I chose them because of the positive reviews and was expecting a careful, professional brow service. My appointment was with Riley, who I understand is also the manager, which made my experience even more disappointing. There was no consultation whatsoever before she started. Riley never asked how I normally wear my brows, what shape I wanted, or whether I wanted my brow hairs trimmed. My brows were naturally full with longer hairs, and she trimmed them extremely short and tweezed them, completely changing the look of my eyebrows. If she had simply asked me beforehand, I would have made it very clear that I wanted to keep my brows full and did not want the hairs cut this short. The service is listed as approximately 20 minutes, but I was in the chair for about 8 minutes. The entire appointment felt rushed, especially for a first-time client. I left extremely disappointed, and now I have to wait for my eyebrows to grow back. For a first-time client, I believe there should have been a consultation before making such a noticeable change to my brows--especially when the person providing the service is also the manager. Sadly, this was not the experience I expected after reading the reviews, and I would not return for eyebrow services.

I've been an incredibly loyal customer at Nail 45 for the past five years, visiting every 2-3 weeks and always seeking out my favorite nail technician, Sam. His exceptional service, along with his talent and meticulous attention to detail, has consistently made my visits enjoyable. Unfortunately, I recently encountered a disappointing experience with the owner that I feel compelled to share. During my latest visit, there was a significant mix-up with my appointment. Despite being punctual and having confirmed my booking, the owner insisted that I had the wrong date. This accusation was surprising, especially considering my impeccable attendance over the years--I have never missed an appointment or arrived late. I approached the situation with politeness and calmly explained how essential it was for me to have my nails done that day. Rather than addressing my concerns or offering a solution, the owner became defensive and raised her voice in her language, which felt quite unprofessional and disheartening. Thankfully, Sam graciously stepped in and managed to squeeze me into his schedule, for which I am grateful. However, the fact that the owner did not take responsibility for the mistake and instead escalated the situation is troubling. I even thanked her three separate times before leaving, thinking perhaps she was just having an off day, but she never acknowledged my gratitude. I sincerely hope that for the sake of loyal customers like myself, the owner reflects on this experience and understands the vital importance of good customer service. Making excuses and shifting blame will only serve to alienate dedicated clients. While I truly value the excellent work that Sam provides and would love to continue my visits, this recent incident has left me feeling uncertain about returning in the future. read more

Title: Fantastic Nail Salon (except for one person)! I first visited Nail 45 for a gel manicure and pedicure in 2021, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and the staff was friendly. The salon is clean and well-maintained, creating a relaxing environment. The nail technicians are not only skilled but also take the time to understand exactly what I want. They pay great attention to detail and ensured that my nails looked flawless. Nevertheless, during my last two visits, I've been attended to by a nail technician named Justin. Unfortunately, I must express that he lacks the friendliness exhibited by other technicians and tends to be rather forceful. Justin has a habit of bending my fingers in uncomfortable directions, resulting in considerable pain. Additionally, he is the only person who has accidentally cut me on multiple occasions. It's worth noting that when performing GelX, Justin often leaves the nails uneven and crooked. His artistic and polishing skills appear to be somewhat lacking, and after spending a significant amount of money today, I find myself dissatisfied with the outcome. In fact, I feel embarrassed to display my fingers due to the results. Despite my overall appreciation for this nail salon, I felt compelled to rate it 4 out of 5, primarily due to my experiences with Justin. I chose not to complain or cause a disturbance because of my fondness for the salon, but I believe improvements in Justin's approach could significantly enhance the overall customer experience. read more

This is one of the worst places to get your nails done. The service and the individuals doing your nails are extremely rude. They did acrylics for which looked nothing like the picture that i showed them, and the color i wanted was a simple transparent color. Not to mention the attitiude anytime i asked for a small change and mentioning how im taking too long to decide. Overall wouldnt recommend. And to add once my review was posted the young man thats has Blonde highlights that did my hair came and yelled at me in front of the whole establishment for writing about what happened and after I quietly asked why he didnt tell me he couldnt make my acrylics the way i asked he continued to scream and tell me to take my review off. Hence the edit to my previous review. So in short if your looking to get horrible service, constantly laughing in your face, wrong color match, and to get yelled at on a Saturday I wouldnt suggest going here. read more

Update: I wanted to…read morecome back and update my original review because I believe it's important to recognize people who truly care about their clients. After my original review, the owner personally called me to apologize and assured me they wanted to make things right. I genuinely appreciated that conversation. Unfortunately, within days of my appointment, my gel manicure had already begun chipping, and my natural nails had been filed so thin that they were breaking. I sent photos, and the owner invited me back in. Before I could return, my family experienced an unexpected loss, so my plans changed. Once I was back in town, I reached out to let the owner know I was available to come in, but I never received a response. At that point, I honestly assumed the offer to make things right had simply fallen through. I ended up booking an appointment with Sonia, and I am so glad I did. Sonia completely changed my experience. She listened to everything that had happened, apologized even though none of it was her fault, and took incredible care with my nails. She explained how she wanted to help my natural nails recover, paid attention to every detail, and made me feel like a valued customer again. What impressed me most was that Sonia even offered me a discount out of her own pocket because she said she represented the salon and wanted me to leave with a better experience. She absolutely did. Customer service isn't just about fixing mistakes--it's about making people feel cared for. While I was disappointed that I never heard back after reaching out to the owner, Sonia stepped in without hesitation and accomplished exactly what the salon had originally promised. She restored my confidence in coming back, and she deserves to be recognized for that. If you're booking an appointment, I can't recommend Sonia enough.

It's disappointing that the front desk guy completely ruined my visit and left such a bad taste in my mouth.
