Best belt I've ever owned…read more I carry. I carry a big gun. .45 ACP. The consumer belts you get, even ones at gun shops, just can't cut it. I walked in, they measured me and custom fit the best belt ever. Today I went back. I have lost weight. They recut the belt and refit the buckle while I waited. No charge. OUT BLOODY STANDING! They also do custom holsters, bracers, bags, etc. I have a knife sheath project I'll be taking to them in the very near future.

I don't often go to malls. But I entered for one thing... a particular kind of Levi's jeans that's…read moreon sale. I wanted to try them on first because it is a different cut than my usual. I am not familiar with the layout of this store, but found the Levi's section fairly easily on the first floor. Finding the particular kind I needed was more challenging. Thankfully, a gem of a lady named Diana T. at the AYS department offered to help me. She found what I needed and checked me out with a kind word and a smile. Miss Diana made my day. It's hard to find places with excellent and friendly service anymore. I live 7 hours away, but if I lived closer I'd be a regular customer.

Store was relatively clean and well stocked with options and super tidy! (Esp the men's shoes/dress attire). Lots of staff working their sections! Only took a star off bc half the escalators weren't working and the elevator was slow and not inspected in over a year like it was supposed to (lights/sounds not working). Hopefully both are being addressed! Our trip up and down 3 floors for various needs took **forever** waiting on the elevator when we couldn't even walk up/down some of the broken escalators. On March 20th, I purchased a bicycle online that was delivered to my home. Upon assembling the…read morebicycle, I discovered that the gear derailleur assembly was damaged. I phoned the manufacturer of the bicycle (Sixthreezero) regarding the damage; however, the call went to voicemail as it was a Sunday. As one can imagine, I was a bit upset by this as I am a middle-class guy and $450 is a good amount of money for me to spend on something that was delivered damaged. It was at this point that I decided to take the bicycle to my local Academy with the intention of getting a refund. I wheeled the bicycle into my local Academy and was warmly greeted by a nice young lady at the customer service desk that validated my purchase and asked if I could speak to her manager regarding the issue with the bicycle. The manager on duty at the time was a young man called Paul. I showed Paul the damage to the bicycle and expressed my disappointment as I was excited to receive the bicycle and was looking forward to enjoying it. Paul apologized for the mishap with the bicycle and asked me if I would allow his assembler to attempt a repair on it. I was happy to allow this as I really like the bicycle that I purchased. Paul thanked me for my patience and expressed his confidence in his assembler and told me that he would happily refund me for the bicycle if his assembler was unable to repair the damage. The assembler at this location was as good as Paul conveyed to me. Not only did the assembler repair the damage to the bicycle, but he also filled the tires and gave the bicycle an overall tune up. I couldn't be happier with the customer service that I received from Paul and his crew at this New Caney location.

I had to go there twice: first time to submit my items worth around $300, second time to take them…read moreback the next day. They absolutely DO NOT give/send you a receipt on accepted merchandise, and I requested it twice. The young girl at the front desk has no clue about how to do things and keeps doing that little girl talk "my sister told me" and "my sister said ". She will lie to you about sending the receipt "in a few minutes" and doesn't know how to apologize. Receiving payment from them would be a disaster. BTW the shop is a total mess.
