One bartender a few days before Christmas when you're promoting the pop up on social is really bad. Then having your bartender say he can't wait for the night to end is even worse. If you're going to do a Christmas theme bar- perhaps hire someone who wants to be there and make sure they want to be in the Christmas spirit along with more bartenders or staff! Even allowing them to wear something Christmas related would have been a nice touch. As for the drinks- if you're going to offer a special Christmas drink menu at least give me a drink made fresh and not from a pre-mix thrown in a random glass with no Christmas look to it. A little sprinkle or a rim with sugar sure would have made a difference! 3 of us all ordered off the special menu and each drink was AWFUL! And looked miserable. And what made it worse is they were over $10 each and we ended up throwing them out. I made better holiday drinks at home for my family! My dad who ordered a beer was the only one who enjoyed his drink. This bar was to be classy and it missed the mark for sure! Hopefully in time this place will be able to hire a real mixologist that can elevate the quality of drinks. (And maybe even hire someone to just clean the tables). They didn't have any, which was sort of a shock...most hotels have an "emergency" kit or a small gift kiosk offering simple items that are easily forgotten by travelers. 2) My room faced a parking lot which wasn't a big deal, however they were doing some kind of demolition that began around 6:30a. The next morning, the young man who checked me out kindly let me know that next time I can request a quiet room to avoid the noise. A great tip! Neither 1 nor 2 is a deal breaker.
