When I arrived, there was only one other customer in the salon getting a pedicure. I was told to have a seat and wait for my nail technician. When she came out from the back and sat down, she immediately got to work. Unfortunately, she wasn't very friendly or welcoming and didn't even say hello, which I think is a pretty basic part of customer service. I told her what I wanted, and she got started. She was strictly business, no small talk, no effort to make me feel comfortable, just work, work, work. In fact, it was probably the fastest manicure I've ever had. What surprised me most was that there were none of the finishing touches I've come to expect from a manicure. There was no hand rinse at the end to remove the nail dust and debris, no hand massage. She did ask if I wanted lotion or cuticle oil, but it felt more like an obligation than a genuine offer. Since my hands were still covered with filing dust, I declined the lotion and oil because I would have preferred to wash my hands first. The gel manicure itself turned out fine, but the overall experience felt rushed and impersonal. I paid and left without feeling like much care had been put into the customer experience. It's been about a month now and my nails have not chipped, they're still going so that's a plus.

The space seemed clean and I noticed a lot of single-use items - good sign. I checked in on the kiosk a few minutes before my appointment, I was finally seated 15 minutes later. Luckily I was in no rush, but it is something I noticed. The techs (didn't catch their names) were nice, I mostly stared into the abyss while they did their work. Both my mani and pedi were painless (I've had issues before) and the massages were quite nice! My toes look PERFECT, and I love the way my fingernails turned out too. If I did my math right, the design ended up costing about $30. The only issue I have is that the middle of one of my nails chipped overnight and I can see another bubble (I indented in the pic) ready to pop. I've been super careful with them, since I don't usually get my nails done I've been very gentle with my hands because I'm getting used to the gel feeling, so I'm not sure why they're chipping less than 24 hours in. I decided on gel vs. polish once I arrived since I knew they'd last longer. Unfortunately I don't live in the area so I won't be able to get them fixed, I'm also not sure if that's something that they offer. Overall, I'm happy with the experience. It was a nice relaxing way to spend the afternoon.

I was just about to leave when they finally were ready to help me. it was disappointing to agree to help them out by changing my appointment time and then be left sitting there, wasting my time. I had booked online with a tech who had great reviews but was given someone else. I decided to stay anyway. I paid extra for Dazzle Dry, which is peeling after 2 days. My previous Dazzle Dry manicure, done while on vacation, lasted 10 days without chipping because it was properly applied. I feel bad because the staff seems really sweet but based on reviews and my experience, results can be inconsistent.

On my first visit, I asked for a cat eye black chrome design. I may have misunderstood what was possible, so the design wasn't quite what I had pictured, and one nail broke shortly after. They kindly called me back and redid them with a cat eye design, which I really loved. Unfortunately, within just a couple days, the new set also started breaking. Even after being fixed once for free, two more nails broke off in less than 3 days. For $80, I expected my nails to last much longer. I won't be returning, but I do really appreciate the staff's kindness and trying to fix it. And hope they can improve their technique.
