The waitress was a little cranky at first, though, and they wouldn't split the bill, which always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. When you have a group of people, I really don't understand why splitting the bill has to be such a big deal. Other than that, we had a good meal. My dad has been coming here for a very long time, so it was nice to stop in with him, especially on a day like today.

My husband got home and they sent a burger with bbq sauce instead of the cubano. He went all the way back to get my sandwich and I can't even eat it. The ham is supposed to be deli ham, they put a huge chunk of a honey ham (like the ones you buy for Easter) with the brown sugar glaze. Are Cubans eating this kind of ham? No. Then there a sliced pork loin instead of slow roasted shredded pork with lots of garlic and oregano and citrus like a Cuban lechon would have. It's not even edible. I wanted so badly to like this. I just had back surgery and can't go anywhere. I was hoping they could get a sandwich right. It was horrible. I immediately gagged. I'm not a food snob, I'll literally eat just about anything but it has to actually taste good. I'm really sorry toad hall but yall need some cooking lessons.

They have multiple large TV's strategy placed so if you want to watch a game it's great for that. They have both high-top and regular height tables with the major regular height. We tried the Pot roast dinner, Mushroom Swiss burger, and the chicken dumplings soup. The soup had excellent flavor and was homemade. Only wish it had more dumplings. The Pot roast dinner came with three large, thick pieces of beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, and carrots. Everything was very good and something that I would order again. One part of burger patty was a little over done but the rest was much better. Ordered medium and it was more medium well but still very tasty and delicious. Our server was amazing and took great care of us. Also got to meet Mike, assistant GM, and really enjoyed talking with him. They have a large parking lot and I believe you can also pull up in your boat. Only recommendation I would have for them is the handicapped parking spaces are on the west side of the entrance and the handicapped ramp is on the east side of the entrance. Would be nice if they were on the same side of the entrance. Highly recommend Doc's on the Fox!

I also really enjoyed the salmon and wild rice, though the side of vegetables was just average. Upon entering, I was surprised at how large the space actually was. There is a stage right up front, a long, large bar, a pool table and dart boards in the back. They have a small kitchen where the fantastic food is made... I had the fish fry (it was a Friday) and it was superb. A very large portion of meaty fish with light, flaky breading and fantastic fries! They actually had a larger menu that I anticipated and I would definitely go back for the fish fry. I'd prefer to avoid the bar scene. Maybe I'm just getting old, haha. The place started getting really busy later in the evening (past 9) despite the amazing food. There were only 2 bartenders working and they were extremely busy. They could have used 2 more bartenders. There was 1 cook, and he did a great job keeping up with orders. Drink prices were pretty standard. Food was priced very reasonably!! I'd love to try other items on the menu next time I am in the area.
