I've been going to KT Nails for over 15 years and have always had a good experience until recently. Since the new management took over, appointments no longer seem to matter. The last two times I've had scheduled appointments, they've taken walk-ins right before I arrived and asked me to wait. Today, I showed up early for my 1:00 appointment and was told to come back in an hour after they seated multiple walk-ins. As a long-time client, it's really disappointing. Worst manicure ever! The girl raced through it like she had somewhere to go and there was only one other person in the place that was being helped. I get a regular manicure and they had a terrible small selection of regular polish. Polish started peeling off the next day! Was a great nail salon with the previous owner Tony but I would not go back. read more

I won't be back. Here is why: 1. My appointment was for 4:30. They were running late. A nail technician finally took me at 4:45. Only she wasn't ready to help me yet - she was still finishing up with another customer. This is truly unacceptable. 2. My nail technician's hands shook a lot. I tried to ignore it at first, but the shaking was bothering me so much that another technician had to take over the job. As a customer I should have been given a choice of whether I want to have my nails cut and colored by someone with a severe hand shaking condition. 3. They don't take credit cards. Cash, Venmo or Zelle only. I didn't enjoy my visit. There are many great salons in this area and this isn't one of them. read more

Tried this spot on a whim today, and am so happy I did! It's affordable, clean, and staff is friendly. I got a pedicure which was $25. This includes a massage, scrub, and hot towel. My technician was gentle, professional, and leg massage was very relaxing. Chairs are comfy too. I felt like they took their time with each step, and my pedi looks great. The only thing to note is that they don't have a lot of regular polish. If you want a trendy color- bring your own! Massive gel color selection though. read more

I wanted this place to work. It is close to my house. I've been here three times for basic mani pedis with fine results but I came back with the thought that as they knew me they would learn what I like. I'm going to a wedding with a pedicure I could have done myself. I've never been left feeling less valuable as a customer. The conversation was all about making a Zelle payment before they even started the work and then repeated requests to go to the atm or give them a cash tip when the WiFi was sketchy. Terrible!!!!! I came in the guy told me 10 min ended up waiting almost 40 min!! Once I got seated and started they moved me to someone else. Then the guy didn't really seem to know what he was doing. I showed him a pic of the shape nail I wanted and he completed did them pointy and really not anything like the oicture I asked him to not make then as pointy and more almond and he tried but they came out like this lollllll!! This is not the first bad experioce I've had here but I def do not recommend. Even the gel was not applied correctly it was all of my finger! Looks like a 4 yr old did it lol DONT RECOMMEND!!! read more

This isn't my regular salon but I was in the area and desperately needed a pedicure. I didn't call ahead, and luckily the salon was fairly empty so I was seen right away. I usually bring my own polish for pedicures but they do have a nice variety available to use. My spa pedicure was very nice, the tech took his time to clean my nails and do the massage. He was very gentle, nice and offered me water. The pedicure came out very nice, unfortunately my nails broke so they're a bit shorter than I prefer. When I asked to pay I was told $22...it's really not a big deal but if that's the price then it should be changed on their menu to reflect the change. I liked the convenience of this pedicure and that the salon is so close to home but I'll stick to my regular place where the price is set read more

I came here for a pédicure with my boyfriend after seeing the great reviews & it's close to home. As someone who doesn't like having her feet touched I am so pleasantly surprised. After my original review, the owner personally called me to apologize and assured me they wanted to make things right. I genuinely appreciated that conversation. Unfortunately, within days of my appointment, my gel manicure had already begun chipping, and my natural nails had been filed so thin that they were breaking. I sent photos, and the owner invited me back in. Before I could return, my family experienced an unexpected loss, so my plans changed. Once I was back in town, I reached out to let the owner know I was available to come in, but I never received a response. At that point, I honestly assumed the offer to make things right had simply fallen through. I ended up booking an appointment with Sonia, and I am so glad I did. Sonia completely changed my experience. She listened to everything that had happened, apologized even though none of it was her fault, and took incredible care with my nails. She explained how she wanted to help my natural nails recover, paid attention to every detail, and made me feel like a valued customer again. What impressed me most was that Sonia even offered me a discount out of her own pocket because she said she represented the salon and wanted me to leave with a better experience. She absolutely did. Customer service isn't just about fixing mistakes--it's about making people feel cared for. While I was disappointed that I never heard back after reaching out to the owner, Sonia stepped in without hesitation and accomplished exactly what the salon had originally promised. I've been getting my nails done at KT Nails for a while now and they consistently do a great job both with gels and regular manicures and pedicures. More then the quality of their work I appreciate how kind and honest they are. It's a mom and pop shop who work hard to provide a quality service and treat their clients well. Tony the owner is one of the nicest people. I've heard rude clients act in ways I'd never put up with but he treats them with the same respect he treats all his clients. I love this salon because in addition to doing mani/pedi, Shellac gels, and waxing, they have the BEST nail painters in town!! I've been to so many places where the manicurists paint on your skin or simply do a sloppy job, especially when painting reds or dark colors. The manicurists here always do a great paint job and that's worth everything! Also all the manicurists seem good and they are flexible with your time schedule so this makes it a convenient and easy place to go. read more

K&T Nails in Calabasas is the nail salon I have been looking for since I began having my nails done at age 25. The classy men and women who work there are led by Tony, the owner. After only a few visits, don't be surprised if he knows your name. The ladies talk to their clients, not each other. I have had my mani and pedi done by six different employees, each has their own style yet all are exceptional. Did I mention the prices are great, the parking is ample. Enjoy! read more
