This review has nothing to do with in-store shopping. TJ MAXX & MARSHALLS has changed the set-up of its on-line shopping experience which is AWFUL! It's small, 4 columns of merchandise which cannot be completely viewed if using a mobile device. Macy's has now regained my online shopping which is much more convenient and offers in-store pickup. read more

My cousin and I were trying to enjoy a nice shopping day. Personally, I love TJ Max cute clothes and good vibes, except today was different... whoever was working today, March 13, 2026, at the dressing rooms was the rudest person I have ever met at a clothing store in my life. She was short with a bob like bobs are for baddies not mean people. For starters she snatched the clothes from me, proceeded to not talk at all, she did not say you're welcome when I thanked her for her help, and had major attitude. Secondly, this is most likely company policy but why do we count items that are a set or connected to eachother as two things? It's not my choice that they're stuck together and it's a pain to try on anyways. I only ever want one piece out of the two and sometimes there will be one item on a hanger then at checkout it's suddenly supposed to be a set so I offer to pay full price and I can't get it??? Ridiculous. Back to the story, When I reached my ten item limit I still had more clothes and the lady shoved an item back in my hands and in the rudest way told me to leave it in my cart. When we asked to exchange things in our cart that we'd rather try on first to not make two trips she said NO, like what was the point of saying no are you genuinely that mean? I wish I was the only person this happened to but the lady also slammed down another girls shorts on a chair. I understand policy and not exceeding the limit but be kind about explaining it, I don't work there! Especially if we count sets as two separate items then they should be sold SEPARATELY. Unfortunately that's not all, what really took the cake was the fact that when I got out of the dressing room the woman took all of the things in my cart and hung them up after she told me I had to leave them. Imagine the utter shock on my face when my cart disappeared... I'm not at TJ magic show! The lady wanted to make my cart and clothes disappear... well I have a trick it's called KINDNESS. Tj max alone and every other worker there deserves a 5 star but consider your employees and maybe work on how we treat other people and customer service. I hope my review doesn't affect the GOOD employees or the clothes I so adore, but seriously 2 stars was generous. read more

The absolute worst customer service. Associates as so unprofessional and disrespectful, will walk away without any acknowledgment.

I did not at all appreciate Dominica M's high-pressure tactics to get me to donate to the store's charity. She asked if I wanted to donate, I said no. She asked me if I wanted to donate, I said no, thank you. She asked me if I wanted to donate, I told her that I don't donate to charities that I haven't researched. She said it's for a good cause, I responded that they're all good causes, but some charities get money to the cause, while others over-pay their executives. She said that is only 43cents. It was at this point that I realized that I was in a high-pressure sales situation, that she wasn't going to take no for an answer, that I wasn't going to be allowed to pay for my things until I forked over the money she was demanding, so I allowed myself to be bullied into giving up the cash. After buying $72 worth of fun treasures, I left the store angry at Dominica M over my having been so effectively bullied, angry at TJ Maxx for encouraging its employees to engage in these horrible tactics, angry at myself for allowing myself to be so effectively pushed around. I drove past two similar stores to go here, specifically. I won't be doing that anymore. read more

Favorite store/boutique staff very friendly very dog nice store is very clean. It's like the tv show cheers everyone knows us in the store mom me and our dog Bentley. I really really loveeeeeeeeee this store Bentley my dog and I go here all the time and lots of people get to know us both they get a kick out of Bentley and how well he behaves in stores read more

I tried to return an item bought in line that was sent and charged in duplicate and was rudely turned away asking me to go back and deal with the online people! Very disappointing. Anyway I want to return something can you send me a return label? Thanks. read more

We found some great clothes.... but the cashier "1009" was exceptional. She did not make us feel rushed or stressed. She separated out items since we were paying together but leaving separately. Wonderful personality read more

Great selection of clothes, home goods and decor. Most employees are very pleasant. I wish they would open earlier than 11am on Sundays. read more
