We recently had our entire early 1900s home rewired by Briar and the crew at TNT Electric, and the experience was outstanding from beginning to end. Briar was upfront about the process and estimated the job would take three days. They finished right on schedule without sacrificing quality. The crew showed up on time every day, worked efficiently, and treated our home with respect. They cleaned up after themselves, communicated well throughout the project, and made sure we understood everything that was being done. Rewiring an older home is a major project, but TNT Electric made the entire process far less stressful than we expected. The workmanship was excellent, everyone was professional and courteous, and it's obvious they take pride in doing things the right way. I would absolutely recommend Briar and TNT Electric to anyone looking for a trustworthy electrical contractor. We couldn't be happier with the results read more

Jonathan was great to work with and provided excellent customer service. He came to our home to provide a quote and took the time to thoroughly explain what would be included if we decided to move forward with the company. Although we weren't quite on the same page regarding pricing, I appreciated his professionalism, transparency, and attention to detail. Overall, a positive experience! read more

Slava & Caleb did an amazing job doing a re wire job in my house. It makes me feel safer after having an electrical plug fire! They came out promptly and told me what I would need. They do such excellent work! They are very professional and do a great job with clean up too. I highly recommend them! read more

They sued me for over $7000 based on allegations of lost business. He bribed me to remove the review. TNT threathened me with a lawsuit if I didn't remove the review. They brought a suit claiming over $6000 in damages for supposed loss of work. I have freedom of speech. Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA) and Anti-SLAPP Laws. Unfortunately, his response contains quite a few mistruths. I have no reason to continue with this ridiculous ordeal, except to say that he is using our legal system to prevent free speech. And he's using the legal system to bribe me into removing a review. read more

TNT had done an in home consultation about my options and needs for the home, discussed lot of options of the levels of renovation I'm looking to go into, answered all my questions. Decided on going with partial rewire to then eventually have the whole home done. Started with the two large living rooms, which were on slabs, had old wall heater wires needing to removed, all two prong outlets to be changed and up to code plus grounding, and a new chandelier installation; I am very pleased with the work and the price was reasonable! Workers were very respectful and professional, answered all my questions, they consulted with me throughout the rewire day (placements of outlets, height of outlets and switches, hard to reach places and the choices), and even cleaned up after themselves well. Highly recommend and looking forward to the next phase :) read more

Excellent and efficient work to add two lines to my kitchen so my appliances would stop tripping the circuit. Small mishap with a sconce light broken in the process and they replaced it right away. Explained everything and answered all of our questions ahead of time. Will use again! read more

**Yelp Review for TNT Electric** I can't say enough good things about my experience with TNT Electric! They truly deserve a five-star rating. From the start, their timeliness was impressive, especially since we were working on a tight schedule. They were incredibly flexible, accommodating different phases of work happening throughout our home, which made the process so much easier. The professionalism of the team was evident as they thoroughly understood the scope of the project. They communicated updates clearly and helped us as homeowners navigate the process, making everything feel manageable. Their work ranged from installing basic light switches to removing kitchen lighting boxes, and they did an outstanding job providing a smooth ceiling finish for the new recessed lights. Additionally, they expertly installed ceiling fans and external motion-sensor lights, enhancing both the functionality and aesthetics of our home. Overall, TNT Electric made this experience seamless and stress-free. I highly recommend them for any electrical needs! read more

Jonathon was very professional and informative. Price was very fair. TNT is our call for any electrical problem now.

Electric car charger replacement. Quick response. Good value. Great service. Would recommend and will use them again.

Update: The owner reached out and clarified that my request came through Yelp ads as a new lead, so they didn't realize I was a previous customer. I appreciate the follow-up and explanation. read more

I hired TNT Electric to run power to my new shed and install plugs and lighting. Briar was super responsive and answered my many questions and had a crew out here in short order. The team was fantastic - Noah, Ben, Eric and everyone who worked on this project were friendly, helpful, honest, respectful of my property and on-time every time. They threw in a couple of nice extras and provided recommendations based on what I am using the shed for, such as plug locations, dedicated plugs, light locations, etc. I have been working from the shed for a couple of weeks now and everything is perfect. I am beyond pleased with their work and will gladly hire them again. read more

Great service and professional staff! Jonathan estimated the work and made some sensible suggestions. Even the office staff, Jessica, made me and my project a priority. I had 4 ceiling fans installed as well as new kitchen, hallway, closet lights. Caleb and Slava arrived promptly and got to work right away. They did a great job with all the work and cleaned up the drywall dust before walking me through to make sure I was satisfied. Wonderful experience! I highly recommend TNT Electric! Candy read more

Called yesterday with a mystery of no power to my garbage disposal outlet after replacing. Replaced the outlet, but did not want to mess with breaker panel, so called TNT, because they were one of only electricians who could be out next day, as my sink was apart. Jonathan came out and quickly determined that everything I installed was fine, but the disposal outlet is a dedicated circuit and the switch needed to be on. They said no charge, even though he drove out here. Top notch from a top notch company. Thank you, TNT! read more

I needed an electric panel replacement in a short period. Briar provided an estimate quickly with a guaranteed completion date. TNT Electric arrived on the specified time, explained what they were doing and finished the entire project in less time than originally scheduled. Both were very polite and answered any questions I had. They also provided photographs of the completed job and everything was left very neat. I will definitely use TNT Electric for future projects and recommend them highly. read more

It all started with a Google search while trying to figure out what to do about the original Zinsco electrical panel in our 1960s Carmichael home. Like many older homes in this area, ours still had one of these outdated panels, and TNT Electric's detailed information immediately stood out because it described exactly what we were dealing with. That first impression was spot on. From the initial meeting, you truly felt like you were in a professional's hands. Briar went beyond just giving a quote, taking the time to explain the process, what needed to be done, and what to expect. What really stood out was the honesty and professionalism. The estimate was exactly the final invoice. No surprise charges, no games. Panel replacement also requires careful coordination with permits, inspections, and SMUD disconnecting and reconnecting service the same day, so you need a contractor you can trust to execute on schedule. Briar and his crew handled it flawlessly. We also had a separate EV charger issue caused by a cheaper outlet installation from a previous electrician that was overheating. TNT took care of that as well at a very reasonable cost. After dealing with several contractors during recent home projects, TNT really stood out. If you have an older Carmichael or Sacramento area home and need a trustworthy electrician, especially for a Zinsco panel replacement, I would absolutely recommend them. read more

TNT completed my home project in a timely manner which included upgrade of an older zinsco panel, new subpanel, EV charger installation and an extra electrical outlet installation in crawlspace. Even though we started the project with some miscommunication about the full scope of work, I appreciated that Briar was communicative, responsive and we were able to talk through to come to an appropriate resolution, and all the work was well done in the end, and on time. read more

Called Briar- next day appointment. Briar was professional, polite, and offered the quote over the phone with pictures provided of course. His techs were very professional as well. Great service, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful staff. And they completely cleaned up afterwards.

Awesome service! Highly recommend these guys for electrical fixes. They were in and out in 1 hour.

I was so grateful that TNT could give me a same-day appointment to evaluate and repair some misbehaving electrical outlets and fuses. After I described the event that caused the problem, Jonathon knew exactly where to look and what to test. He diagnosed the issue and fixed it very efficiently, and gave me some good future-DIY education while he worked. Everyone with TNT was super friendly and capable. Will gladly go to them again for any future electrical read more

They were quickly responsive and provided reasonable cost with 100% satisfaction. Highly recommend them.

The team came out and were very professional. Had some minor hiccups but we managed to work through them. Highly recommended.

TNT Electric did an awesome job for our recent master bathroom and guest bathroom remodel. The guys were very professional and had a lot of experience. The team wired and installed multiple scones, moved and added recess lighting, added multiple pendant lights, wired for vanity lighted mirror and installed plugs for 2 smart toilets. Here's just a few points on what made this company stand out: 1. Quick response, great communication and best quote. I requested quotes from 3 other companies and Briar was quick to respond with a thorough quote breaking down all the work which I really appreciated. Other companies just gave the overall price or didn't even respond. 2. Great at managing their resources and very service oriented. TNT did all the prep and was one of the first trades to complete their work on schedule. The vanities were installed but needed modifications which caused 2 of the scones not to line up. One call to Briar and he had his guy out to quickly make the modifications before the tile guys came to tile the walls keeping us on schedule which I really appreciated. 3. Able to manage last minute changes. I had a few last minute modifications I wanted to add and Briar was able to make all modifications with no issues. 4. Came back at no extra charge to install all lighting. Once the remodel was completed and we were ready to install the lighting, Noah came out at no extra charge and did a wonderful job making sure everything was properly installed. Some of my pendant lights had heavy crystals and he replaced and installed a heavy duty light box to make sure all lights were secure at no extra cost. He added dimmer switches on several lights too. The other companies I quoted did not offer this service or wanted to charge me extra. In summary, I would highly recommend TNT Electric for all your electrical needs. Great people and awesome service. read more

Great service. Quick in and out. The guys were great, replaced what I needed and tested before they left.

I collected four quotes for a full knob and tube replacement and chose TNT Electric based on my initial conversations with owner Briar. Clear communication, took the time to answer my 500+ questions, honest answers, no unnecessary upsells, competitive pricing. Great start. But what I didn't expect was how much the crew would impress me just as much. Noah, the crew lead, is someone I can't say enough about. A project this size does something to your nerves, and there were moments I was a lot to deal with. Noah handled every concern with patience and professionalism, kept me informed, and had a way of calming the chaos. The whole crew operated that way. Completed ahead of every other company's estimated timeline, on budget, and done right. TNT Electric earned every star. read more

Briar and team changed out our entire electric panel + added a 20A circuit for the treadmill in our garage easily and smoothly for a reasonable price. We used TNT Electric again after they did such an incredible job in our kitchen. We had recessed lighting put in our living room. It was so dark this winter with all the fog we had. TNT just completed a full panel upgrade and EV charger install plus some additional garage wiring items. Had a great experience with TNT Electric Co. They upgraded my outdated electrical panel and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The team showed up right on time for the service appointment. Worked efficiently and did quality, professional work.
