They did a fantastic job installing two outlets in my house--one in the ceiling of my garage for the garage door motor and another in the hallway closet to house my internet modem and router. We had purchased a Tesla. Wanted to add a Tesla charger inside the garage. The home is built around 2005. Did a yelp request and Peak was the first to contact. Only that they are bonded, guaranteed and that they pull all required permits, plans and inspections. She did not discount her estimate, which I found to be a reflection of corporate pride. Whenever someone is quick with a discount I always wonder about their integrity. Why not just give an honest price to begin with? I have no doubt that Peak is a great company and would do a great job. They still aren't the least expensive, but they do not hide what is and is not included. Ashley definitely knows electrical. 1) She ran an additional wire from a nearby outlet to power a new fixture on the front of the garage. & She got the one non-working garage fixture to work. 2) She installed a conduit surface mount from the service panel and installed a double floodlight high on the side of the house. 3) She split the one 15 amp circuit in the living room, whose circuit breaker tripped too often, into 2 and increased them to 20 amps. Called a few companies from Yelp, and Peak was the only company understanding my urgency and offered to come out ASAP (same day, within a couple hours). Ashley is extremely polite and professional. She arrived, diagnosed my electrical panel situation, and advised on next steps to get my electrical panel replaced through my insurance. She provided a quote and pictures for the insurance company right away to get things rolling. I had challenges with my insurance company, but Ashley and her team were very communicative and offered to provide any help/documentation that was needed to help me in my process to have the panel replaced. After several days and a bit of a struggle with the insurance company, which was of no fault of Peak Electric, I finally got the green light to replace my electric panel. Ashley and her team were ready to prioritize me given we had kept in contact during the week, and was ready to come in a get the work done the next business day. Peak coordinated with SMUD and Sac County to get all the permitting and disconnect/reconnect done, and I was back up and running again with a fully new and labeled electrical panel that day. Ashley even accommodated a couple of the Sac County inspector's request that she said was not typical, but she did it without hesitation to make sure I would have final sign-off on the inspection. I saw this business on Yelp and read it was an all female owned company, which I thought was pretty cool. I called and set up an appointment for an estimate. A young man named Tim came out and took pics as I shower him the project I wanted. About 4 days later I called to see when I would get the estimate. About 3 after that I got an email with an estimate but It was not exactly what I had requested and one piece was missing. I then called back and asked to speak to Tim so he could explain the estimate that was sent to me. The person on the phone tried to explain the estimate but couldn't and said Tim would call me back.
