A customer accidentally broke a drink, but the employee immediately cut them off from service without any apparent justification. Hotel Verdant was the perfect place for my family and I to stay during our visit to Milwaukee!…read more We picked a standard room with 2 queen beds, but it was much nicer than I expected! The room was spacious with plenty of counter space and charging ports, and the restroom was restocked daily with complimentary toiletries. I feel like I can never get a good night's sleep when I'm say sleeping on a hotel bed, but I slept like a baby in my bed at Hotel Verdant! The sheets felt so luxurious and comfortable, and while I usually need to stack the pillows in hotel beds, one pillow was plenty of support for me here. I also appreciated that the housekeeping service actually did come freshen up our room (make the beds, replace the towels, etc) every day during our stay, which doesn't usually happen at the other hotels I've stayed at recently. I didn't love that there is no attached parking garage/lot for the hotel, and instead you have to lug all your luggage across the street to the lot that is shared with two restaurants. My reason for giving Hotel Verdant 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bathroom door did not close all the way in my room, which was very inconvenient, and one of the coffee mugs in my room was very obviously dirty upon my arrival (there were drips of coffee still in it). However, neither of those issues are total dealbreakers, and I do see myself staying at Hotel Verdant if I'm ever in that area again!
