I was really hoping for a better first time experience with sugaring. This place had good reviews…read moreso I was hopeful in the type of care that would be taken. The place itself is clean and pink. I love the aesthetic, but the experience of getting a Brazilian wax was traumatizing. The esthetician, Natalie, was not gentle and seemed very upset when I needed to take breaks. She just kept going and telling me to hold my skin. Out of annoyance, she asked me several times if I wanted to continue (rolling her eyes). I understand that waxing is difficult but I think with it being a vulnerable experience (everything out in the open), it could've been handled with more caution. I was in pain the ENTIRE time, to the point of crying. The esthetician did not show any concern for the pain I was in. Even the way she sprinkled the powder was aggressive. I hope accountability is taken and reviewed. Overall, I don't see myself coming back here due to my experience. I hope to try sugaring at a place with more care and kindness.

This place is very cute. I did a walk-in today. Paid with Apple Pay. Plenty of parking out front…read more The place is very clean and cute. Lots of pink. The only thing is that the technician was relatively new when it comes to sugaring. I think with a little bit more experience, she'll be great. The table was disinfected after I was done, and the pink cover was replaced with a new clean one. I love how this place is so clean. I also got a 50% off on one of my waxes because I'm a first time client. Also, I got a scrub as a holiday gift! Yay!

I found this place on Yelp and given the great reviews, I made an appointment for a cut. I was in…read morethe middle of grocery shopping g when the salon called me to ask if I'd come in an hour and a half early because Beatrice had finished her other client earlier than expected. I agreed and rushed over. How nice it was to walk in to a salon with such a great vibe. Everyone, stylists and clients seemed full of such positive energy. Beatrice met me on time and we chatted about what I wanted. My hair was tired and long from the summer, so she added a glaze and built lovely movement around my face, while we chatted about life. I was happy with my first visit, though the glaze did not add the shine I've experienced with other glazes elsewhere and at home, but I made a second appointment two weeks later for my roots, moisture treatment and a blowout. For my next appointment I had a bag of chocolate I'd just purchased and did not want to leave It in the car. The receptionist was on the phone. I told her I had an appointment at 2. She said I arrived 12 minutes early (same as I did before) , and it seemed a problem from the time I entered. I asked her if she expected me to wait out in the heat, because that seemed like what she was suggesting. That first 12 minutes seemed to set the mood for the remainder of my experience. Beatrice put dye on my hair right at 2pm and sat me in a chair for 40 minutes while she worked on someone else. 40 minutes later, I'm introduced to Amanda, "who will be taking over from here." I was not happy, since I was paying for an experienced stylist who's been there 12 years and palmed off. In this experience was made to feel expendable, like I was imposing and a B client, but paying premium for the experience. I had to remind them of the moisture pack for post shampoo. Amanda then gave me a phenomenal head and neck massage and one of the nicest blowouts I've had. I thought I recognized her from another salon , and I was right. We chatted and then I got to the register to pay at the same time. Beatrice's other client was also finished. The same women who greeted me when I arrived said she'd email me my receipt. I will NEVER let anyone email me a receipt again. How shocked I was that for root touch up, moisture-and a blow out that my email said well over $300! I looked closely and I was double charged for the blow out and over charged for the moisture. In total, I was overcharged $80. I emailed back immediately about the problem. It was late but, I received a prompt email back that it would be corrected in the morning and an apology. I did see the credit in the morning. I honestly feel that after two appointments - one starting an hour and a half earlier and the second lasting 10 minutes with Beatrice because she double booked me, there is an issue there with scheduling. Beatrice no longer get deserves my business. I came in straight from the RSV ranch in jeans, sneakers, and wind blown hair from a volunteer day and treated, well, not nicely at reception, I don't think I am going back after I was over charged me $80, and rather than hand me the receipt, like the first time, they chose to email it. was this overcharge done on purpose? IDK. This was not an experience I ever want to repeat. If I do go back, Amanda is my girl.
