I went to TJ Maxx looking for some work clothes. I'm a full-time teller worker and will be traveling to my office in Maryland soon and was in desperate need of a wardrobe update. I found way more than I planned. I tried on 19 pieces of cloths lol;) I purchased several fall tops, cute and comfi ankle boots, a soft cream-colored sweater, New Balance running shoes, socks and activewear! I also found several hair care products such as shampoo and styling cream. This location was totally stocked with fall and winter gear. There were even some Halloween t-shirts and leggings. The store was organized and easy to navigate. I typically purchase items from the clearance section. However on this trip I only purchased a few clearance items and the rest was regular price. My check out wait was less than five minutes and the cashier was super friendly. I'll be stopping by this location more often!

TJ Maxx is a discount department store that sells apparel, home goods, accessories, etc. I prefer it much more than their sister company, Marshalls. I rarely ever end up buying any apparel for myself, and although the kids apparel selection is smaller, sometimes I can find some cute items for my youngest. Even though they're a discount store, TJ Maxx does carry some designer brands so it doesn't necessarily mean that the prices are low. My favorite part of the store is the home goods section. Although their other sister company, HomeGoods, has a much larger section, I feel like the items here are marked at a better price point. They rotate their products often, so if you find something you like, don't wait because it may not be there the next time you go. This also means that every shopping trip won't be the same since they's usually something new to check out. The cashiers are usually pretty friendly and the return process has been easy. So far I haven't had any issues with their service.

Can never go wrong with lower prices. Fairly clean and found some apparel and shoes. Changing rooms were clean. I don't shop much at all, but definitely will come back.

Defective sandals and TJ MAXX refused an exchange.

Store closes at 9:30 but doors locked at 9. Update your hours if you don't abide by them

I was wondering about this place before I moved here. My family member said this is where she gets…read moreher wine. And she has been eyeballing a frig. We walked around, we looked at a lot of stuff, but I'm not looking to become a hoarder. So I passed on everything. Seems like some of the food we looked at, was expired, or expiring soon. So, look at the dates before you buy. I think I will pass on any food. I looked at the wine, just running my eyes though the wine section, finally I found one, I like red wine, it wasn't at eye level, I had to look a shelf down. I purchased 1 bottle; it was $3.99, and my wine app couldn't tell me anything about it. And I didn't like it! I might go back and get a floor rug, but other than that, if I'm in the area, I might stop in. Customer service was ok.

Ehhh, I can't recommend this place…read more Lots of expired groceries! Expired everything, in fact. Other liquidation stores in Jax have occasional expired goods, but this store is FULL of expired stuff. Dangerous, and idk how it's legal. I found my way here out of curiousity to explore the various liquidation centers in Jax. As a Philadelphian, we have a few of these places starting to pop up, but the Jax ones are well established and have been there a long while. I feel sad for lower income shoppers who either don't know better or have no means of getting around to other stores, but this place is not only full of dangerously expired goods (which ought to be given to a food pantry for IMMEDIATE USE, or thrown out), they are overpriced at that. Coincidentally, I saw inventory there that I'd shopped at other stores. Some Cat&Jack (Target brand) pjs were $6.99 but they had been on clearance direct from Target a month before for $5!!!! Also, plush Rudolph reindeer priced at $7.99 had also been $5 on clearance at BJs! These are not deals, folks! I bought absolutely NOTHING and that is hard for me to do at a discount store. I can always turn trash to treasure and fix up or repurpose anything to help myself or my charity efforts, and I felt dirty to touch things in this store. I sent my husband and child to the car because I didn't want them around it all. Super disappointed and sad for the people who have no other options but to shop here.
