That alone should let you know how we feel about their superior work and professionalism. For this project we wanted to install hardwood floors in our living room and upstairs landing. We just wanted to tie all the rooms together since Dave's did another job about a year ago. Everything is simple from the quote, demolition, installation and sanding to the finish. Communication is great and you always know where they are in the progress. Absolutely no surprises is the 3 times we have used them. Kelly did our second job and we requested him to do this job too. He is the absolute best. A perfectionist and super cool guy. Another awesome job by Dave's Flooring and the only flooring company I recommend to my friends.

I paid for 3 coats of poly and an additional "radcoat" supposedly to make the floors more durable…read more They sanded down the middle, did not do the corners or edges at all. After I complained they scraped off the poly and somewhat fixed the corners. Not great, but better. Applied one more coat and then the final coat so I got one less coat then I paid for. First time they left the doors unlocked, second time they left them not only unlocked but wide open in sub zero weather. The house was vacant so I guess they thought that was ok. When I asked them about it they said it was hard to lock old doors and hard to make old floors look good. I thought that was what they did? It was a 1940's house so not ancient. They have every excuse in the book ready when you call to complain. Not the same floor company I used to get for all my rehabs. Very sub par work which it appears to be from a variety of sub contractors. Sad that what was once a good business is now just a scam operation cutting corners whenever they can. He then tiles the entire main floor of our home. He left wiithout testing the heat and when we turnd it on we got no heat. He came to our house 3 times, always wanting to charge us for his trip and time. After the third attempt to fix the floor he told us the heating element manufacturer had sold him a defective product. He refused further attempts to try to make the situation right and also told us "This is the fifth house I've had this happen to in the last teo years. There is nothing that can be done." As a laughable solution he istructed us to purchase hardwood flooring, at our own expense, and he would give us a discount to install it. She even ordered a bigger piece of the one we thought would work and sent it FedEx to our house. We were able to complete the work order documents and payment on our computer. Easy! Our rebate is a digital shopping card for Costco which I did receive after installation but haven't used yet. The installation went smoothly! Great team of 3 guys who were respectful and cleaned up well after. The seam we were worried might show since it is in the middle of the large room isn't visible! So happy!

From the get-go this was a bad experience. The carpet was creased after installation and they…read moreinsisted time would fix it and it would fluff up. Months passed, finally they replaced it. They brought the wrong wooden molding and it did not match. They then came back with the right molding and were inches short. 3rd time they came to do the molding it was finished....but they rehung the closet doors wrong (backwards) in the rails and the doors wouldn't move. Finally came back and rehung them. Stair carpeting was stretched too tight and was fraying at the edges. Came back and reinstalled. New carpet guy said it looked like the original job looked rushed. Designer visited and said the stairs looked overstretched. Left some scuffs on my walls. Total time until the room was done: 6 months. Yes I'm absolutely serious that this Costco sponsored business took 6 months to finish carpeting 1 room and 1 staircase. All I got was an apology from Costco and Shaw carpets. Find someone else for your carpeting. This was expensive and time consuming and endlessly frustrating.

Before the project began he asked for more money to ensure he did not damage the driveway. This should have been a red flag but after stating we talked about not damaging the driveway and that should have been in your quote we moved forward. I reminded his foreman the concrete must slope away from the home. After job completion it was pretty clear the concrete was not sloped properly. Micah his foreman assured me it was. After the stain dried I put a level on the concrete and it is indeed pitching at my house. That was over a month ago. No resolution and a " stamped concrete has irregularities " is where we are at. They have $5,916.00 and the work was not done correctly. Buyer BEWARE! I am seeking a solution still but at this point I do not trust they will do what they say they are going to do.
