flavorful, definitely a combo that I would get again in the future. I would just come on a night when they could keep up with the crowds far better! Pro tip: Ask for croutons for the soup, they elevated a good soup to an amazing soup.

The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, whether you're stopping in for a pint, a match, or a full meal. The beer selection is excellent--especially if you enjoy proper British ales--and the food is consistently solid, with classic pub fare done the right way. Service has always been friendly and efficient, even when it's busy. It feels like a true neighborhood pub rather than a themed bar, which is exactly why it stands out. Great place to relax, watch soccer, and actually enjoy the experience.

You do have to place your food order at the bar, which is kind of a downer. It isn't a traditional restaurant but more of a bar that serves food. The bartender was very friendly and took our order quickly. The burger patties were great. A bit thicker than traditional smash burger patties but were cheesy, flavorful and juicy. The fries were awesome and plentiful. You can get a dusting of flavor on your fries and I got lemon pepper on mine. My only "complaint" for the burger is the brioche style bun is a bit overpowering and too much bread for the burger. I ended up just eating the patties, but this is my personal opinion. They had a cooler with self serve water which is what we chose m. Again, not a traditional waitstaff butt we were checked on after we got our food. It was a great value with some items I liked and some I didn't due to personal preference, not because anything wasn't prepared well, as it all appeared to be cooked properly. My girlfriend ordered the Celtic Grilled Cheese with bacon, arugula, aged white cheddar, aioli, grilled tomatoes on toasted sourdough. Her sandwich looked amazing, and I regret not asking for a bite. That may be a future order for me. She loved it! I also ordered the County Clare Bloody Mary, which is made with their own seasoning blend and served with a chaser of Harp beer. From the moment you step in, you're wrapped in traditional Scottish charm, classic décor, old-fashioned and beautiful tea sets, and a sense that time has politely slowed down. The classic three-tier tea was exactly what you hope for: savory bites, warm treats, and sweet indulgences. But let's talk about the scones, because they absolutely stole the show, crisp on the outside, buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender inside. The kind of scone that makes you pause, smile, and quietly judge all other scones you've ever had. Add to that a great bar and well-crafted cocktails, and suddenly high tea feels both elegant and celebratory. In my book, this is hands down the best place for high tea in the western suburbs -- perfect for birthdays, friendships, and moments worth savoring.

The menu sounded delicious. They serve a complimentary bread with butter, but we didn't receive any until we noticed another table did as soon as they sat down. So I asked. And eventually someone brought exactly two over and plopped them down on one of our very dirty, used plates. My favorite part was when the server so confidently plopped down the extremely burnt roll and scurried off. So I asked if they could bring out a new roll and butter. Never received either. To start we ordered the Burrata and the Steak Frites. The Burrata was good and I enjoyed the bread it was served with, but the tomatoes could've been in more bite-sized pieces since they were chunks. The Steak Frites was good too... the steak had the allusive butter. The fries were crisp, I didn't try the onion rings though. I wasn't intending to eat much of this dish, but without asking, the kitchen decided to fully split the dish. Not a big deal and I kind of get thinking. The bread thing was weird. Then there was this weird moment where they just tossed a box on the side of the table and scurried off again. The entire time I felt like my presence was inconveniencing them from doing their job. The whole thing felt awkward and gave a sense like they were bothered by something. Perhaps the way I was dressed, but it's a pub for crying out loud, and if I walked down the street to Le Colonial with how I was dressed, LC wouldn't have even batted an eye or had an attitude when it came to service. So next time I'll walk down the street to LC.
