I grew up thrift shopping and I feel this place is kind of expensive.. have yet to find any steals. It's laid out and labeled very well. Nice selection of women's clothing. There is an ok selection of men's, children's clothes. Ok selection for shoes. Also an ok selection for furniture. They do have a $1 section so that's nice. I will say if you are In need, they will take care of you. A woman came in with 7 kids and found clothes for EACH of them. 20 pieces each!!! Their philanthropy is wonderful. Today, President's Day is a 50% off sale! Amazing - and such a popular deal the parking lot was full, the shopping carts all being used, and the line for checkout (and 7 agents to help) was full the whole time! The prices are fair or awesome, depending on the item, and many MANY a gem can be found. Ok ok, then why 4 stars? Downside - No Changing Rooms and maybe 4 mirrors in the entire place. So, get creative, do what I do, wear tight leggings and a strappy tight top so you can try literally everything on over your clothes. Second down side, I see no "go back racks" so now and then you'll find clumps of discarded hopefuls from someone's pile or cart and they need to get moved back to their homes. But, silver lining on these small clouds - RETURN POLICY! You have 2 weeks to try your stuff on at home and if it didn't fit just right, bring it back With Tags On and your receipt and you can Exchange your item for another of same price! Store credit for that return day only. Amazing! I usually go to a Good Will on Blanding but this place is def my new fave second hand spot!

everyone needs to know that the CRM program and shelter is NOT what it's cracked up to be. I…read morestarted out first at the women's shelter and while I admit it was really nice to have a hot meal, shower, and a bed to sleep in there are many problems that they don't tell you about. First, there's no screening process for those who stay at the shelter except for hepatitis (which you have to have a card within 4 days clearing you). while good there's many other issues they don't screen for. They don't check to see if you're "clean" meaning if you have open sores or even body lice [which 5 people had while I was there] which could put others at risk for health issues. They also didn't check for drugs being brought in or even small knives -a lady in the bed next to me had a comb that concealed a knife - correct me if I am wrong but this is a danger to anyone including staff. Second, the showers.. yes, you can take a shower, however, your time for a shower is 7 minutes. This time IS NOT from the time you are in the shower...this 7 minutes starts as soon as you walk through the bathroom door. So, you are lucky if you get wet. Third, every piece of clothes that one takes off for the shower is thrown into a large trash can, which they gather to wash the clothes. ALL CLOTHES ARE WASHED TOGETHER IN ONE BIG WASHER. Now this problem goes back to previous statements all the clothes put together opens everyone up to the body issues (sores etc.) as well as possibly spreading STD from one person to another. off to the side of the shelter you see a big building which we were all told was the housing for those in the life builders program..along with some offices a clinic and bathroom. A few people went from the shelter to the program but I guess it didn't click as they ended up 3 days later back at the shelter. I went from the shelter into the program and I admit I had some expectations thinking I'd have a nice room to myself.. wrong. You ended up having close to 30 ladies confined to one floor! Everyone had to share rooms with others, showers and such. You basically could be using the bathroom and someone walk in wearing a bathrobe take it off and get into the shower in front of you...no privacy at all. Many described the situation as being a vamped up jail setting. Everyday you had classes you had to take which I have to say were a little odd and didn't really address the problem at hand which was the addiction everyone there was fighting. The "counseling" that everyone was required to have as well is NOT done by licensed professionals but by the instructors or even office workers. I can honestly say I didn't do shit when it came to counseling because I could tell from day one it was a crock of crap and everything you shared at any time was not private. Everyone knew your business. Oh and this is the most important information to know. They emphasize from early on that the life builders program is free and helps you save money to assist you when you leave. This is partly true HOWEVER as soon as you gain any type of income you have to repay them for everything they did for you. A better explanation of this... when I came into the program I had nothing to my name. I didn't know that I had gotten disability and found out while I was there. They sent me a check for 4,000,000 and I was really happy and wanted to put it into the bank right away...I WASN'T ALLOWED TO !! As soon as they became aware of this check I had to repay every cent of the program and pay rent for the room I was sharing with another person. Out of the 4,00,000 disability check after everything was taken out I saw only 25.00 dollars! Correct me if I am wrong but they had zero right to take money specifically for a disability I had. This is just downright wrong given that my disability affected movement and my ability to function daily. While I was there with all these ladies several were stealing from others and using drugs right in the open. Yeah we were tested but they found ways around it. The program is just a downright lie or scamming people so they can make money. It's not what it's supposed to be.

The extra space aims to give the customers a more streamlined and pleasurable shopping experience. There's a noticeable difference between this location and the previous, and I enjoyed being able to browse the expansive salesfloor without feeling confined. Various furniture, knick knacks, dishware, books, DVDs, clothing, etc. are strategically displayed for your convenience, and there's always an associate nearby to answer any questions. CRM has various sales and promotions going on during the week for Seniors (Monday), Military (Wednesday), and First Responders (Friday). This location was one of my go-to stops while building my home and trying to decorate it, inexpensively. Being in the Fruit Cove area, it sometimes has some amazing treasures to be found! One can recognize the effort to keep items organized in each 'room' of the store. Some of the rooms change with the seasons, but also with the amount of merchandise on hand for the purpose of said room ( office, electronics, home decor, kitchen, etc.) This particular location seems to have more home care/decor items/electronics than it does clothing items. I have two serious complaints about this particular location. I'm not sure what can be done about their drop off location behind the store. There is ALWAYS a sign stating that the drop off is closed, yet it has piles of items that have been dropped off and not attended to! There is nearly ALWAYS a stack of well-worn furniture that was unacceptable to sell that is awaiting pick up by sanitation services. And the second is that in the NUMEROUS years I've been visiting this location ... their restroom has NEVER been open to the public. I would think this is some sort of code violation, but I don't know for sure. However, it does make for a problem when one brings a child into the store or needs facilities quickly, themselves.

The thrift store is 2 full rooms, one side has a mix of clothing, kids & kitchen and more, the other side is more homegoods, books & crafts. I tried on a jean jacket and was tempted by a couple sweaters- pricing a fair and I love the heart of this store- helping adults with different abilities. The young man who greeted me was very sweet, I hope to see him again when I return!
