My nails came out great, and I'm really happy with how they look. Simon and Miley are both talented artists. However, my issue was with the pricing and how the situation was handled. Before they started, I explained to both of them exactly what I wanted. They gave me a booklet with their services and prices, and I specifically pointed to the "Additional Specials" section. I told them I wanted the $7 French tip on my toes and the $7 nail design, and they both said okay. Toward the end, after both my toes and fingernails were finished, I even said, "This is a great design for $7, thank you!" That's when Miley told me the design was actually $20, not $7. I showed her the booklet THEY had given me, which clearly showed the $7 price, and she told me those were their old prices. I found that extremely frustrating because I had specifically pointed to the booklet when explaining what I wanted. If those prices are outdated, customers should not be given that booklet, or they should be told about the price difference before the service is performed. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was the tipping situation afterward. I was asked about tipping, and Simon specifically asked me to check whether I had sent her tip through Zelle. I wanted to tip through my card instead because Zelle was a hassle, especially since I was already annoyed about the unexpected price change. Overall, my nails turned out great, but I personally will not be returning because of how the pricing and communication were handled. My advice if you come here: ask exactly how much EVERYTHING will cost before they start, even if the price is written in the booklet they give you. I would also recommend writing down the quoted prices in your Notes app so there is no confusion at the end. read more

I really like Coco Nail & Spa, mainly because it is always very clean and well staffed! The place is really nice, in a good location, and the shopping center where it is has plenty of parking. The staff is friendly, and I've had a good experience most of the time. My last visit I went out of my comfort zone and got designs on my nails and they turned out beautiful! Tammy is really good, super careful, and very detail oriented. I've been getting Bio gel manicures for a couple of months now and my nails have gotten longer because they don't break anymore, I highly recommend trying it! read more

This is my go to spot for me when I have time for a pedi! It's close by and I recommend calling first instead of walking in. I've noticed walk ins for the most part have to wait a while. Also there's like a monitor that if you put in your phone number everytime you go you end up with something free. I went to Coco Nails and paid $70 for basically nothing. All they did was change my nail polish. This is my second time experience they don't listen to you.No real service, no care, no attention. The entire experience felt disorganized and rushed. It honestly seems like they only try to push customers into the most expensive services, but in my experience, they don't know how to properly deliver those services or treat customers professionally. What worries me the most is hygiene. I personally started having an infection shortly after my appointment, which makes me very concerned about how tools and stations are cleaned. I truly believe this place should be looked into by the health department. Customer service was terrible. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. Communication was also a big issue.if you're running a business with many English-speaking customers, basic communication should not be this difficult. We made an appt for 3 of us on a Wednesday at 4pm. We showed up and they are kinda busy. They immediately put me in a chair fill the pedicure water with lukewarm water and I'm waiting. My friend they put in a chair and she's waiting with lukewarm water as well. 20 minutes go by with our feet in lukewarm water and Tammy says, "Can you please talk quieter..." Now maybe because we're the only people of color in this establishment she felt we were being too loud or maybe we're not the ideal client. Either way But we've been sitting now for 25 minutes & we're trying to entertain ourselves since they have yet to start on our pedicures. 30 minutes have gone by now and the water for my feet is freezing and I ask for more water and she says it's too full we cant add more. Hanna comes over soon after and starts my feet. All in all, this place is giving me very, uncomfortable feelings & make you wait energy. My wife told them it's a real credit card and to please run it for payment they refused and said we don't take EBT. It has a chip on the front of the card like a credit card but had a skin. All they had to do was swipe the card and they would have seen it was real or look at the back where it said B of A. How disgusting for them to do what they just did and shame on them how they embarrassed a customer like that and assumed that they were being handed an EBT card. read more

He messed up on one nail and tried to do it over only he didn't wait for it to dry and painted over it making a huge lumpy mess. Everything had smeared when I went home and I was going to a wedding the next day and had no time to do it over. For a $30 pedicure there are plenty of places that do a better job. Ive come here a lot, it's very close to my house, it's been quite clean whenever I've been in, & my nails are generally done well. The issue is with the mocking & making fun of customers. I've had it in small doses before, & witnessed it happen to others, but today I went in with my husband & the amount of embarrassment I felt at how the technician was laughing at me & being very dramatic at how "bad" my feet were, I will never come back. For clarification, it had been 4 weeks since my last pedicure as I had fallen & hurt my leg in that time. So I guess unless you're getting your nails done every week, be prepared to be shamed. This was my 6th time coming to Coco Nail & Spa. I came here because it was close by and figured they couldn't do any wrong. (And every time they ask me if it's my first time there hah) I went in for Biogel with tips (which I have done 2 times before here) and I think they probably were crunched for time, so they LIED and said they only do acrylic with tip. I responded and said "but you have done it before? " and then they proceeded to do my nails with biogel and tips. But man was she rushing because they was hurting my fingers and just splattering gel on and not checking the shape or lumps. This told me she probably had another customer coming. Sure enough someone came in and was waiting for the nail tech I was with. Basically got my nails done in 40 min and they look awful. I paid, left a nice tip and now calling another salon for tomorrow to fix these nails. Seems like they won't miss me and don't cater to possible new clientele anyway. read more
