I stopped by this TJ Maxx store while was in the Fallbrook plaza. I came to this TJ Max to look for a belt. The mens area are on the left side of the store, the shoes are toward the back, the women area is in the middle and the other stuff like purses and etc are toward the right. I found the belt close to where the luggages are. I found the belt that I like and the price was very reasonable. I also saw a funny gift that I got my friend here. All items are already discounted, and there is the clearance area where everyone is rushing there as if everything there is "free". This store is always brightly lit by roof top solar panels. Customer service area and restrooms are well maintained & clean. All personnel are friendly and helpful. A limited ev charging stations are available right outside the store. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and rudeness at a retail store like I have at this TJ Maxx. The managers and employees here act as if they are above company policy, holding items for themselves and openly admitting that they can do so for as long as they want. When questioned about it, they stated that each store has different rules and that they don't have to follow TJ Maxx's official policies. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed employees yelling at customers in the checkout line, especially when pricing discrepancies arise. I have personally been on the receiving end of this treatment, and instead of resolving the issue professionally, the managers respond with an attitude, smirking or even laughing when confronted. To make matters worse, they intentionally cover their name tags to avoid accountability. This store desperately needs oversight from a district manager because the level of customer service is appalling. Employees here act untouchable, treating customers with blatant disrespect. I am not the only person who has experienced this, and besides this review, I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The photo attached shows a manager deliberately covering her name tag--an example of the unprofessional behavior that occurs regularly at this location. TJ Maxx corporate should seriously reevaluate the management at this store. read more

'Tis the season for warm clothes, blanket and the like. I was so happy I was able to find something and a few to choose from. The price isn't bad too. While on my way to the register, I looked at their clearance section. Lo and behold, I found a lovely backpack . This TJ Maxx has a lot of really nice things. Despite clothes and other items all over the floor, despite messy and unorganized shelves, despite sets missing pieces, despite items with no price in them, this TJ Maxx is constantly busy. The line to check out is always long. What bothers me is the peanut gallery of workers standing around at the far end of the row of registers. Maybe 1 or 2 cashiers taking customers, while 3-5 other workers have a pow wow. I've asked for more cashiers after standing in a line that has not moved and I'm blown off with, " Oh YES, we will be right with you!" But the number of cashiers never changes. It's very annoying, they act like they are just there to hang out. Very rude. read more

The managers at this store are awful!!! Very mean ladies. BUYER BEWARE AND CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! A man who car the cashier charged me for 3 items I did not purchase. I looked at my receipt later in the evening and was shocked. When I went to the store the lady managers were super mean!! I waited for about 15 minutes for an answer. They said someone reviewed the footage and we bought the items. They were candy which clearly the cashier charged me and took for himself. When I asked to see the footage they refused. I came back with my clothes not on the hangers because I didn't know if the lady there wanted it on hangers or not. I gave it to the lady and said "I'm not taking this". This review is for Stephanie specifically. I was waiting in line to purchase an item and noticed a customer causing hardship to the cashier (Stephanie). Stephanie addressed the issue in an extremely professional manner but the customer continued to cause conflict. Another employee stepped in to help the customer and remove any further delays for the other customers to purchase their items. I wanted to make this review solely about Stephanie since she showed great customer service and professionalism. Very pleased with the selection today at TJ Maxx. I haven't been in for awhile but after today I'll be stopping in regularly. They have sone very fashionable items at awesome prices. The line was long but moved extremely quickly. I bought 4 pairs of nylons for 16.40 which is about 4 a piece. Great deal. Included photos of sone of my fav items in the store. They have a beautiful evening bag section. My favorites were the made in India beaded bags. I found House of Harlow, Adidas , Hello Kitty, Tommy Hilfiger and more! read more

employee was inconsiderate and rude. the store closes at 9:30PM. as my friend and i were leaving at 9:15, something caught our eye on the way out. we stopped for maybe 2 minutes before turning around to walk away towards the door when an older employee said "we're closing you need to leave". i'm normally very understanding, i work in customer service myself, but there was 15 minutes before the store closed and that type of behavior coming from an employee is insane. the lady was older, wearing a denim outfit, near the jewelry counter. read more

Stephanie the manager did an excellent job in displaying team work and customer satisfaction. All cash registers were open. all of the staff was so friendly and helpful. I will not be returning to this TJMaxx. The store manager is beyond rude. Her attitude has ruined my love for shopping at TJMaxx. Not pleasant and looks at every purchase or return with scrutiny. Overall the store isn't too bad. The selection, Cleanliness, cashiers, Etc. but the fitting room was horrible. The lady was so rude and had a horrible attitude. She has major RBF, and slams her hand on the rack and yells "here!", instead of speaking in a complete sentence. When I came out, and tried to hand her the clothes that I didn't want, she started slamming her hand on the other side of the rack and snapped at me.. saying "no here!" This is a store located within the Fallbrook Center shopping complex. The store itself has wider aisles than typical TJ stores and feels very open with shelves typically well organized. The problem here is the staffing, even at opening, there is always a long line to checkout and never enough staff. The typical wait is in excess of 30 min., so unless you have a lot to buy or lots of time, it may not be worth it. Having been here on multiple occasions, it is not a one off. Being that my visits are mostly on weekends, I expect it to be busier, but they should also anticipate that and have additional staff versus always seeming to be lacking. Typical situation is only 2 cashiers open with at least 10+ people in line. read more

Very upset at this store since I don't know how many times they have over charged me or others. This isn't the first time, I was there today about 4:19 pm my cashier was Reyna, she charged me $59.99 3 times instead of 2 times and even though I told her that I didn't want to donate she still charge me for it. Not only that she assure me 3 times that parking validation is 2 hours and when I was trying to leave after I had to spend another 15 minutes for someone to take care of the overcharge at exit I was charge $3 for parking after she assured me that it was two hours not 1.5 hour. I think TJ Max needs to trained their workers as their is two many mistakes and the waiting is way to long read more

Well it was nice while it lasted! This store totally redid their beauty section and it's more centered on now on skincare/body products than hair and and makeup. They used to have a great selection of makeup with a ton of product however now it is just reduced to a very small selection of mainly lower end products. I'm guessing that they decided to off most of their makeup due to theft and women who opened products to test them out. This is why we cant have nice things! This was once my go to TJ Maxx but now there's no point in returning. The Granada Hills location reduced their makeup section as well but not to the degree that West Hills went. read more

This is one of my favorite TJ Maxx locations. It is conveniently located in the Fallbrook Shooping Center and parking is always ample and easy. I came specifically looking for a Dooney & Bourke Dodgers large leather tote that a friend saw and told me "it reminded her of me." So I had to come get it! The store is very well organized and looks very clean. I really liked the wide selection they have of almost every department. I was surprised by the variety of purses they have and really loved how they were organized by color, not brand. That makes it easy to find a purse in a specific color you are looking for. & yes I was able to find the one is was looking for! The cashier was very friendly and offered their store credit card. At first I was hesitant because I prefer bank credit cards as opposed to store credit cards. But considering I would most likely get approved & I would save 10% of my entire purchase, I went for it. So now I have the Platinum Rewards credit card for TJ Maxx & its affiliated stores such as Marshall's & Home Goods. I'm glad I got the credit card & saved some money. Now I have an excuse to continue visiting this location when I'm in the area. I would def recommend this store if you are looking for a great bargain in top name brands. read more

This is my favorite Tj Maxx location in the valley! The store is always fully stocked and they have great deals. I recently went and bought a ton of kitchen supplies and a new food chopper that I've been eyeing at for awhile. They are following safety protocols and the attendant is making sure all shoppers have a mask and are sanitizing carts as soon as they are returned. Even if the line to check out looks long, they have many cashiers and you will be in and out of the store in no time! read more

Well stocked, friendly & pretty organized all things considered. I love this location. Don't love the parking, but the employees are always helpful & nice. They are following COVID protocols best they can & the attendant at the door who sanitizes the carts is always warm & welcoming. I did a boo boo on my latest holiday shopping excursion & dropped pillows over onto the candle side & absolutely shattered two candles. Humiliated, I admitted to the accident & they were so kind about the whole thing. I felt horrible & their grace was more than I expected. I did notice a lot of staining on a pillow (the only one like it) I wanted, but willing to wash it, I asked for a mark down. The clerk did ask a manager but they didn't honor it. I was surprised - that's usually not an issue, so that's my only complaint. The pillow ended up falling apart in the washer, but I knew they wouldn't take it back, so I guess it's just a loss. Came here on my lunch break a couple weeks ago, got my favorite Hempz lotions for 10.99 a bottle. Got a cute pair of boots too. Its a small location, but decent selection of workout clothes, and purses, shoes. The lines go much quicker than the Tarzana location, and I can go on my lunch break close to my job. Easy parking, the store is large and fairly well organized. Large selection of purses, cooking items and a really nice sized pet section. I went today (12/26) to buy marked down toys for my pets-unfortunately they had not done that yet, and with 20 person deep line-I didn't want to wait to get prices before I made selections. Bad customer service!! I have been a loyal customer for several years now and frequent this location weekly. My 82 year old mother received as a gift earrings that dangle which she can't wear. They said they could take back without a receipt, even though they were in the same box with the tag attached to the earrings. I asked for a manager, and she immediately addressed with me " we can't take back". No saying hello and how can I help you?. I asked her if I decided to bring back UNDERWEAR with out a receipt you would take it back with out tags and she said yes. All she wanted was to exchange them for something she could wear! Tj Max returns are a big scam. They purposely ticket items in a different department than what your receipt says on the bar code. Tried to take back items with my original receipt and they tried to only give me store credit. There is no way an item should be scanned for the wrong department! (They are trying to get at I don't have the right receipt ) And if it does that's not my fault. I was using a debit card and just wanted an chargeback ! For some reason I got a TJ Maxx credit card even though I rarely go in. But to attempt to improve my credit I try to use the card once a month. When I actually do go in, I always find things I want! I just never have an urge to really go. The other day I bought a new purse (Lucky Brand) that was originally $99.99 and I got it for $49.99, I love it! I usually get my shampoo here too. Oh and gifts, they have these awesome SUPER soft throw blankets for $19.99 that make the perfect gift. Overall, the store is organized and clean. Beware of the cashier named Faria, she will charge for an item that you didn't get. I came to the store to get planters for my plants, when I was checking out I just ask why both planters has the same price even if the size is different. She said the larger one is more expensive, she immediately tear off the tag price and throw it in the trash right away. So I said I'm not getting both planters since she's not being considerate. It's not me who made a mistake it's on their side. So I just bought the other items, but when I was in my car I check the receipt and I notice she added an item that I didn't buy. I went back right away and complain to the manager. He helped me refund the money for that item and told me she will talk to Faria. Lesson learn, always check your receipt. read more
