I have to say I was very impressed with Nordstrom Rack and will definitely be adding it to my list of places to shop in Jacksonville.

The cashier Monique the worse attitude telling me to call my bank because the purchase wasn't going through. Like how dare her! As if I will be shopping without the Funds. This past July I made another Purchase and the system had a glitch. Can you believe I was charged 75.00 but never received my merchandise? I kept going back into the store to show the transaction was processed and posted and I still didn't get my items the manager Joshua uttered something in Spanish as I go I didn't understand. Super unprofessional as well as the manager Karen another rude lady. She promised to keep my items that were ALREADY PAID FOR IN HER OFFICE AND THEY STILL HAD THE AUDACITY TO PUT ALL THE ITEMS THAT DID NOT BELLNG TO THEM BACK ON THE FLOOR FOR SALE. Those managers do not care. I was treated like trash. All they had to do was reboot the stupid register but of course why would Karen know how to use the register as a store manager?

My spouse…read moreand I went in to find a sofa due to the supply chain issues causing months-long delivery delays from most new furniture places (La-Z-Boy told us six months!). The staff here was friendly but not pushy while we browsed, and we found the store easy to navigate. Everything we saw appeared to be in good condition and made by quality brands. We settled on a sofa that met our needs, and an employee happily helped us to measure it, even providing a measuring tape. They were having issues with their registers when we went to pay, but as someone who works with computers, I can't fault them for that. They worked hard to get them fixed and process our payment, and they handled arranging a delivery -- even working as the intermediary when we needed to change some of the delivery arrangements.

We walked around, we looked at a lot of stuff, but I'm not looking to become a hoarder. So I passed on everything. Seems like some of the food we looked at, was expired, or expiring soon. So, look at the dates before you buy. I think I will pass on any food. I looked at the wine, just running my eyes though the wine section, finally I found one, I like red wine, it wasn't at eye level, I had to look a shelf down. I purchased 1 bottle; it was $3.99, and my wine app couldn't tell me anything about it. And I didn't like it! I might go back and get a floor rug, but other than that, if I'm in the area, I might stop in. Customer service was ok.

A recommendation, due to this time of the year being when people are Christmas shopping, I'd recommend that Target double bag or put toy items in their red bags. Sometimes I have to bring me kiddo with me, and I don't want to give up the magic of Christmas because his item is visible (I will say, normally they do a better job of concealing toys during pickup trips).
