Their billing system doesn't have a display facing the customer , so you don't really know what they are billing . I specifically asked the counter service lady if there's no display for me to verify and they booth she said she would tell me the price of each item at billing she didn't . And come home and I saw I was billed twice for one item amount 32$ and then I had to go and explain the issue and almost denying that I even bought anything 2 days ago as their system didn't show anything . Then they seemed confused if I returned some stuff which was non returnable but then one of the h ladies came and she went in the back of the store to verify if I was telling the truth I think by going to brought the cctv footage . She came back after a few minutes and apologized for the double billing mistake . I was glad Atleast she verified and processed a return amount . I was relieved that atleast that saved me a call to cc company to cancel the charge. This just left a bad taste in my mouth for future trips .

To be honest, I've only been to Harwin once before this day. IYKYK. It's a place to get a deal on…read moreprom dresses and Indian/Pakistani traditional attire among other things. My friends and I had our fairly regular brunch date, and someone mentioned going to Harwin after to try on lehengas in preparation for our friend's mehndi party. One of my friends in the group was apprehensive about shopping, but we ended up going. The future bride took us to Roop Sari Palace and showed us the way including the aunties that helped us find dresses in our size. It's basically by bra size in inches. There were so many to choose from that it was a little bit overwhelming at first. Everything was just so beautiful. I literally wanted a couple of them and was torn between two before I settled on one. I must've tried 8-9 different ones which aren't that easy to get on/off. We spent 3 hours there. I even saw some in the kids section that I thought would be fine so that I wouldn't have to hem the long lehenga skirt. I actually didn't try any from the kids section though. Lol. There are only 2 dressing rooms that are small. You could barely hang up 2 or 3 pieces because the skirts are so full, and some have a petticoat. We and other young ladies shared them going in and out at times and asking for our phones or shoes. It felt like a fashion show similar to the movie 27 Dresses where she tries on all of her bridesmaids dresses. There was one particular auntie who was helpful and brought us more lehenga designs we might like, tighten the skirt or plete/drape the dupatta. Mine was on sale for a fair price considering all the beading/sequins, and our bride-to-be friend did some price bargaining for our other friend. I had to get mine altered since the lehenga was too long, and I lost so much weight after purchasing it 5 months ago. I took it to a tailor, but they do offer tailoring here. I didn't want to drive all the way back here just for that. It's a beautiful, traditional lehenga, and I enjoyed wearing it at the mehndi party and got many compliments. I hope I get to wear it again or at least pieces of it for different occasions. I'm told there are plenty of other stores nearby like this one, so I'm sure you're bound to find something you like that fits your fancy.

I still remember going there for my older sister's wedding, where they helped me find all of my wedding outfits. The prices were very reasonable, the quality was amazing, and most importantly, the service was exceptional. What truly sets this store apart is the consistency of their service. The staff has always been kind, caring, and genuinely helpful--something that is rare and hard to find at many other Indian clothing stores. When it came time for my own wedding, I returned and purchased many of my wedding outfits from here as well, and once again, the experience was wonderful. Even though I've since moved away, this store remains my go-to whenever I need an Indian outfit. I'll have my mom visit the store, FaceTime me, and help pick something out because nothing compares to their quality, service, and pricing. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for beautiful Indian clothing and an experience that feels personal and trustworthy.

I, along with my family, always go to the accessories section for bangles! Bangles, bangles, bangles. They're the least expensive you'll find in "Little India" - that's for sure. They have a beautiful assortment as cheap as $3 per pack, versus other shops (like Roop Sari) that sells theirs for $10-15 per pack. Let me begin by saying I've been a loyal customer of Fariha's for 4 years and there is a reason why…read moreI am loyal to her business and only her business. She used to have a boutique in her house and she was kind enough to allow me to come during crazy hours and days just to look/buy outfits. Then, her business grew and now she has a store. Thankfully I had built a business relationship with her that I could email/message/text her to get an idea of what was in stock. This was extremely helpful for me because I'm big on online shopping and I live in Saudi so I can't easily visit her store location. Fariha was kind enough to send me pictures and videos of items I would possibly be interested in. The videos had detailed explanation. I would chase quick pay her the money and have the item reserved for me when I arrive. Stress free. Why do I like her company better than the rest? 1) At the other store that is next to fariha's they play a shady game of not putting the price on the clothes so they can name any price they want to whenever someone asks them. I am a Pashtun and often times get confused for an Arab. When I went to a store near fariha's I asked the price of an outfit and I was quoted a very high price whereas when my mother in law (who is Indian) asked for the price in Urdu she was given a price 100 dollars less than what I was told. Whether you think that's fair or not, at least with Fariha the prices are clearly labeled. No guessing/bargaining game there. 2) At poshak which is a few stores down, their outfits are outdated and unreasonably priced. At fariha's Store everything is new and I believe are original and very fairly priced. 3) Unlike other businesses that are pushy and rude (that you often see at the eid bazaar) you will not get that with Fariha's. I won't lie, when I first went to the store I was disheartened to not see Fariha there, but the young girl who works there is just as knowledgeable, polite, and accommodating. I love how they are with the times and have an active instagram account. I follow them religiously on instagram so that I can see what products they have. You will not ever be disappointed with the work and price of the outfits you get.
