Unfortunately I have to change my review for Deja Nail Spa. Both manicurists I used to use (Kimberly and Tu) are gone and I've tried 3 different manicurists and none can give me what I ask for. I got gel extensions, and they popped off within 2 weeks. So I went back and got a gel manicure... it looked awful, the actual application was so bad. I took a few months away and went back for gel extensions... I asked for oval nails and they gave me almond. They're way too thin. They didn't clean my nails before putting the extensions on over it. I need a new spot! read more

I did reach out immediately after I saw they added a credit card fee, the women on the phone admitted that she should have a Told me and would refund the charge. She never did. I just got my credit card statement. For two gel mani pedi treatment for me and my 12 year old daughter - 193.64 was charged to my credit card statement. read more

I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. I've given this salon multiple chances because it's convenient for me. Each time, I was told they could do my nails and toes at the same time, but that has never happened. The salon is clearly understaffed, yet they continue to tell every customer who walks in or calls that they're available. You should expect to wait at least 45 minutes longer than scheduled. It's frustrating and misleading. Not a relaxing experience and will definitely not be returning. read more

Higher Recommend it. My place to go for manicure and pedicure. The staff super nice. The service is great. The atmosphere is relaxing. Super clean place. Helen and her team are awesome. This place is my to go-to for some self-care. Prices are reasonable. I was visiting for the weekend and found this new location through Yelp. They opened about 2 weeks ago! This shares the same center as the CVS, so there's plenty of parking. Upon entry, the location is very spacious and clean. Everyone here was so friendly! Unlike some other salons, I didn't feel rushed or pressured for additional services from anyone working here. Since it is a new salon, all the polish colors were brand new bottles, the massage chairs were new and comfortable, and it was nice, quiet, and relaxing. I got my gel manicure by Vanessa and pedicure by Tammy. I loved both services - they included using hot towels for both services, which was a nice touch that I typically don't see at other salons. I believe the pedicure was around $35 and gel manicure was around $40. Very happy with the results and would come back! They accept credit card for an additional 3-4% charge, but they do not accept Venmo or Zelle. read more

Service is great, Helen is very kind and accommodating but since TU is no longer working there. I found no purpose to go there again. Last time I went, I spent 2hours to get a mani-pedi. My nails looked horrendous! They were uneven, some had big glops on top, it was just terrible, nothing compared like when TU was doing my nails. TU was the best nails tech I ever had, and it's a shame they kept on telling you he's coming back when they knew he wasn't. It's very disappointing especially for the price they charge. read more

My daughter and came here for the first time. We got the happy hour pedicure. ($45). It included the callus remover, massage and gel color. It was really nice. They use a scrub and rub it with a slice of orange. Quite interesting. They actually opened a bag of tools in front of me, I'm a hygienist and it looked like it was actually processed! We went to another place earlier and they were too busy. I'm glad we came here. This place was nice and quiet. Pleasant music playing, a very relaxing place. We will definitely be back! read more

I was looking for an appointment for a Gel pedicure and GelX for my hands in the neighborhood. I saw that it had good reviews and thought why not? When I got there, I walked in to no one in there. No music, no sound whatsoever. Super eerie. I look into the opposite side of the salon, and there are all the artists on their phones and they look super pissed and annoyed that I'm there. Great start. One of them comes up and is actually very sweet and tells me to sign in. After I sign in, I tell her that I wanted GelX (I normally get this, on a regular basis). She immediately says no and says builder gel, that my nails couldn't handle GelX. I wanted to say no and tell her I wanted GelX, but I felt very pressured to do the other. I figured I could get the same results just with a different method, so I hesitantly said yes. I get brought to the chair, where one person will be doing my pedicure, and the other the builder gel on my hands. The technician doing my toes has the worst attitude in the world, doesn't even say hello, doesn't tell her name or ask for mine. Never once looked me in the eye. She treated me as if I was wasting her time and threw laminated specials up on my lap. I should've left then! She starts doing my toes, and doesn't ask once what shape I would like. I came in with a square shape, so I assumed she would do the same. She ended up rounding my toes unevenly, they look awful! She also cut me with the buffing sponge for my cuticles multiple times, all over my feet. I kept wincing and she would just grab my foot harder and move it back. She kept huffing and puffing and wouldn't give me clear instructions, just would get upset when I wouldn't do exactly what she was thinking. I've never been treated that rudely while getting a service done. For my manicure, she started putting extension tips on my fingernails and then had 2 walk ins. Once she puts the extensions on my fingers, she started cutting one and said "this short?" I never once mentioned how long I wanted them. I wanted a medium almond, and she cut them so short it looks like there's no extension. I have literal nubs on my hands. She leaves me with all the extensions on my fingers, unsure of what to do. During the other two appointments she takes while I'm sitting there, there are two other employees just sitting on their phones the entire time not helping at all. She takes the two appointments and comes back to me, almost an hour after. The lady who did my pedicure didn't even tell me she was finished, she just grabbed everything and walked away. I can immediately tell by the shaping of the manicure, it's too late. It was wayyyy too short (I have short and wide nail beds so I need to have longer nails). My two hands look like different shapes, and the builder gel has a dip in the middle of the nail in EVERY nail. I was planning on not tipping. I thank them, trying to just keep the peace and get the hell out of there. The energy was so bad in that place. When I go to pay, she immediately asks me "tip?" and again, Im right in front of everyone, employees and clients, and did not want to cause a scene. I honestly should have just been transparent and told them I wasn't going to pay or tip, because the experience was that bad. It was rushed and somehow I came out two hours later than my appointment time. I left nearly crying, my nails feel so gross and look awful and I have cuts all over my feet. She left me with dust all over my nails and didn't even wipe it off or tell me to go wash my hands. I would never ever go back and honestly, I want a refund. I normally do my own nails because I'm low income, and I really wanted to treat myself. I wish I hadn't. I wasted $130 I would gladly pay somewhere else where I could get a good experience, my time, and a drive to the salon. I'm so pissed. read more

Just opened at Kanan and Lindero in Sapiente parking lot! Vegan gel manicure (no machine or black light) fantastic! Tons of beautiful colors to choose from. Truly affordable, staff is lovely and owner Helen professional and kind. Dry in 5 minutes and lasts 2 weeks. Tons of easy parking and brand new fresh and clean! As a professional with very little time, they were fast and conscientious about the work. Highly recommend you give this nail salon a try. read more

I decided to splurge and get a pedicure and gel x manicure for graduation. I asked for the same color, and the colors were completely different shades. One had sparkles and was a light purple, while the other had no sparkles and was a dark purple. It's fine, although I wish they had told me before applying the polish to acknowledge it! I wouldn't recommend using their online scheduling. I scheduled an apt to have my toes and nails done at the same time, and it showed they had tons of people. When I got there, they had two workers who were busy and tried to suggest I had the wrong time, although I showed them the confirmation. They tried to get started, but that meant leaving cold towels on my legs for 30 minutes with nothing else. When I went to leave, the lady told me that I could go ahead and put my boots back on. When I got home a few hours later, I took my boots off and I saw that the polish wasn't dry and it all smushed. The gel x nails were put on poorly so that they didn't stay on long at all. The part near the cuticle was lifting on the first day. They offered to fix my toes, but I had no time before my graduation. I'm sure they will get better, and it may have been an off day, but money is tight, and splurging $100 for a poor pedicure and gel x manicure is not fun. I regret spending my graduation money on them and won't make the mistake again read more

Great salon! I really liked the Dazzle Dry, as it stays on longer than any manicure I ever had. However, I would not recommend it more than a few times, as it left a glue residue and ruined my real nails. I'm not sure how it is called vegan or more natural because my nails are worse than they were with regular polish. I think it's fine for an event or once in a while, but I would not recommend doing it repeatedly, as it was worse for my nails than acrylics. I really liked my pedicure. I would recommend the salon, but be careful with the Dazzle Dry to use repeatedly. read more

Did the dazzle dry today and love it! I'm hopeful that it will last 10 days. Tu did my fingers. TBH I can't remember who did my toes, but both were wonderful. My feet were a mess from being at summer camp for a month, and they did an awesome job of cleaning them up. I'll definitely be going back! read more

Usually when I'm sitting in it processing, he's making fun of me the whole time, he came home and didn't even notice. This stuff was not sticky, and I looked so natural, I slept in it, and it didn't even smell in the morning I realized oh yeah, I got a spray tan. I need to shower this stuff off and I was definitely dark by then , so I jumped in the shower and the color was absolutely perfect super natural. I didn't look embarrassing and slightly orange like usual. Usually the first day everyone can tell I got a spray, and I usually have to wait a day or two for it to mellow down and then it looks really good, but this one looks good the very next morning, right after I showered, everyone is complementing how natural and glowy I look. Like I just got back from Cabo or something fantastic like that. Jen has a great personality, she makes you feel very comfortable and her space is adorable. She is fast and on time and knowledgeable in what she does, she also offers full body waxing. I'll definitely be going back for more sprays and I'll definitely be sending friends !!
