Lorna McCluskey moved to Naples after operating a store with the same name for 23 years in Massachusetts. She opened her shop here in September of 2015. The store was so successful that in 2017 she bought the space next door and doubled the initial 1,700 square feet. Now there are two Twice as Nice locations, the one I visited in the Design District and another store three miles north in the Outback Steak plaza. According to their Facebook page they "take all women's and teens clothing and accessories in excellent condition. Clothing, shoes, hats, pocketbooks, jewelry...anything women can wear! Must be less than 2 years old for the most part, on hangers if possible, no wrinkles or stains and "nicer" labels. Ann Taylor, Chicos, J.Crew, Lilly Pulitzer, Tory Burch, Banana Republic, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Burberry,...you get the idea! We take things on Sunday, Monday , Tuesday, and Wednesdays- no appointment necessary. We leave things on the rack for 2 months and it is a 50/50 split. It's a great way to make money! Or...just come in and shop- we need both consignors AND shoppers :)." I was impressed with the large selection of clothing and accessories. There are three full rooms of apparel. New items are added onto the floor on Fridays. I liked how nicely everything was displayed with photos of fashion icons like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. There is a designer section for the upscale brands. I went to the Twice as Nice for my boyfriend wjo was starting a new job. He needed a lot of items in a hart to fit size. I was helped by the most fantastic associate, James. He took a lot of time to make recommendations and find styles that would work for our budget. I even sent my boyfriend back to look for himself. He enjoyed working with James too. read more

This business is on a downward slide. I was recently in the shop and though I was browsing, the sales person kept following me around. I said I was hoping to find something to wear to an upcoming event. Her attitude changed to nasty when I said,let me look around and I will let you know if I need help. She said you have been looking for a while. What do you want? Excuse me, I said I am looking around. She was impatient and said there may not be anything here for you, especially your size. I was astounded. I was embarrassed and humiliated. I asked if I could speak to the manager. I AM THE OWNER,. I Commented on her very rude unprofessional behavior and she said there is nothing wrong with MY behavior, I deal with you people and your type. We are closing, so please leave. I was hurt, and embarrassed by someone who is an OWNER. I will NEVER return and will spread the word to people on FB. A SHAMEFUL EXPERIENCE. read more

I had been down visiting a friend and she had wanted to stop at this shop to look around. I was game to see what they had. i anticipated visiting a smelly dark shop with old clothes in somewhat worn condition. This is usually what I encountered in the past. Instead it was two stores side by side, one for women and the other for men and children. My friend went into the woman's shop and I decided to browse the men's shop. I was very surprised since most of the goods were categorized in different sections of the store. They had menswear, some with the tags still on them as well as an entire area of clothing just for people who golf. There was a section for higher end designer clothing, Burberry, Armani, etc. as well as shoes [most looked brand new] all of which were on consignment. Each item had a tag and a bar code to identify the person who consigned it. The goods are dated and the prices fall as time goes on. 45% of the sales are paid back to the person who placed the merchandise in the shop for consignment. The woman I spoke with as to how the system worked was very knowledgeable and explained the system to me. It is a great place to browse as well as to shop. Even if you have little interest in shopping there, but want to get some money for merchandise you no longer wear, it would be a great place to start. Go take a look! read more

Do not go to this place unless you want to Waste your time. This is not an establishment that honors prices and instead behaves like a bazar where you need to negotiate prices. I went there 1/6/2021- they had multiple signs in the store that said "any black and blue tags are 50% off" ok- - - I pick a few items and I asked a lady to validate that all black and blue tags are 50% off - then she said well actually all items with F are not qualified as 50% off, all items with E are marked as 50% off. Ok. Then I get to the register and upon realizing that I was getting a good deal on the items I picked the so called manager pulled the items from my hand saying that the items are actually not on sale despite being marked with a blue or black label and with an E. If you are not a serious establishment able to honor promotions - do not run said promotions, moreover if your associates mislabeled an item you feel like your are missing on a good profit - you still have to honor this price ! There are a lot of clothes. And a lot of repeat customers. I found everything from tennis and golf wear to formal wear and coats. Lots of brands I like to shop. Prices were fair and they opened a new store in north Naples and we're giving out 20% off coupons. I am going back! read more

This business has gone down hill in the past year and a half. The new people are nasty, do not care about the customers, the stores is a mess, you are not greeted when you come in . The workers too busy on their cell phones talking Spanish. Is a third world country there now. The clothing is mixed up , no control over the categories..... read more

This is a store to check out often. Allow plenty of time to look through their ample inventory. There is a variety of merchandise including clothing, shoes and jewelry. Prices are reduced at regular intervals. They variety of styles is wonderful. I was there yesterday with friends and we each have our own unique style. We all came away with great purchases. Prices are very reasonable, staff is always friendly and there are an ample number of dressing rooms. Follow on line for additional specials weekly. They rip off consignees (consigners?). Your brand name items become theirs if not sold within 50 days.. yet they mark up prices during the 50 days. Seems dishonest - Overprice the nice clothes during the 50 days in which they split the price, then reduce it after 50 days when they keep all the profits - costumer is happy because of low prices, owner is happy because she gets more money than if she split costs, and she gets free inventory, but the consignee gets ripped off!! I even offered to pick up my stuff if it's not sold. They need to inventory it for the profit sharing, so why would it be any extra burden to return items not sold? Not all consignment shops do this. Go to one that will let you take your stuff back if it's not sold. They're more incentivized to sell your items faster!! Ones that do this just want free inventory. Rip off, but I do love the lower prices on brand name items that they confiscated from other consignees!! read more
