This place sucks! They the pedicure and are so worried about the timer they hardly massage & the rocks are literally so hot they left welts in my legs, wish I took pictures but didn't get a chance! They obviously talk about you in front of your face, and their "matching polishes" comparable to gel are thick and chunky! Came here yesterday to get a full set. They have a canopy outside set up with a sign in sheet, masks and hand sanitizer and They take your temperature. My nails were done at a table setup outside and There is a plastic divider between you and technician. Felt very comfortable getting my nails done, and they came out great ! First off, I am a certified Manicurist. When I go to a salon, I know the rules, regulations and processes for cleaning and all services. I was really hoping that with a new owner, services would be better. The prices are fair for their services and competitive with other local salons. The salon itself is clean. The owner is nice but a few of the owner's employees have bad attitudes. I strongly believe that all Manicurist should receive continued education after basic schooling. It is so important to attend trade shows and see what is new and how services should be properly given. Implements (cuticle nippers, nail cutters etc.) were in a basket not opened in front of me or in a container. Always open implements from a clean package or clean container in front of the client. Like I see in most salons, they wanted to soak my nails in water prior to a shellac manicure. THAT is a NO NO. Nail plates absorb water and expand. If you soak nails in water and then apply shellac/gel, that gel is now going to recede at the edges when the nail plate drys. This results in the gel lifting and coming off within days. No, alcohol and acetone do not instantly dry the nail after soaking in water. When I said I did not was to soak my nails, the nail tech gave me massive attitude. When she finished my shellac, she wanted to file the edges... You do not file the edges of shellac/gel once they have been cured and finished. Filing the shellac/gel will break the seal and not the nails will surely come off sooner. I don't need attitude and you should receive continued education so you know what you are doing. When receiving a pedicure, tubs or foot baths should be lined with a plastic liner. That plastic liner should be used once and thrown away. Putting the liner on and then placing the jet top over it breaks the plastic and if the jet has not been properly cleaned in between clients, now germs/bacteria's are being crossed. Also, when receiving pedicures, the sides of your toenails should not be cut. That is a huge NO NO. I always seem to have to tell all nail techs not to cut the sides of my toenails. When the sides of your toenails are cut, this causes ingrown toenails and possible infections. Overall they did an "ok" polish job. I will continue to say "Polish and all over forms of nail products are for NAILS only, NOT skin." My pedicure lasted about two weeks and was not neatly polished. My gel nails came off that same week and it was sloppy. I am very disappointed. This goes for all salons and Manicurists, please please receive continued education and know how to properly perform services. You can really hurt or injure people and it is so important to take this seriously. Be clean, be safe, be educated. Be passionate about what you do!! Care about people and their well-being!! read more

If you get acrylics and have a hard time finding a place that does good shaping and has many color options then I highly recommend going here. Prices are fair and Tony does an amazing job! I went here today with my friend and he took his time to shape so they came out very well. He was able to do marble coloring on my friends nails which is very hard to do, and ombré french on mine. He makes sure the shape is crisp, clean, and straight. He doesn't leave anything untouched. He even cleans under your nails, which a lot of nail techs always forget to do leaving acrylic powder bunched up under your nails. I have found my new nail salon thanks to Tony. Again, I highly recommend coming here and asking for Tony if you are into having nice, clean, crisp looking nails. read more

I went in to the salon yesterday to get acrylics and I got seated right away. I saw they had dip powder for 35 dollars, which I've had before. I decided I would try dip powder again because the last time I got dip powder it was faster than getting acrylic. But I got this lady who didn't really seem to know what she was doing. I asked for coffin nails and she cut them but they were still rectangular. So I pointed that out and the lady next to us, who did my nails previously and I think her name is Mimi, had to cut them for her and then the shape was good. After that she was using the dip powder like normal but it look longer than when I've gotten dip powder before. And when she was done, she wasn't shaping them correctly and the guy, I'm pretty sure his name is Tony based on reading these reviews, had to shape them for her and then the lady just painted the top coat. So she didn't really do any of the work because I think anyone could paint a base coat and then dip it in powder multiple times. And then when it was time to pay it was 45 dollars? And I feel bad when I don't tip so I just tipped 4 dollars. Kind of annoying because I planned on only spending 40 dollars (35 for the nails and 5 for a tip) but it's fine. I'll just try to book Mimi or Tony next time so that it's more worth it and I think I'll just start bringing my own powder/materials for dip powder because it would make it way cheaper I'm pretty sure. But the nails are still really pretty. read more

I'm not sure how this place got 4 stars but it is terrible. When I went in today the place need some serious work. But I ignored that sign because I really wanted a pedicure. The man working the front desk sat me in a chair and ran water which was cold I waited for some lady to finish eating before she came to help me. Then I asked her 4 times to make the water hot but she had no idea what I was saying then proceeded to spend 10 mins rolling up the sleeves of her shirt. I let her clip my nails and clean up my cuticles which she kept nipping my skin while doing. She barely scrubbed the heal of my feet before she rinsed and dried them at this point I was so irritated I told her I needed to leave and not even bother with painting my toes. They still had the nerve to charge me 22 for the pedicure and a .79 fee for using credit. First off now a days who carries cash second that's ridiculous that you make your customers pay your fee. My suggestion go somewhere nicer. Unfortunately I was limited in where I could go because not much is open on Sunday, I guess I will be doing pedicures on Saturdays now that I live out here. And to the actual nail place the wooden coat racks look horrible between the chairs. You need to add some color to the place. Also that horrible wood box that was built to cover the piping for the chairs is not very appealing to the eye. The whole atmosphere is wrong. This place strikes me as ghetto you might want to get some ideas to make the place better. Either way I won't be The owner of this place after seeing my original review left me a nasty compliment telling me that it's my fault the service was so bad and that I should have paid more for being rushed, because that's what I wanted which was not the case. Great selection of colors but I had went in with my feet feeling completely fine. Then the girl starts cutting aggressively at my skin and she cuts deep into the crevice of my toe. It hurts. She tells me I apparently have an ingrown toenail and them tries yanking it out. I pulled my leg up in pain and she said "it'll feel much better if I take it out." Girl it didn't hurt in the first place. Wouldn't I know if I had an ingrown toenail? So she ends up cutting my toenail at an angle and now it does look ingrown! I'm about to go on a cruise and my toe hurts so badly. It's red and inflamed and tmi I know but I posted a picture. Who cuts nails this short?! And at such angles? Don't be fooled by all the negative reviews! This place is awesome! The prices are super affordable especially for waxing and shellac. I've gone in several times for shellac manicures now and each time they have asked me if I wanted extra coats applied so they'd last longer--no extra cost! My shellac has never lasted longer (about 4-5 weeks) without any chips or looked better. Also, they have a ton of shellac color options, which is awesome. LOVE this place. I was looking for a good, clean place for a Shellac manicure at a reasonable price. My co-worker recommened Mission Expert Nails to me and I'm so glad she did! The place is owned by a very friendly young couple. When you walk in, they greet you with a smile and quickly get you in a chair. For the Shellac Manicure: Great Price! $22 for the first visit and $25 each time after that because it takes a little while to get the polish off. I was thrilled with how my nails looked and the polish lasted 3 weeks! I am really hard on my nails and I wash my hands a lot. I was impressed! For the Pedicure: I think it was $20. I went in this appointment with an open mind and was extremely satisfied! This couple is so cute and the husband does an excellent job! They have a different product for acrylic. It's supposed to last longer so you don't have to come back as often. My nails generally lift within a week or two and I'm going on week two and they are not lifting yet! He knew exactly the length I wanted and everything! The wife even attempted a little baby foot on my nail since I got them done for my baby shower. Needless to say, they were a hit! Chris and Van don't own this place anymore. I've had my nails done here once by the new owners but have had two not so great experiences. First, I rode my bike here once. The owner came out... Didn't let me go in and talked to the girls to see if they could squeeze me in. I was pretty irritated by this so I left. The second time, I went in, after making an appointment, and had to wait 30 minutes. So awful. And on top of that, they didn't remember that I said I wanted a full set. Then today... The reason I cannot give 5 this time is due to my mani. I am very hard on my fingernails so never get them done. However I am going on a cruise so wanted nice nails for just the week . I had a french mani done that looked fantastic. But the next day the white tips started peeling off. I now have partial french nails.
