So I can only relate my experience here and let it stand for itself. This is a former junior high, turned into a recreation complex. The pool itself is really three pools--one is the kiddie section with a sloped beach entrance and a tower with buckets that fill up and dump out water sporadically. There's a small slide for the wee ones, in the shape of a frog. The kidlets slide down the frog's tongue and giggle and squeal. Then at the other end is the diving area. Two lower diving boards and a high dive. Not so high, but high enough that every so often a kid will get up there and wuss out. I've done it once as a 10-year-old, so no judgments from me. The other pool is the landing area for the waterslides. Two small ones--big enough that there are height restrictions, but not like a waterpark kind of slide. Just enough that the younguns will have something to break up the simple pool bobbing. There are a few lap swim lanes, and there are bleachers on the north side with shade, so I'm guessing there are probably swim meets here? Then you've got one big pavilion with cement and a large umbrella with grass. Pull your chairs in and hunker down. There's also a small area with tables for your snack needs. The facility is nice. The pool is nice. The bathrooms/changing rooms area little nappy--but that's their design. Concrete floor and a trough of dribbles and drips under the urinals. Other than that, the lobby serves its purpose and is indeed air conditioned.

I didn't need to be sold, I needed a partner, collaborator and someone that can bring renderings to life. The level of professionalism, acute attention to the smallest of details, daily communication was such a breath of fresh air in a world of build fast, but 'maybe' right. Every single one of the tradesman were beyond amazing. Absolute professionals at what they do. I would watch (without trying to pry) every day and was just blown away with the level of craftsmanship. Value - the ol' "If it's too good to be true...." does NOT apply here. I felt like we were left with an end product that far outshined our modest budget. However even with that modest budget we were treated absolutely no different than someone spending 10x. The same care was applied. It's just who they naturally are as people. If you're looking to update/upgrade/build from scratch - absolutely start working with Marty and Luis. So very happy to have met and come to know them -

From the initial design and budgeting to the final walk-through, the entire team was professional, communicative, and kind. The on-site crew -- Luis, Junior, and Javier -- was respectful, friendly, and a pleasure to have around. By the end, it genuinely felt like we'd gotten to know them as friends. Carlos, who designed our yard, went above and beyond -- taking on a tough install of a pre-purchased structure and making it work perfectly with the best attitude. Every member of their team played a valuable role in bringing our new-build dirt yard to life, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

Our pool was recently resurfaced, and we had a dust storm that left a ton of dirt at the bottom of…read morethe pool. Around 11am today, the unions on our backwash assembly broke, rendering the pump and filter inoperable, all while there was quite a bit of remaining dirt from last night in the new pool. The new surface is susceptible to staining and so we couldn't afford to have the pool pump/filter be down for several days. I called many companies and got a hold of Prickly Pools. They advised that their regular distributors were closed for the long weekend, but said they'd call Leslies to see if they could locate the part, and if located could come tomorrow to complete the repair. They ended up locating the part at a Leslies close to our home, so after asking nicely for them to come today, they agreed!! The technician arrived, and advised that we didn't have much pvc left once the broken part was cut off, and that he may have to replumb a lot of additional areas. But, he found a solution using a tool so he didn't have to replumb the additional areas. I appreciated his honesty and creativity in finding a solution that saved me money. I've had a great experience, and it's nice to know that honest, timely and overall great customer service still exists. I was impressed with their offer to call around to Leslies to find the part, agreeing to repair same day at my request, and being honest by coming up with a solution to avoid a more costly replumb. Highly recommend this company!!

DJ initially kept me updated with this backordered part. Three weeks later DJ texted me saying the part would be in on Wednesday and he would be out to finish the repair on Saturday. I never heard from DJ again, completely ghosted me. I called another spa service and they came out the next day (a Thursday), diagnosed the leak (DJ's diagnosis was WRONG) and returned the following Monday and completed the repair. Would have done it on initial diagnosis, but had to get part from shop. For 3 weeks, I had a spa that was partially torn apart (I allowed this because DJ was going to return to complete repair in one week) and then wasn't even given the courtesy of telling me what was going on. I stayed home all day on the Saturday, but DJ never showed, called, or sent me a text. What I find weird is that all of our correspondence was cordial, so I'm not sure why I was just ghosted. That said, I would avoid doing business with this person.

I opted to source a circuit board online and DJ offered to walk me through the change via FaceTime (since I'm fairly handy) or come back and install it if I run into difficulty. DJ is a professional and a pleasure to work with, a breath of fresh air compared to the many fake spa techs out there. His service charge is 25-30% less than most so-called spa companies.
