I would highly recommend Peak Electrical Contractors for any electrical work. Small business - yes! Woman owned and operated - yes! yes! Ashley responded quickly when I requested a quote to install an EV charger. Her quote was lower than the other estimates I got. She explained in non-technical wording what she would do, and made suggestions on alternatives. Adam was a rock star! Julio was very helpful! The entire Peak Electrical team is your electrical company! Definitely going to use her company again for future electrical needs! read more

The guys replaced my 50yo main that started to fail with a new one, on a very short notice, too. They were fast, responsive, did a great job and made it a painless hands-off experience for me. I really appreciated the communication regarding the progress of the project, too. Would definitely consider rehiring them for any future electrical projects. read more

They sent out someone the next day, really helpful and knowledgeable. Fixed our wiring issue really quickly. 10/10 experience!

Ashley was terrific. When the inspector arrived he was training another inspector. He saw who did the work and said oh Ashley did this look. He opened the panel and commented on how well the work was done and how neat the panel was laid out. I hired peak two more times since. read more

Peak Electric is the genuine article! Great communication from quote to projection completion, and top rate professional service all around! Ashley and crew got our "vintage" mid-century modern home electrical system updated, up to code, and on schedule ahead of our move-in date. Peak took care of all the permits, paperwork and inspections, and handled unexpected complications calmly and with confidence. Hire them if you can! --CB read more

I was impressed with Ashley's work from Peak Electrical. She was very knowledgeable and efficient. A lot of contractors will not touch an older mobile home for electrical repair. She installed two lines from the electrical panel to our kitchen all by herself, which included going under the home, fishing the line through the walls. What I thought would be an 8 hr project was completed in 4 hrs. I have peace of mind knowing that they guarantee their work for 10 years. I plan on calling Ashley for a future job of installing a solar EV station. read more

They responded quickly, provided cost information up front, came out when they said they would, identified the issue in the first 15 minutes and fixed in another 10 minutes. Also cleaned up after themselves before they left. Thank you Ashley and Adam. read more

Peak Electric is very knowledgeable, professional, and communicates well. I reached out to Peak Electric as well as two other electricians for a quote. One did not respond to me for a week and did not even bother to come for an inspection. The other, after inspecting my electrical needs, gave me a high quote that included performing an unnecessary task. Peak Electric responded quickly, inspected the necessary tasks, and provided me with an itemized, fair quote. Ashley and her team arrived on time during the expected appointment window. They did a fantastic job installing two outlets in my house--one in the ceiling of my garage for the garage door motor and another in the hallway closet to house my internet modem and router. It was very clear that they had done this numerous times before because they immediately understood the best placement for both outlets. They completed the work in two hours and left everything clean. Ashley reviewed the tasks they had completed with me. She also communicated some potential electrical issues she came across while installing the outlets that my home inspector had failed to mention. I also appreciate that Ashley and her team were able to help me with a couple of other tasks in my house free of charge, including changing a hard-to-reach, burnt-out light bulb and quickly installing a video doorbell camera in just minutes. The garage door technician came in today and commented on Peak Electric's excellent placement of the garage outlet. I will definitely be reaching out to Peak Electric for future electrical work! read more

Peak electric was great. Bid was just a bit less than the rest, work was clean and communication was clear. Super great.

Found Peak electric on Yelp, and so happy to have met Ashley. She was so great to work with! She took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. You can tell she knows her stuff! It feels really great to have found a dependable, trustworthy electrician. read more

Ashely is a good electrician. I hired her to diagnose and repair some malfunctioning outlets, which occurred repeatedly and were worked on by other electrician before, but no permanent reliable solution. She communicated clearly, inspected thoroughly, explained to me patiently, and completed the repair as agreed. I highly recommend her. read more

Had issues with my breaker box one evening and reached out on yelp. Ashley responded quickly and was able to get to my house within 30 minutes. She quickly diagnosed the issue and throughly explained what was needed (a whole new box) and helped me with the homeowners insurance part. She was able to give me a fair price and I was scheduled ASAP. Ashley and Avery did a fantastic job and they both went above and beyond. They double checked everything and cleaned up after themselves. I will be recommending Peak Electrical to everyone I know. Thank you guys again! read more

We cannot recommend Peak Electric highly enough! After our home insurance canceled us over our outdated Zinsco panel, we needed a reliable, skilled electrician to upgrade it and Peak Electric exceeded all expectations. From the start, Ashley (the owner and lead electrician), and her colleague Vinny, were incredibly professional, hardworking, and meticulous in their work. They handled everything, including digging a trench, with great care and attention to detail. They treated our home like their own, ensuring quality work and leaving everything spotless. Beyond the panel upgrade, we had them install an EVSE charger in our garage, repair hazardous exterior outlets, and run a dedicated panel and breaker for our new hot tub. No matter the job, they delivered top-tier workmanship and thoughtful service. We've dealt with plenty of contractors before, many with questionable business practices alluded to in simple requests for quotes, or with outrageous prices, but Peak Electric was the complete opposite. They were transparent, fair, and incredibly accommodating with scheduling. A huge shoutout to Natalie, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to coordinate inspections, communicate with SMUD (even before we officially hired them!), and secure all available rebates for us. Thanks to her, we didn't have to lift a finger. It was always our pleasure communicating with her either via text, phone call, or email. If you need an electrician who is responsive, honest, and dedicated to doing things the right way, Peak Electric is the team to call. We'll be using them for any future electrical needs without hesitation! read more

Ashley with Peak Electric did an excellent job addressing our electrical issue. She immediately identified the problem, explained it to me in a way a layman like myself could understand, and fixed it quick. We called Peak Electrical Contractors for a quote on replacing our electrical sub panel and Ashley looked at the picture of our panel we sent her as well as came out the same day to give us an estimate. She gave us a great overview of everything involved in replacing the sub panel and was also able to come out the next day to complete the job. We were so pleased with her work. She is very knowledgable, competent and experienced. And after all the work was completed we are so happy she came out. We found out by asking that she was also the owner of the company which was a pleasant surprise and explains the quality of care that we received from her. I would highly recommend reaching out to her. read more

Ashley and Vinnie did amazing! They worked with us to rewire some light switches so they work better for our family's needs. I have a nearly one year old daughter, and having a remote-less and cord less fan will be so helpful since she tends to run away with remotes and grab at anything she can reach while in our arms. Ashley and Vinnie took the time to listen which was so so so helpful and did excellent and timely work at a reasonable price. read more

We had purchased a Tesla. Wanted to add a Tesla charger inside the garage. The home is built around 2005. Did a yelp request and Peak was the first to contact. Ashley was super helpful and informative in general. When she arrived onsite her experience really came in. She informed that the home and electrical box had a access box inside the house pre-placed, but also said she could actually set it at a different height at an easier height for day to day use. She and her team did a great job installing the charger and I had them install some extra motion switches in the house. Smart advice, high quality work AND competitive pricing! We are very happy with their work! We will have them back for all our electrical needs! Peak has been helpful and flexible in rescheduling due to our scheduling hiccups and their office has been happy and helpful to answer all our questions. The electrician and assistant that came to our house were Impressive - very skilled and knowledgeable! They removed old fluorescent fixtures and installed much better lighting fixtures. She worked efficiently and did a great job explaining and answering questions. I highly recommend Peak Electric! read more

They were very prompt, professional and did a great job explaining exactly what they were going to do. I was all set to pull the trigger then I got the quote. They were double the next highest bid and easily 3 times what we'd planned to spend. Unfortunately I was not able to go with them this time. 5 stars for customer service, 3 stars for price, overall a solid 4. Since writing my review I did receive a call from Ashley, expressing concern over my estimate and review. She was courteous, made no claims about other electricians quality to justify her pricing. Only that they are bonded, guaranteed and that they pull all required permits, plans and inspections. She did not discount her estimate, which I found to be a reflection of corporate pride. Whenever someone is quick with a discount I always wonder about their integrity. Why not just give an honest price to begin with? I have no doubt that Peak is a great company and would do a great job. They still aren't the least expensive, but they do not hide what is and is not included. There will be no surprises on payment day. I have moved them up to 4 stars and redacted some of my earlier comments. read more

I had to replace my whole electrical panel because it was burnt at the bus bar. THIS IS ONE GREAT COMPANY! Ashley definitely knows electrical. 1) She ran an additional wire from a nearby outlet to power a new fixture on the front of the garage. & She got the one non-working garage fixture to work. 2) She installed a conduit surface mount from the service panel and installed a double floodlight high on the side of the house. 3) She split the one 15 amp circuit in the living room, whose circuit breaker tripped too often, into 2 and increased them to 20 amps. She arrived at 8 AM and left at 3:30 PM - Everything done perfectly and warranted for 10 years. read more

Great customer service!! Top tier quality of work! Will definitely use them for all my electrical needs. Highly recommend them.

I have had two jobs with Peak Electric in the last couple months. Ashley and crew have been awesome. The first was to replace my electrical panel and relocate my powerline from above my pool, and the second was to install a low-voltage converter for a ring doorbell. I also had my 30 amp circuit for my dryer relocated and had a generator input installed and connected to my panel.. They know what they're doing and they did a great job on all of my work. Very friendly and responsive. I have my next projects with them planned out already. It doesn't hurt that they also had the most affordable price. read more

Ashley and the whole Peak Electric team are amazing! I had a power surge that fried my electric panel at my home, leaving me with no power! Called a few companies from Yelp, and Peak was the only company understanding my urgency and offered to come out ASAP (same day, within a couple hours). Ashley is extremely polite and professional. She arrived, diagnosed my electrical panel situation, and advised on next steps to get my electrical panel replaced through my insurance. She provided a quote and pictures for the insurance company right away to get things rolling. I had challenges with my insurance company, but Ashley and her team were very communicative and offered to provide any help/documentation that was needed to help me in my process to have the panel replaced. After several days and a bit of a struggle with the insurance company, which was of no fault of Peak Electric, I finally got the green light to replace my electric panel. Ashley and her team were ready to prioritize me given we had kept in contact during the week, and was ready to come in a get the work done the next business day. Peak coordinated with SMUD and Sac County to get all the permitting and disconnect/reconnect done, and I was back up and running again with a fully new and labeled electrical panel that day. Ashley even accommodated a couple of the Sac County inspector's request that she said was not typical, but she did it without hesitation to make sure I would have final sign-off on the inspection. All in all, I couldn't be happier with Ashley and her team at Peak, from coming out so quickly when I was without power, to providing everything quickly to the insurance company, to being there and communicating so well while I battled the insurance company, to finally getting my new electrical panel installed perfectly and a home with power again. Don't look any further on Yelp - you want Peak Electric to be your electrician! read more

Peak Electrical is awesome. Reached out for a quote and was scheduled immediately. By the way, their quote was the best out of all the electrical companies I reached out to and highly detailed. If, like me, you have always had a hard time finding a good electrician-give Peak Electric a call! We had a small electric job to do in our home. My mother who lives with me called 3 different electricians-not a single call back. Then I took over last week, and reached out to 5 different highly reviewed companies. Only 2 bothered to call me back. One told me they'd email an estimate-then silence. Peak responded to me right away, and scheduled an appt. 5 days later. Aaron came on time and did a fantastic job. I have 2 special needs adults in the home, so I kind of had to follow him around to make sure my girls didn't get into his tools or anything-he was very friendly and comfortable with that and I will definitely call Peak the next time I have the need for an electrician. read more

Ashley arrived to give me an estimate in the work I needed done. She quickly assessed the situation and determined she could fix my problem in about an hour. She is terrific. I strongly recomen Ashley and Peak Electric. read more

HANDS DOWN this will ALWAYS be the company I use for my electric needs! I randomly lost power to my fridge and several outlets. I requested a quote from Yelp and they were the first to reply and made it to my house within a couple of hours. After an assessment of the situation, Ashley and the team was able to identify my issue. It was extensive and costly but they helped me work with my insurance company and were able to get everything covered. When I spoke to my claims adjuster she told me that she wished every claim was submitted in such a thorough and timely way. She said it made it easier for her to process and approve. My insurance adjuster even said that she was going to use Peak because she was so impressed with the documentation, pictures and amazing communication. Ashley and her crew also did some extra work for me by rerouting an outdoor outlet and didn't even charge me for it. I even took note and admired the way she worked with her employees. She took every opportunity to train, teach and empower them. I noticed this on several different occasions as they were working in my home. I am so impressed with all aspects of the services they provided! I am a customer for life. Well done Ashley and Thank you. read more
