Great little town, shopping area to come spend some time. Lots of eateries. Come and take a stroll or meet a friend for coffee.

I ended up getting some yummy ice cream. This review isn't about Afters Ice Cream, but Afters Ice Cream is the reason why I was here at Citrus Crossing. I actually have been at this shopping center before when I did take-out at Urbane Cafe a while back. Anyway, Citrus Crossing is a huge shopping center with big and small businesses (shown below) located in the City of Azusa. It's in very close vicinity to Azusa Pacific University... literally diagonally across the street. Tons of free parking. It's anchored by a grocery store, a movie theater, and good restaurants. I am curious about a few of the biz. I may return to check them out. I have a habit of coming here on the weekdays because finding parking is a cinch and I can quickly pick up items I want or need. If you come on Friday nights, a lot of people are walking around, especially students. I would be careful about crossing the blocks here because there are many drivers who speed through and don't check the pedestrians. My store highlights are: Doc Martens, POP MART, ZARA, Punchbowl Social, Dog Haus, and the Escape Game. I frequent these places the most! I have also been enjoying their newest addition: Marugame Udon. Sadly, there aren't as many deals here because these aren't the outlet stores. At the time of my review, the Apple Store is currently under construction but they have a pop up located near miniso and POP MART instead. Everything is still kept clean and it's fun to walk around at night. The lights are glittering and sparkling. Amazing outdoor mall.

The landscaping and open-air layout made for a relaxing shopping experience, and everything looked well cared for. There was a nice variety of stores and restaurants, making it easy to spend a few hours here. Parking was convenient, and I appreciated how tidy the common areas and restrooms were. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that a few of the stores I was hoping to visit weren't here, and it got a bit crowded during peak hours. Overall, it's a great place to shop, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy a day outdoors. I'd definitely come back.

I was a little confused because I took an elevator which spat me outside when I thought this was an indoor mall. It turns out that some stores are outside, while the majority are inside. If you're looking for somewhere to go in the middle of a heatwave in LA, this place has amazing AC. At one point I was even rubbing my arms because it was so cold inside. I'm a sucker for anything cute, so I was glad there were so many Japanese stores that reminded me of my trip to Tokyo. A couple of the stores even had the rows of vending machines that drop out capsules with various items inside. It was disappointing to see one of the stores had a broken token machine, so you couldn't use the vending machines even if you wanted to. Both the stores and restaurants are a mix of reasonably priced to expensive. If you go to one of the actual restaurants instead of one of the fast food places at the food court, I'd recommend making reservations since the one I went to is notorious for having long lines. Both at the store and the restaurant I went to, the employees greeted me and were friendly, asking if I'd want any help or letting me know about discounts they had that day. All malls are pretty much the same, so I wouldn't go out of my way just to visit this one, but if you're in the area, need somewhere to hide from the heat, the free AC and parking here are definitely a draw.

It's a hub for not just great food and shopping, but for entertainment they have AMC and Dave and Buster's as well. Plenty of parking available between outdoor parking lot and the multi level indoor garage. We initially came to the mall for dinner at Din Tai Fung. While walking the place, I found they had so many other Asian brand stores like Miniso, Meet Fresh, Uniqlo and Kinokuniya bookstore. But most surprising of all was finding a whole 99 Ranch inside the mall. After dinner, we did some shopping here. Later at night, I came back here to play some games in Dave & Buster's. But the signs can improve a bit for better direction. I was so confused how to get to the parking near D&B entrance. Also, the parking garage seemed under maintained. But overall a really great place for both locals and tourists.

As somewhat expected in a highly populated area in a big city, be vigilant and watch out for yourself, because despite cameras everywhere and the occasional security personnel, you tend to see some shady characters lurking around. Location 4 stars: In the Fairfax District area of Los Angeles, to the East of the original Farmer's Market. The Grove has a huge but very busy parking structure, so while you may have to journey to the upper levels, you will eventually find parking. Although some restaurants will validate part of the parking fees, be prepared to pay somewhere between $10 and $30 depending on how long you stay and which stores you visit. Their validation rules are fairly complex and not straightforward, so be sure to read all the fine print. They also have Valet parking on premises. Venue 4 stars: Nice modern open air set up with a Nordstrom, Zara and H&M and a bunch of smaller stores, an AMC movie theater, a Barnes and Noble, a Cheesecake Factory, and a variety of coffee shops and restaurants to fit most tastes and budgets. One catch being that the Grove parking lot cannot be validated by the Farmers Market stores and vice versa. Once you are on premises you can use the trolly to move from one end of the venue to the other. Also keep in mind that the Original Farmers Market is literally next door and attached to the Grove, which dramatically increases your food options.

It's a lovely mall and they built a nice addition of an outdoor section of new stores and restaurants, so it's even nicer. You can do some good shoppng here. I like the variety of eateries at the food court. There are a couple of vacant spaces, so it will be interesting to see what comes next. However, it's quite crowded on the weekends, so don't bother coming on those days if you don't have to. In 2028, they will have residential apartments, which is what they've been doing at many shopping malls these days. That will bring thousands more people to the grounds. I personally wish they wouldn't build housing right at the malls.
