I've been coming here throughout the years but haven't been in over a year. I made an appointment for my 10 year old daughter & I and when I say I'm on a budget, it's an understatement but we're getting ready to travel for Spring Break & I wanted our nails done before Easter. We were just having a spa mani/pedi, no extras. The woman doing my nails seemed to be in a big rush. She tried to give me a heel treatment but I denied, explaining I'm on a budget so she knew & said she understood. She didn't even file my full nail, only the top. Very rushy! I read the "menu" posted (see photo) & asked for the cost stating, "$83 right?" She then went on to say that since my daughter is 10, I would have to pay the same price as adults. For her. I said to her, "the sign doesn't give an age. It says kids & my daughter is a kid." She said, "oh that is for under 10." I replied, "she is 10 and under." The lady replied, "that is for 9 and under." How convenient! Such poor business practice! I told her, her sign should say that then! So one does not come in expecting to pay a certain price & then be price gouged. She said, "all my regular customers that come here know this." I said, "well I don't know so again, you should clarify that so ALL your customers know!" I'm sure she does this on purpose specifically so she can pull this kind of crap. Needless to say, she just lost a tip & my business. I will never come back! Horrible business practice, poor customer service & very unprofessional. I believe her name is Tina. Friendly lady up until this point. Do better Tina! read more

The nails are chunky not even cleaned up and they're not even the same size or and they're not smooth at all. I paid 60 dollars for something that looks like it could be ten dollars from a beginner. Avoid this place. I had a pedicure today, and I'm never going back. The first issue came from a light color OPI nail polish I chose that was watered down. After the nail tech painted my toe nails, I could still see my natural nail color underneath the nail polish, I brought this to her attention. Instead of removing the nail polish, she came back with a burgundy nail polish color, instead of removing the already applied nail polish and top coat. Prior to that, I asked her to please even out the length of the toe nails because the toes had a significant difference in length, they are still uneven. I also had to ask the nail tech to scrub my heels longer than 5 seconds(not exaggerating). Then, while my feet were still wet, she applied lotion on my feet and legs. The nail tech was too busy talking with her head turned to give the proper detail and attention for an adequate pedicure. During my pedicure, the hair removal tech thought it was wise to wax my eyebrows in the middle of me having my feet done. She was upset when I told her I still have hair above my eye lid and my eyebrows weren't even. She messed up the natural arch shape of my eyebrows to make one of them round, and left the other one arched. Im extremely disappointed, and I will never give this place my money ever again. read more

I have been having Michelle do my nails for many years. I have followed her to every salon that she's worked in. She is without a doubt a perfectionist and an incredible professional with great taste in color & design. She is honest and sweet. Most importantly her solid sense of golden proportion is incredible and meticulous with her consistent shaping and attention to detail. She never leaves anything messy or anything to pick. I cannot go anywhere else and be satisfied with my acrylic nails that need to be filled every 2 weeks. She has also done powder on my nails as well as give me several pedicures. She gave me a really natural cool suggestion today and I think it's my favorite time I've ever had my nails done by her. She literally made me pay for my service ahead of time while implying that "people like me" always try to get free service. Called ahead to make an appointment with Tracy, the gentleman who answered the phone told me to be there in 5 min. When I got there I told them I was there for an appointment with Tracy - I was told to pick a color. Tracy was working on another client, I was then guided to the pedicure station and was given a random male manicurist, despite my request. Fifteen minutes into my appointment Tracy finished up with her client and went onto work on a walk -in client. What is really annoying is the fact that I called in ahead of time and was prepared to wait for Tracy's next available appointment. read more

Firstly my appt. with Michelle was not on the books for the right day. So they had Typhoon do my fill and gel polish. After removing my previous polish, he did not send me to the washroom to wash hands but proceeded to fill over what had been done previously. He did a pretty good job except for the fact that 7 days later the polish started peeling away on both my thumbs. Also, all other shops I've been to have you wash and they apply oil to the cuticles at the end. He was a nice and friendly person but his skills fell short. I will not go back there. Had been to this place a long time ago to do my nails before a friend's wedding. Found myself in the area again and decided to get some much needed pampering with a spa manicure & pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure was excellent. She was very attentive, kind and polite (though she accidentally poked my finger toe with the little scissors which did hurt). The younger asian guy that did my french manicure did a terrible job. I don't consider myself too picky but it did suck. I like doing my nails at home and I think I could have done it better myself. I was tired and didn't feel like arguing so I just waited for my nail polish to dry and left. Manicure starting bubbling right away, nails had a bunch of skin around and just looked like something rushed and that I could have easily done at home. Its a bit of a drive for me but after trying other "great" techs and getting poked and with I satisfying nails I knew I had to go the distance.
