I…read morereserved an appointment a couple hours before on a Sunday and they had me quickly set up when I arrived. Steve J. asked my price range and what I wanted to accomplish with my clubs upfront, and we quickly had a few initial testers based on that. I hit a 10 shot group with my current gamers and compared from there. It pays to have your swing figured out before coming in to get fitted-- the club is only as consistent as you are. Steve was upfront about his preference for Wilson but gave me a solid selection of clubs outside of theirs, and was not pushy at any point in the process. Was helpful and suggested several things I should consider in regard to lie angle, shaft, ect without trying to upsell. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process, got a fair price for my old clubs given their age, and left very happy with everything. There may be more "premium" vendors in the area, but I will 100% be using these guys for anything golf related in the future.

After years of a golf free lifestyle, the itch finally set in, and I needed to refresh my gear. Puetz comes to the rescue! Even though I originally purchased clubs, ball, and bag elsewhere, I ended up going with the purple highlights black bag I found here. What can I say, except that I'm a slave to matching colors!? They have all your basic stuff, and even though I'm far from an aficionado, I've been in my fair share of golf shops, especially when I was younger and shopping on a stricter budget. Puetz can definitely set you up right in the ways a thrift store or yard sale kit could never do. The store has a tight space but makes good use with a decent selection of product. I will definitely go here to build out my bag as I attempt to lower my handicap. They have quite a few speciality items, including ball markers with a variety of fun images stamped or engraved into metal. The people there seem really relaxed and helpful, even though I was able to find everything I needed within minutes. If you're just beginning or an old Pro you're likely to find what you're looking for here.

Had a budget of $2,000 and because I wore my streetwear, I was ignored. I even walked a few rounds in the store, intentionally to try and get help. It never came. This is about 10+ years since my first experience there, which was just about the same damn thing, and I was with my FIL.
