I was given a 3-day window for completion and got a call back by the end of the 2nd day to come get my car. Checking out was easy and before I knew it, I was out in the lot looking at my car. Not only were the repairs flawless, I believe my car has been washed...at least rinsed off. The overall repair, while not cheap, is immaculate. I hope to be more careful in the future and have no more fender benders, but if I do, I'm coming back to Bumper Globe!

The first time I went to pick up my car, I pointed out multiple issues where the work was incomplete, pieces were falling off my car and not secured well, or not fixed at all. The doors they replaced were not even painted completely and they left the inside of my car a disaster. They have since been completely unresponsive when I tried to follow up. I have had to go through my insurance company to hear any news. I selected them doing searches on Yelp and Google and realized when I went to pay for the work, they off discounts if you leave a 5 star review... so that is why it looks like a good option. I recommend going anywhere else in the area. They apparently require that you pay in cash, which they never told me until I was there picking up the car, and then I did not have that amount of cash in hand, told me they could only use a card with a surcharge. Absolutely would never recommend any work from them.

I picked up an appointment card, and Lady Jin said they could fix something that had come loose if I just dropped off the car for the next day (they were full up on appointments that particular day). They have a small spot to park your car and there is a slot on the left side of the right bay door where you can drop off your key for the next day. Lady Jin even encouraged me to text her with any details, and she and her husband texted back in a timely fashion. Mine was a minor job, so she only charged $20 for the part, insisting she didn't mind doing such a small, quick task for free. I remember one time going to (brother) Jin to have him certify a paper confirming that I had fixed my broken tail light and when I asked how much I owed him, he waved me off like it was a silly notion. Lady Jin said they are proud to serve the local community and want to be an affordable option. I might start making this my go-to place for regular work. She said they do most jobs (oil change, brakes, engine issues, tire rotation), though they don't do wheel alignments. If you want to support a small, family-run business that really takes care of you and your vehicle, consider Jin's!

We have been going to S&S Auto Tech (Jin's Auto) for over 9 years and they are hands down the best auto shop I have ever taken my cars. My husband and I drive a Subaru Outback and Honda CRV that are 10+ years old, so we need real work done on cars that don't have a lot of value. S&S Auto Tech are great at maintenance and big fixes. We have taken our cars for oil changes, brakes, tire repair, AC repair. rust repair, they even installed a trailer hitch I ordered off of Amazon. The Jins are accurate with time and cost estimates and provide exceptional service. They really do treat their customers like family. Got there right before they closed and said they'd call when it was ready that night. They even gave me a ride home, I was surprised to say the least. I declined because I lived up that street. Sure enough they called an hr or two later and said I could come pick it up. They showed me a few other issues, and eve topped off my oil for free since I had a slow leak. I said I'd think about it as it's an old truck and don't know if I want to put too much money into it but would definitely have them do it if I was going to commit. Their service advisors were willing to give a clear, detailed estimate over the phone, they were willing to put on customer-purchased brake pads (which I did not have, but I appreciated that they asked), and the job was done in about 4 hours. On the fifth business day, I called in the morning to see when my car would be ready for pickup. They told me it would be ready after 12PM. Then, I received an email about the fog light plug at 2PM that day (email attached for review). I thought it was odd since my car had been at their shop for 5 business days and a weekend and this was not noted previously. I refused to get it repaired, and I wanted my car back for the evening. I had to drive to DC that night. After I received my car, I realized that my bright lights did not work and my left turn signal was rapidly clicking. This made me think that something was not right with the car after I picked it up. I scheduled an appointment that evening on the day I got my car back with a different mechanic used by family and friends around the DC area for the following day. It turns out that wires on the driver's side were not reconnected after re-attaching the bumper and harness back on the car. The fog light plug was fine, but the wire to it was cut and needed to respliced for it to be connected again. There were missing bumper clips (see additional bumper clips in the list of materials) that had to be added to the bumper to secure it into place, so my bumper was not even secured to the car after the work had been done to it at the Baltimore Body Shop and Service. There was even a missing bulb from the front of my car! I attached the report from the second mechanic who had to re-plug the wires, reconnect the cut wires, replace bulb, and add the bumper clips to secure the bumper back into place. I had to pay more money to remedy the situation, since it was dangerous to operate my car (bumper could have fallen off; brights did not work; left turn signal was not working - fast clicking sound). If this task cannot be performed well, please do not offer to do it.

I accepted and received confirmation. * No one showed up at 12:45 PM either. * I continued calling and leaving messages over the next couple of hours with no response. * I ultimately left around 3:00 PM after waiting several hours. * The first time I was contacted by a real person was moments after posting a review, and the call was argumentative rather than focused on resolving the issue. Additional context (prior service): * The week prior, I had them work on two different vehicles. * One vehicle was repaired correctly. * The second vehicle only worked for a couple of hours before the issue returned. * I planned to have that second vehicle looked at again during this scheduled visit. * During that prior service: * The technician arrived approximately 3 hours late. * Even though they knew in advance they would be replacing an oxygen sensor, they did not bring the proper tools and had to leave to purchase the correct socket before completing the job. * No test drive was performed afterward to verify the repair. Key issue: This is not about job authorization. It is about: * Missed appointments * Lack of communication * No ability to reach a human representative * Inconsistent service execution and preparation Conclusion: If you rely on timely service, proper preparation, and the ability to communicate with a real person, this was not my experience. Based on what happened, the only time I received a response was after posting a negative review, which shouldn't be necessary to get basic communication.
