As one can imagine, I was a bit upset by this as I am a middle-class guy and $450 is a good amount of money for me to spend on something that was delivered damaged. It was at this point that I decided to take the bicycle to my local Academy with the intention of getting a refund. I wheeled the bicycle into my local Academy and was warmly greeted by a nice young lady at the customer service desk that validated my purchase and asked if I could speak to her manager regarding the issue with the bicycle. The manager on duty at the time was a young man called Paul. I showed Paul the damage to the bicycle and expressed my disappointment as I was excited to receive the bicycle and was looking forward to enjoying it. Paul apologized for the mishap with the bicycle and asked me if I would allow his assembler to attempt a repair on it. I was happy to allow this as I really like the bicycle that I purchased. Paul thanked me for my patience and expressed his confidence in his assembler and told me that he would happily refund me for the bicycle if his assembler was unable to repair the damage. The assembler at this location was as good as Paul conveyed to me. Not only did the assembler repair the damage to the bicycle, but he also filled the tires and gave the bicycle an overall tune up. I couldn't be happier with the customer service that I received from Paul and his crew at this New Caney location.

The Sugar Land manager, Layla Bennett, damaged one of my products and then refused to take responsibility. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, she denied what happened. I was forced to send 10 emails to her supervisor before they finally admitted I was right. Even then, they only refunded 50% of the damage. After standing up for myself, I was retaliated against. The supervisor, Ramona Ventura, gave me only two days to vacate my booth simply because I demanded accountability. They do not care whether you succeed. They do not promote your products. Their only concern is collecting their monthly rent. Whether you sell or not, you are locked into a one-year contract and must pay. Vendors beware.
