I've come here about 4-5 times, and the last time was probably one of the worst. Came in with my friend for pedicures, the guy cut my toe and sprayed alcohol on it which made it burn so bad. The way he painted my toes made it look like he didn't know what he was doing, the sides are chipped and look bad. The woman doing my friend's nails was extremely pushy about tipping... i wouldn't have tipped at all but i felt bad. read more

Every time I have been here, they try to "upsell" me. The tech asked if I wanted Bio Gel. It was an additional $15 and I declined- several times. She went ahead and did it anyway! I told her told her to round my nails and she kept making them square. So, each time she had to file more down and made them shorter than I like. I also don't like the fact that they only take cash. They should at least tell you that before they start. They have an ATM inside but it charges a fee to use. Go to Nail Blvd instead. Kevin is the best!! read more

Demonstrated blatant racism to my colored friend who came to get her nails done with me. The nail techs took 3 other walk-in white people before doing my friend's nails, despite us having an appointment. I asked for them to start on her nails 5 times before someone actually came to her, and it was clear that all the nail techs were reluctant to start on her. We asked for gel extensions, they gave us acrylic extensions, although the customer next to me was getting the gel extensions done I noticed 1/2 way through. * Racist * The techs are uninformative and don't give you what you ask for so they can profit * Not worth $70 for acrylics, both of our nails are thick & misshaped Go somewhere else if you're looking for fair/equal treatment and a quality nail job that's worth your money & time. So gross and disheartening to have this experience. Shame on their standards and ethics. read more

This is my new nail spot ! It's hard to find techs who know that they're doing and who shape everything perfectly Tiffany did SNS on me and I love the color & shape of my nails. Jenny did gel on my toes and they are gorgeous! I had a crack on my big toe and she repaired it so nicely without any additional charge. She's so sweet ! I went to a different salon prior to this visit & the tech tried to put a piece of tape over my toe nail with the crack then paint gel over it and it fell off my first day in Mexico! I was so bummed so I'm so happy I found this salon!! They know what they're doing and they're amazing at it! My only suggestion would be to get more SNS powder colors to chose from - there are very few to select from especially compared to their huuuge gel color selection. I vote for some bright neon SNS powders to be added :) XO read more

Was in the area for an appointment and the receptionist there recommended Nail Spa for a pedicure. I arrived as a walk-in around 1pm on a Monday and was quickly greeted and shown to a pedicure chair (with massage function). All employees were masked and the restroom was very clean. Jimy, the man who did my pedicure was easy going (tested a couple of colors on my toes) and he gave a great little foot massage with hot stones to finish. Overall, a pleasant experience for $22 and I was grateful for their friendly vibes. I'd go back to Nail Salon again anytime I'm in the area. read more

I was really disappointed this time. Been here a few times and it's been okay (not amazing but good) but a few days ago went in for French tip and the guy who did my mani was not detailed at all in his work... at all. I wish he would have said I'm not good at French tip because i paid so much and none of my French tips look good. I even tried to nicely ask to fix a few things and it still turned out bad. My nails are so uneven that I'm really not enjoying it. Very disappointed because I even asked him please to make sure it's even but the lines are very messy and some of my cuticles even were not taken care of well. Additionally, the amount of lotion they put on your hands these days is so ridiculous it's not even a proper squeeze and barely moisturizes your hand. I've been coming in here on and off for the last several years. I usually do my own pedicures until I need something like a callus removal or it's a special occasion. I've never had an issue. The technicians have always been nice. Until today I have a big trip coming up tomorrow and I needed to relax. Unfortunately, the technician I got today was incredibly rude. She took an attitude when I asked if she could show me what the Polish looked like before I committed to it. I didn't like the color. I asked if she had a pink, and she told me to go get it myself. She didn't even want to suggest anything. She followed me up to the front anyway and suggested a Polish from the Shelf. Why didn't she do that in the first place? She asked me if I wanted to upgrade my pedicure to include callous removal or $10 more. I agreed to it. Then she pulled out a chart with a picture of a spa treatment that said $45 she said this is a better deal because it included callus removal. At first, I said no, then changed my mind a few minutes later. This was supposed to include exfoliation and a 10-minute foot and leg massage. She didn't speak to me for almost the entire time I was there. She was one handed texting somebody the entire time she was supposed to be giving me the spa treatment and massage. She never even massaged my feet, just my calves. And she was doing the massage with one hand because she was too busy talking and texting someone on her phone. In the middle of my pedicure, she left to take an eyebrow wax. She came back after doing the wax and asked me to pay her she said the bill was $50. I looked up at her and said, "But you said it was $45?" She shouted at me. No, I didn't. I said it was $50!" and continued to yell at me. I was so embarrassed. I got irritated, and I said, "No, you did not say $50, you said $45!" She continued to yell at me, and I said, "I don't want to fight with you. " She kept bitching at me, and I finally said, "You're being incredibly rude right now please stop." I never raised my voice, not even one time. She was so aggressive! She was shouting at me while I was still in a seated position. That is just downright abusive! She was talking crap about me to the other technicians while nodding her head in my direction, and I kept hearing the word $50. It was so incredibly rude if you're going to be a b**** and talk smack about your customers, at least have the decency to do it in the same language that they speak, otherwise you're a coward. I never raised my voice to this person ever. Did I mention I'm a retired hairdresser and make up artist of over 32 years? I left that career and became a teacher. I don't treat people the way that she treated me. She treated me like garbage from the moment I sat down. I left there in tears. I have never had issues with any of the people there ever. Called to get pricing before I sent three kids ages 13-16. Was told $45 for a gel fill plus $10 for French tip. $40 for gel manicure and $40 for regular mani/pedi...kids were charged $175. WHAT?!?! As I called when they returned I was told the kids asked for Bio gel and a deluxe mani/pedi....NO THEY DIDN'T they don't even know what that is. They were up sold all these extra charges just because an adult wasn't present. I don't like being taken advantage of and will not return again. read more

Amazing customer service even with all that is going on. They took my temp at the door, and accommodated me in the nicest way. I can't remember her name (sorry!!!) but the girls who did my mani pedi were amazing. We had a lovely conversation about a home/pool remodeling show and how people spent so much on them lol. After 6 months of not having my nails done I was stoked to have them fresh and clean, and they turned out so beautiful. Will definitely be returning again and again. read more

I love supporting local, family-owned businesses around Agoura Hills, but, unfortunately, I will not be coming back here. I got acrylic nails on December 18th. Even though I wasn't completely satisfied with my nails, I didn't want to make it a big deal. One of my nails came off that following Sunday. I spent $70 on my set; I have never had nails come off that quickly. And, no, I wasn't lifting or doing rigorous work with my hands. I decided to call them and ask for them to take off my nails and get a partial refund. They said to come in, so I did. The workers were pretty rude. They kept cutting me off while I was telling them what happened. I didn't get a partial refund but they did take off my nails for free, which I appreciated very much. Overall, it was a pretty bad experience, and I don't think I would go there again. $70 down the drain. read more

I just returned from this spa today; this is my review on what my experience was: 1.) I was a walk in and asked if they had time for a mani and pedi for myself and my wife; the vibe was unfriendly and unwelcoming. 2.) As I was seated there seemed to an all out verbal assault on what my wife and I needed for services amongst themselves. All we wanted was what was listed on their menu as a combo mani and pedi deal with callus removal, but they continued trying to upsell us to other packages that we did not ask for and when we refused we received dirty looks and they continued to argue amongst themselves; adding to the already negative vibe. 3.) My wife did not feel comfortable there so she decided not to have anything done; because I was already being treated I just continued with my services. When they asked my wife why she was leaving she just told them that she just changed her mind and began to leave, which caused more discussion and arguing amongst the manager and the workers. 4.) Once my services were completed and I was paying at the register my wife returned. The manager then asked her if the reason why she left was because the service was too expensive. It felt like an insinuation that we were unable to afford her services. My wife just answered that there was too much arguing here for her to feel relaxed to stay. But the truth is that this place feels like a money grab, they don't care to listen to what the customer wants or needs for services, their agenda just seems to get as much money as you can get from the customer at all costs; either by pressure, badgering, or comments about not being able to afford it if the pressure or badgering doesn't work. All the while they are communicating with each other and you just don't know what is being said about you! In the end all we wanted was to escape the heat and feel pampered and relaxed; it is safe to say that we will not be returning! BTW, my mani and pedi was not good at all!! In general this place is great. My comment is there is no standard. Each manicurist does what she wants to do most of time it's good. Others it's iffy. I got persuaded to get a bio gel. Last longer better fit nails. No way. It peeled after 12 days. I went back and got argued with. The owner said my fault cause it peeled. When I told her my regular gel lasts more than 3 weeks I asked her if she was accusing me of lying. She redid regular gel but cut my nails so short, I can't pick up anything. My recommendation. When you are happy, get the name and ask for her. The men aren't so great. read more

They took me as a walk in and took their time to give me exactly what I asked for. This is also the first nail salon that didn't cut me or hurt me in any way. I went as a walk in with my daughter to get biogel. I was charged $50 that was more than what I paid 3 weeks ago. I asked why it was $10 she responded you had a manicure, I complained that she did not massaged my hands. She just said oh no it was a manicure, I feel ripped off. Frustrated I just left and I'm not returning to this place after this experience. My nails should have been $40 not $50. I hope the extra $10 and $5 tip was worth losing a customer. I am sorry to leave an unfavorable review for Nail Spa. I have left glowing reviews in the past. Yesterday, I made an appointment for a pedicure. When I sat down I upgraded to a deluxe one. For $60 , I sat in the chair for all the deluxe services for 25 minutes. It was the most rushed job I have ever experienced. It was nothing like my previous experiences. The bottom of my feet were rough, polish unskillfully applied and the massage was tragic. I was on time but two kids were an hour late to their appointment so they could get coffee. The same person who helped me jumped over to them before she finished with me. I used to love this place and never tipped less than $20. During non-holidays. I won't be back. read more

I am begging y'all do NOT go here for acrylic nails. All of my nails are different length, shapes, and sizes. the actual painting of the acrylics is splotchy and badly done. The people that work here are so sweet and have always taken their time making sure my nails look great, but still get me in and out in a proper amount of time. I go here every time I'm back in town from school and my nails never disappoint. They have a variety of colors and always a kind attitude. I always get really annoyed when my nails take too long, but the people at nail spa really know how to maximize my enjoyment and minimize my annoyance when getting my nails done. Just a little story to speak to the customer service. I broke my acrylic maybe 40 minutes after leaving. I came in the next day unannounced, and they very quickly fixed up my broken nail--completely kind and not annoyed--and when I tried to pay the man that fixed my nail, he tried to refuse my tip (unsuccessfully). I walked in this place on my way to my daughters soccer game. I got a gel mani and turned out good. 2 weeks later go back to for gel mani and pedi..this time is a disaster! My nails look terrible, looks like I painted them myself, I had 2 split nails and the nail tech "fixed the crack with powder" and painted. Next day the powder didn't stay and my nails were about to rip off. I go back on day 2 to ask them to fix the 2 split nails. They told me they didn't have time, put super glue on my nails, and asked me to come back in the morning between 10:30-10:45...it's now the next morning been here since 10:30-it's now 11:10 and still not seen.
