This is my favorite Target by far and I'm a Target girl. For the most part the store is always well stocked, there's a wide selection of items and good promotions and discounts when using the app. The employees are friendly and nice and always willing to help or try and find someone to help you. The customer service counter does a great job at handling any issues. I appreciate that they carry many homeopathic and holistic options in the baby section as well as medical. I love this Target! I only ever have an issue with the diaper promotions. For some reason those always glitch and a manager is needed. But even then, it goes smoothly l. Good selection l! Good value! Several items were not where they were supposed to be, leading to confusion and misrepresented pricing. I really enjoy this store. The lines are normally quick, the service is slightly above average, always willing to assist. Pricing is average and assortment always seems to be okay. I've been to better target stores which are better in cleanliness but not too bad. The food court is not up to par but I normally don't come for the popcorn either. Absolutely disappointed in the drive up order associates. I had to go days waiting for a refund for two boxes that were not put in my car. When i realized the items were missing the refund time was past- I had to wait on ai chat to argue with me about if the boxes dropped from my car when loading. This is a great target with good layout that flows. I've been into some targets where it's kind of weird and you wanna take a shower when you get home type thing. But this has a good aesthetic to it. The team members are always nice with a smile and always helpful. You never have a problem finding parking, and the items are always stocked. This target has the best prices on some of the staples that we use like cat food, toilet paper, paper towels, T-shirts, underwear, etc. and it's very competitive even with Online so there's no problems there. And it's fun to walk into a place where the employees are genuinely happy to be there so the management must be running a really cool ship! They always have the cutest items in the dollar bin. The selection is pretty much a hit or a miss depending on the holidays. I was able to score the red rubber basket and fill it with Valentine knickknacks. The target basket was found in the party section for three dollars. I picked up two. Those are awesome. read more

Most recently I was looking for my Starbucks Via and I can never find them here or other stores. Two guys were stocking the coffee aisle shelves. I just want to warn everyone about buying gift cards for different stores such as Nordstrom's .My son bought $100 gift card from Nordstrom at Target San Dimas and he bought $100 visa gift card at Target San Dimas . Both cards were hacked! You cannot tell that they opened them and stole the numbers awaiting activation! what scum . Why not lock up the gift cards instead of having them sit out. i love Target; however, I stopped my weekly shopping trip there because of their dropping of DEI policies. I've shopped at Target only a handful of times since that change and only when I need something I can only find at Target. I have heard multiple times on the news that Target is struggling financially and that much of that is due to boycotting due to their dropping of DEI policies. Even though I've found other good retail establishments since then from which to purchase what I need, I'd be back in a heartbeat if Target reversed their decision regarding DEI. Their service answering the phone is absolutely terrible and so is the Pharmacy. I've been trying to call them for 30 minutes to get a live human being to let them know that a homeless person left a basket at the park by my home. What is happened to good old-fashioned customer service picking up a phone and talking to someone. I came in about an item that had been accidentally not placed in my bag on my most recent shopping trip, mistakes happen, it's understandable. Naji helped me out and was able to take care of the problem quickly, and with a professional and friendly demeanor. I ordered a pick up from the [San Dimas] Target location because it was the closest to my daughter's home, while helping out after her surgery. I am glad that I offered to retrieve her items. When I arrived at the drive-up area, the guy working handed me a Target bag with the small box of Band-Aids. But went on to hand me the larger laundry detergent box, and additional cleaning supplies one by one [no bag], not to mention the food items that were also included in the order! When I asked for bags, he said that the order only indicated payment for "one" bag! I'll drive the additional miles to the "other" Target - next time. read more

Their drive up is the worst!!! They take way more than two hours (when it says ready within 2 hours). At times it's not even ready the same day, it's ready the next day! Target has always been one of my favorite stores. I shop here for toys, stationery, holiday staff, halloween costumes, shoes, kitchen utensils, breads,yoghours and many more. They have very nice bowls and mugs at the best price, $2 for a big cereal bowl. I always buy a couple of bowls every year. I bought two halloween costumes for my kid when they were on sale and they lasted several years. The store is very clean and well-organized. The staff are always nice and helpful. read more

This review is by my mom Nora, who does not have her own Yelp account: I was here at Target on 12/30/22 at 8:30 AM this morning looking for fresh pie crust and couldn't find it. A Target employee told me it was located towards the back of the store. I made my way there and passed by another Target employee, a young man named JAKE, who was stocking food in the freezer section when I asked if he could help me find a box of fresh pie crust. He proceeded to tell me that if I didn't see it in the freezer section, then it wasn't there. I kindly told him that I didn't want frozen pie crust; I needed fresh pie crust. He didn't even hear me out before he decided to cut me off and SHOUT at my face about how it wasn't there, that if "you don't see it, then we don't have it; it's not there!" He REFUSED to leave his station to help me at least try and locate fresh pie crust. I have NEVER in my 30+ years of shopping at Target been yelled at and belittled by an employee. It was absolutely mortifying, not to mention UNPROFESSIONAL. I did eventually find my fresh pie crust with no thanks to JAKE. I even showed him what I had found so that he knows for next time. He didn't care; he just dismissed me like he couldn't be bothered. Why wear the red T-shirt then? Why represent Target if you refuse to help customers? I left the store feeling shocked and deflated by how employee Jake treated me. No one should be treated with contempt. I understand it's the holiday season, and that he might not want to be working at this time, but regardless, no one deserves to be yelled at or fought with as a customer. And as a customer, the sheer LACK of customer service skills displayed by Jake as well as his willingness to argue with me, was just beyond comprehension. People with a temper like Jake, should not be on the floor where daily customer interaction is inevitable. He needs to eat humble pie, understand what customer service is, and learn to be kind and gracious to others. His behavior was completely unacceptable. If he did that to me, I am sure he displays this kind of despicable attitude to prospective customers and/or his colleagues. read more

When I used to work in San Dimas, this was my go-to Target for stuff. Now that I work elsewhere, I don't go here much anymore unless I need something quick and I happen to be in the area. If I recall, this Target was clean and organized. It was always pleasant to shop here. I never had an issue with anything. No problems with returns. They do have self-checkouts now so I use them as much as possible. I have purchased items through Target online for pickup in the past. Pickup process is fairly easy. They get you out in a jiffy. Depending on where I will be, I may pickup from here or another Target. Happy Target'ing! read more

Target has a wide selection of apparel for the family, items for the home, greeting cards, school and office supplies, sporting goods, toys, cosmetics, groceries and cleaning products. The store is clean and spacious. Restrooms are easily found at the front of the store. This is why brides and new parents will register here. read more

Came here to pick up a Nintendo switch. 3 left in the store we were told. Closest Target to have one in the area. Made a b line to electronics to pick it up. Waiting there about 15-20 minutes for someone in a red shirt to help us out. Crickets!! I went to one of the price kiosks where you can call for a team member to come help you. 3 times I tried but to no avail. Finally I made my way up to guest service to find some help and when the guest service member called someone two team members had miraculously appeared to help my wife. Anyone else would have had a fit, so I hope they have someone cover the section while team members are on breaks. Anyways getting are hands on the switch trumps are wait for help. I ordered a Roku stick on-line and the website said that the product was in stock at the San Dimas location. It said that it would be available by 2:00p.m. I paid with my gift card and additional money I paid with my debit card. My husband went to the store to pick up the item he was told that it wasn't available yet but to return to pick up in 2 hours. When he returned a different employee said to check our email and there was one sent indicating that they were out of stock. So my husband asked for his money back and they said they could only give him another gift card by way of an email and the remaining money would be credited to my debit card. So my husband drove over to Best buy and picked one in stock up for a few dollars less. I read the email after he returned home and it said that he could have requested it to be delivered in 3 days, with free shipping. The employee didn't even provide that information. We could have waited for the delivery instead of making multi trips and spending more money on gas, and the frustration and inconvenience. As of today, 3 days later, I checked my email and I have yet to receive my return gift card or to have my bank card credited for my out of pocket portion. I tried to telephone the store to speak with a store manager or the Customer Service Department and after making over 10 phone calls, I was unable to reach ANY department let alone a store manager, plus I was disconnected multiple times. This Target needs more people to man the phones or a better answering system. Unfortunately, Target has gotten like all the other big box stores. Pay more, get less!! You get less respect, service, dependability, product knowledge, more weight time less follow-up with return phone calls, more laziness and less drive and pride in helping the public and doing a good job as an employee. I wouldn't recommend this Target store. read more
