The employees here don't have good customer service especially upper management. I've been here a couple times and everytime I do, they're rude and rude to other fellow employees. There's no need for management to check eachother with attitude or their employees or give them attitude in front of customers. Both times I witness this, all customers were VERY uncomfortable. Have you ever walked into a TJMaxx and had 4 20something ladies stare at you as if you had no reason to be there? No? Must just be me as i am a rather muscular and tall brown skinned male. Ever been cut off trying to leave the store by an employee and forced to walk around fixtures because they did not reply to "excuse me" Yes, only me again. Also the female associate with the top lip peircing stared directly into my soul while not saying a word as i left. She didnt say a thing until i said "have a nice day" to which she mumbled a reply. Honestly, the last couple times I have gone in here I have walked out with nothing. It really has gone downhill IMHO. I used to be able to score D & B and Coach bags on clearance, nice jeans, and good home merch but lately, everything seems overpriced and cheaply made. I don't even recognize a lot of the "name brands". Their clearance items are piled up on top of another like a pile of trash. The store is messy and the employees don't seem to give a hoot. I recently saw a broken frame marked 5.99 on "clearance", really?? Lines are achingly slow, and more often than not, gives me too much time to think about the item I am waiting to buy, which in turn makes me put it down and walk out. Not the same. TJ Maxx is the hidden shoppers love... If you have time and don't mind perusing than this is the place for you. They also have some pretty high end brands like BCBG. In their purse section they at times even carry coach and Marc Jacobs. I also particularly like the shoes they carry and they are reasonably priced. They have also expanded their jewelry section and the prices are a great deal :) I Love shopping BUT I also Love getting a great deal... So I can shop some more Buuuaaaahhhhh.... read more

Usually I would give all TJ's 5 stars simply because it is one of my favorite stores, but I have gotten a bit over the non-runway ones (such a diva, I know) and this one is just really dated. It could really use a facelift, I think this is one of the few locations where I have never found anything. Still, I continue to support TJ's so 4 stars for being there. read more

This TJ Maxx is designed well and is always so nicely organized. I feel like they've done a lot in the last few years to make it an easy place to shop. As a customer it's awesome. Associates smile, and if I need help I usually get it right away or wait my turn. Sometimes when I shop there theres no line, sometimes there is. But when there is a line I notice the urgency the workers do to call more cashiers. I have been here twice as this is our closest TJ Maxx. Both times I have been there, there was an associate that stood out to me the most. Chandler has made it a point both visits to greet me with a smile, extend help, and just be plain nice. You hardly expect any to no customer service to similar retail places and I was overall impressed. The first time I was in, I spoke to the store manager about this gentlemen and this time I am writing a yelp. I love this place cause you never know what kind of treasures you'll find! I have found Kat Von D lipsticks, Anastasia Beverly Hills highlighters, and other awesome makeup products at a low price. This place is heaven for those of you who love a good skin care routine because they have an abundance of products with natural ingredients and also lots of awesome serums and face masks. I found my favorite pair of jeans here for $16.99 and when I finally wore them out I looked online and found them again elsewhere for $49.99. This TJ Maxx was awesome! Sometimes I go into a TJ Maxx and I see a few things I want but this store had so many things! So many cool dog items! Halloween costumes for dogs and kids. Everywhere I turned there was something I wanted!! It had tons of soft blankets and cool pictures I love the pictures that having positive sayings on them and this place has tons of them. They even had dogs pictures sayings that were so cute! I would usually buy all of them for my clients during Christmas. Lastly the cashier was really nice and helpful. This is my first time posting a bad review but I feel it has to be done. This review is solely based on an employee that has happened to make me feel negativity and angst towards. I will start with the older woman with grey hair , glasses and dark skin , who happens to manage the fitting rooms on the few to several times I have shopped at Tj maxx. This lady is nothing but rude with her bad attitude. One of the times I had went to the fitting rooms to try on swim wear , she had placed them on bar and double checked them as if I were to take off the tags of the top and bottom. Really? Just because I look young does not mean I will try to steal or rip off tags off of the merchandise. Another thing that irks me about her is that she has told me I cannot go into the fitting room with shoes or merchandise that I have already purchased and plan on returning or exchanging. I had an occasion in which I placed shoes I was planning on purchasing on the fitting room counter because that is where this lady indicates placing the shoes while in the fitting room. So after I was done trying on things, I came back out to hand in what I didn't want and keep what I did want. And in instance I noticed the shoes were not there. I asked her where the shoes ( really cute Franco Sarto heels that I thought of wearing with a dress for a special event) went, she acted clueless, asked one of the employees if she put the shoes back , the employee said no and the lady said she saw them placed there but didn't even apologize for losing sight of them or even allowing someone the chance to grab them. Her overall negative demeanor drives my patience low. I love Tj maxx but running into her when she's working does not make it enjoyable . But at least the other employees of the store are nice which is why this is not 2 stars. She may be older but someone needs to tell her to change her negative demeanor towards the customers. read more

I hardly go here but I was in the area and stopped in. This TJ is a little small but pretty neat. I was able to find a french connection cotton tee for $10. It's really hit or miss with their stores but if you're lucky, you can find name brand clothes for cheap. Service was good and the line was surprising short on a Saturday afternoon. I've been coming here for some time. Never had any issues . Today I was very disappointed with the male cashier who checked me out. During the holidays shine for your customers. Well for starters we had to make the drive they had two pairs of crocs on hold for me after I had been searching everywhere!!! The people who work there are notttt friendly and don't want to be there. Literally 8 people in line and one cashier when three other employees were near by doing nothing and looking at the line. This TJ Maxx used to be my go to place to buy gifts for all occasions including birthdays and anniversaries. They have all the brand names for a fraction of the cost. But recent experience is horrible! The lady at the jewelry accused me of returning broken earrings. The pair of clearance earring that I bought was already broken but I did not know about it. The lady said " I will refund you this time but next time don't bring back broken earrings" so she accused of breaking it and returning it. I was planning to buy another item there but she seems to ignore me by taking her time with another customer, and they were not even busy. She thinks she Own the store, very unprofessional and rude to the customer. It will be a loss for TJ Maxx because I shop here every week, and I drop at least $50 each time. Now They will lose my business forever. I will not come back here again!!! Check your clearance items before you purchase it so that you don't have to go though my bad experience. read more

I'm very displeased with the service here. No one offered assistance while I was going from section to section. I had a question and couldn't figure out who to ask since no one was really around. Alas, I go to the register with my two items. I have a printed e-giftcard, and the woman scans it. It's not working she says. She says the barcode is too long, so I start getting worried. I just printed it and they're telling me it doesn't work? She had already ripped off the half with instructions, and I had glanced at them before I went to the store. I remembered it had specific instructions for the cashier and said something about tapping the e-giftcard key. I asked her, "It doesn't do anything when you hit e-giftcard? I don't know how your guys' system works, but it said on there to tap it." She grabs the half sheet she ripped and glances at it. She calls over her supervisor. The supervisor tells her e-giftcard and applies the balance super quickly, and then cashes out the remaining balance for me. The cashier said, "Oh, I learned something new today." I tell her, "It helps if you read the instructions," and thank the supervisor. I DO NOT appreciate feeling ignored and disrespected. Just because I am younger than you does not mean that you should not listen to me. Especially when I happen to be right. If she had bothered to read the instructions like I told her, I would have been out of there much quicker. She definitely soured my idea of this location. read more

I love the maxx!! This particular store is always clean and neat and they have great selections of brand names like BCBG, Michael Kors, Coach, D&B, different Italian brands. The shoe and purse depts are my fave! Everytime I shop here, I find a great deal on a brand I love =) I also love browsing the home decor dept! They have all these cute paintings, vases, candle, and other fun decor for your room or home. I guess i love the store since I'm there at least once every 2 or 3 weeks with my mother!
