Always great service. Michelle is very friendly and she always takes great care of me

I had my nail fill done here for the first time and paid $90. Within just a few days, multiple nails started cracking and lifting. Now, only about 10-12 days later, another nail has broken again, even though it isn't even time for a refill yet. I took photos of every broken nail because this kept happening. For the price I paid, I expected quality work that would last much longer. What disappointed me the most was how my concerns were handled. Instead of taking responsibility for the poor workmanship, I was blamed for the problem. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience. I've been coming here throughout the years but haven't been in over a year. I made an appointment for my 10 year old daughter & I and when I say I'm on a budget, it's an understatement but we're getting ready to travel for Spring Break & I wanted our nails done before Easter. We were just having a spa mani/pedi, no extras. The woman doing my nails seemed to be in a big rush. She tried to give me a heel treatment but I denied, explaining I'm on a budget so she knew & said she understood. She didn't even file my full nail, only the top. Very rushy! I read the "menu" posted (see photo) & asked for the cost stating, "$83 right?" She then went on to say that since my daughter is 10, I would have to pay the same price as adults. For her. I said to her, "the sign doesn't give an age. It says kids & my daughter is a kid." She said, "oh that is for under 10." I replied, "she is 10 and under." The lady replied, "that is for 9 and under." How convenient! Such poor business practice! I told her, her sign should say that then! So one does not come in expecting to pay a certain price & then be price gouged. She said, "all my regular customers that come here know this." I said, "well I don't know so again, you should clarify that so ALL your customers know!" I'm sure she does this on purpose specifically so she can pull this kind of crap. Needless to say, she just lost a tip & my business. I will never come back! Horrible business practice, poor customer service & very unprofessional. I believe her name is Tina. Friendly lady up until this point. Do better Tina! read more

I went in for a basic acrylic set yesterday with one color and the man did a horrible job. The nails are chunky not even cleaned up and they're not even the same size or and they're not smooth at all. I paid 60 dollars for something that looks like it could be ten dollars from a beginner. Horrible salon and nail techs. read more

I drive down from Downtown Los Angeles and it's completely worth the trip. I'm not talking about the cold wine and incredibly friendly staff either. Avoid this place. I had a pedicure today, and I'm never going back. The first issue came from a light color OPI nail polish I chose that was watered down. After the nail tech painted my toe nails, I could still see my natural nail color underneath the nail polish, I brought this to her attention. Instead of removing the nail polish, she came back with a burgundy nail polish color, instead of removing the already applied nail polish and top coat. Prior to that, I asked her to please even out the length of the toe nails because the toes had a significant difference in length, they are still uneven. I also had to ask the nail tech to scrub my heels longer than 5 seconds(not exaggerating). Then, while my feet were still wet, she applied lotion on my feet and legs. The nail tech was too busy talking with her head turned to give the proper detail and attention for an adequate pedicure. During my pedicure, the hair removal tech thought it was wise to wax my eyebrows in the middle of me having my feet done. She was upset when I told her I still have hair above my eye lid and my eyebrows weren't even. She messed up the natural arch shape of my eyebrows to make one of them round, and left the other one arched. Im extremely disappointed, and I will never give this place my money ever again. read more

I have been having Michelle do my nails for many years. I have followed her to every salon that she's worked in. She is without a doubt a perfectionist and an incredible professional with great taste in color & design. She is honest and sweet. Most importantly her solid sense of golden proportion is incredible and meticulous with her consistent shaping and attention to detail. She never leaves anything messy or anything to pick. I cannot go anywhere else and be satisfied with my acrylic nails that need to be filled every 2 weeks. She has also done powder on my nails as well as give me several pedicures. She gave me a really natural cool suggestion today and I think it's my favorite time I've ever had my nails done by her. There is no way to make my hands look younger LOL She suggested a pink and white ombre .. check it out ! & thanks Michelle I LOVE THEM YOU ARE THE BEST! read more

I live in calabasas and because I'm brown Tina the owner treated me like absolute crap! Called ahead to make an appointment with Tracy, the gentleman who answered the phone told me to be there in 5 min. When I got there I told them I was there for an appointment with Tracy - I was told to pick a color. Tracy was working on another client, I was then guided to the pedicure station and was given a random male manicurist, despite my request. Fifteen minutes into my appointment Tracy finished up with her client and went onto work on a walk -in client. What is really annoying is the fact that I called in ahead of time and was prepared to wait for Tracy's next available appointment. read more

Waited with my feet in water for 30 minutes with no acknowledgement. They should've advised on timing issues when I made the appt or walked in for my appt. The pedicure itself was just ok. No lotion used or proper scrub-very basic, even for a normal pedicure. They also did not come back to me to check in, so I left my payment on the counter. Won't return read more

Firstly my appt. with Michelle was not on the books for the right day. So they had Typhoon do my fill and gel polish. After removing my previous polish, he did not send me to the washroom to wash hands but proceeded to fill over what had been done previously. He did a pretty good job except for the fact that 7 days later the polish started peeling away on both my thumbs. Also, all other shops I've been to have you wash and they apply oil to the cuticles at the end. He was a nice and friendly person but his skills fell short. I will not go back there. TK Nails has been the best nail salon I have ever been to! They do a great job every time and my manicures always last until my next visit. Be sure to ask for Tina when booking an appointment. She's the best nail tech and does a great job! I always do gel with tips and my nails come out looking perfect every time. The designs she has done is also amazing and my nails are still very healthy!! The prices are also very reasonable for the Calabasas area. I've been to other nail salons charging almost double the price for worse quality. TK nails is my go to when I want a good deal with good quality!! Recently I've also been very pleased with the work Taffin has done! He does a great job and pays very close attention to detail! I'm always satisfied with the result! Update : Taffin / Typhoon does an amazing job and I've been coming back for him a lot recently! He does amazing designs and my nails always look great! Very reliable!! read more

So annoyed. Came in and got not that great of a manicure, as you can tell by the pics they started the paint super low down, it looks like the nails already grew out. One of my nails fell off the next day and I came in to get it fixed. The day after, another one fell off just when I was driving...didn't even feel like coming back at that point. Wasted too much time coming back again. read more

Had been to this place a long time ago to do my nails before a friend's wedding. Found myself in the area again and decided to get some much needed pampering with a spa manicure & pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure was excellent. She was very attentive, kind and polite (though she accidentally poked my finger toe with the little scissors which did hurt). The younger asian guy that did my french manicure did a terrible job. I don't consider myself too picky but it did suck. I like doing my nails at home and I think I could have done it better myself. I was tired and didn't feel like arguing so I just waited for my nail polish to dry and left. Manicure starting bubbling right away, nails had a bunch of skin around and just looked like something rushed and that I could have easily done at home. Other than enjoying the feet massage the pedicure lady gave me I left very disappointed. read more
