Recently visited with my DD who was in from out of town. She is starting a new job and needed a few work essentials like skirts, pants, blouses. She had great success in her search! We were impressed with the quality of items, the prices and the variety of colors and sizes. We also found the Attendant who was manning the changing rooms area to be very professional and helpful when we were looking for alternate sizes. I have to say I was very impressed with Nordstrom Rack and will definitely be adding it to my list of places to shop in Jacksonville. read more

Value of this store is great. Basically paying half the retail price of Nordstrom's. I do have to say I only looked in the foot ware section. Great selection of shoes and sneakers. Bought me a pair of Perry Ellis shoes normally $125 but got it at a steal for $50. Store is well organized and the service was excellent. Staff constantly asked if there was anything they could do for us and at check out they thanked us for our business. Conveniently located In town center over by seasons 52 which was a nice walk. Hope to be back soon to see what other great deals they have. read more

You can occasionally find a decent value priced item, however, most of the stuff just looks like rejects from prior seasons that never sold. You have to peruse through all the racks to try to find the one little diamond in the rough that might be there. Cosmetics, bedding and miscellaneous stuff are grossly overpriced for what should be a discount place. Quality of goods is so-so. Like I said you have to hunt for something really great. Just because there is a name brand on it doesn't mean it is quality. Sale prices at top department stores have better prices, better organized clothing, and definitely better selections. I stopped trying to find anything there. Just a waste of my time. read more

You treat your employees (whether they are in the store or the warehouse). The prices in Nordstrom Rack are in no way a deal. HIGHLY OVERPRICED!! Your selection is a lot of the same thing. Maybe if you treated your employees better, you would have less injuries, they would work harder, and may even have some ideas to improve sales. Your employees are people too. I received a Nordstrom gift card from my new apartment complex LongLeaf at St Johns for the annual sale event. Can I tell you that there were a few good pieces in the store. Nordstrom was giving a $500 gift card away. Of course, I did not win. I would like to come back and go to the indoor restaurant. It looked very chic and posh. I was not impressed with the store though. Unfortunately, I did not use my gift card but will have to come back to purchase something. I will eat and shop on my return visit. read more

One star for service. Selection is good. It's 1:53PM on a Sunday. I'm counting 43 !!! people in line to check out. Because there are only two people working the checkout registers and they are slowwwwer than Lizzo running a 40 yard dash. This is unacceptable. Get some self checkout lines if management here cannot run this store efficiently. read more

Kind of like Nordstrom but all discounted. Sometimes the shoes definitely came straight from a Nordstrom but sometimes I wonder about the clothes. They just dont seem to be the same quality as Nordstrom clothing. Maybe Nordstrom quality is dropping. I know that recently I purchased from Nordstrom and was highly disappointed with my purchase. In the past that would not have been the case. Rack seems like the outlet mall of Nordstrom. Almost made for Nordstrom for the Nordstom Rack for us to feel like we might be getting a deal. This was my first trip ever to Nordstrom's Rack. So many cloths and shoes...a girls dream! I was looking for cloths for my upcoming trip to the DR. I started in the front of ladies cloths and made my way back to the clearance section. I looked at a few rows of tops and slacks and found about eight items to try on, which included several tops, shorts, dress slacks and a sports bra. I also went to the clearance section in the ladies shoe department. I found the cutest Fergalicious brown sandal heels for $19, originally $68. The cashier was so pleasant! At checkout she suggested I sign up for their rewards programat, so I did. I will definitely stop by Nordstrom's Rack again to satisfy my clothes, shoes and purse habits, I mean needs LOL. But I will stick with the clearance rack as the regular rack is a little pricey. read more

I came here the other day on the hunt for some deals for my upcoming trip. I was surprised to find that there was adequate parking in front of the store even though it was a Saturday afternoon. As I entered and explored the store it was very clean and organized. It is organized for men and women and then organized into the type of item you are looking for. The use of signs on each of the racks of clothing was very helpful! Not only were there clothes but there was also accessories and home items. I was alittle disappointed to see the "sale" prices on certain clothes items. I am used to going to Marshall's and TJ Maxx for those very cheap deals that won't break the bank. I learned my lesson! However, the accessories were priced very well! If you want a deal on designer names then I'd give this place a whirl but don't except stellar deals! read more

We are finally getting an actual Nordstrom at The Town Centre... Yay! I am thankful we've had Nordstrom Rack and I'm thankful we'll continue to have it even after Nordstrom opens because the prices are so much cheaper! I have found really cute skirts here are great prices. Yes, you have to search through the racks some, but it's much more organized than say a TJ Maxx. I'm always shopping and I'm always on the lookout for great deals on clothing! I've also found clothing items for hubby here too at great prices. Love the home area of the store. It's not a huge area, but I always take a look to see what they have. I was very excited to find out that the St Johns Town Center was getting a Nordstrom and a Nordstrom Rack! Being a thrifty shopper this place is great to find deals and I have definitely purchased some high class items for low class price. I think that the store is set up nicely, kind of like a Marshalls or Rods in that you will find a variety of brands and there are several different sections. When you walk in (and they recently changed the lay out) to your immediate left you will find Home goods, candles, pillows and blankets, etc. Colognes and perfumes, scarves, hat and belts, restrooms, kids clothes and the beginning of shoes (size smallest to largest). In the middle you will find deeply discounted women's clothes (towards the back middle) plus size, designer ware in the middle middle, active wear to the right back. To the immediate right you will find womens purses, jewelery, deeply discounted men's ware, designer men's clothes and shoes. Tip : you can use your Nordstrom credit card at the rack, so you can accumulate more rewards points :) Employees at the rack are also very helpful and accommodating! read more

I really like Nordstrom Rack. The store is off Big Island Drive. It is close to Brio Restaurant. It is a little tucked back so you can't see it until you enter the parking lot. The store is a good size and has quite a few different departments. I always go in to look at the plus size clothing, shoes and to dream over the handbags. They often have great deals and during holidays they will offer an extra amount off of sale items. I have been able to find some sweaters at extremely good prices. The customer service is always wonderful and employees are willing to help. The store is clean and well organized. The store also provides alterations in store in case you need to adjust any garments. They also do alterations for items not bought at Nordstrom Rack. read more

I have been to many Rack's in Florida, California, and Utah... and this is my least favorite one. Staff isn't friendly and they aren't very helpful. Aside from a few that have been nice most act like they are too busy to help or don't want to help and are very dismissive. I love the Utah one and that is definitely my favorite but I also liked all of the ones in California. Maybe it's just because I'm used to the service of those but it's still Nordstrom and they should all work the same. The prices here are more in line with the California stores and I don't know if it's because we're a "beach" community but if I'm going to spend that much money I'd rather do it in Cali or shop at Nordstrom. I rarely find anything here worth buying but never had any issues spending a ton in Cali or Utah, which I guess is good for me because my card is paid off, lol. read more

Some days the shopping stars just align and Nordstrom rack has all the right things! Other times you might wander in and wander out empty handed. The layout of stores like this is always a little intimidating and scattered, but if you put in the work you can score some amazing outfits. Literally I shopped here today like it was my job. It takes about that much time to go through racks, pull things to try, find more racks, try those things on, then go through the shoes, and then go through everything you might have missed! Prices are mostly good although they qualify Ugg as designer clothing and I'm not sure I agree with that. Can't complain though, with the right amount of patience and a discerning eye, this place is great for finding new, trendy and potentially designer clothing at great prices. Score! read more

SO I love love love this Nordstrom Rack! I've been shopping here since I first moved to jacksonville about 4 years ago. I remember coming in here for the first time prior to the start of my freshmen semester and getting my first pair of NIke & New balance tennis shoes. And even from my most recent visit(tonight) I still am in love. This is the kinda store that you have to go in being willing to dig a bit . Its not as prim and proper like it's older sister Nordstrom across the street but in my opinion Nordstrom Rack is much better to find great deals on clothes and shoes. So starting with the shoe department I find they have a great selection. There selection is constantly changing though, meaning they are frequently getting shipments of shoes so what you see on the shoe rack changes. So if you come in one day looking for a certain shoe type you may not find it that exact day but there's a great chance you'll find it the next time. In general this store has an awesome selection of tennis shoes. All styles and colors and the best part is the prices are marked down from what the regular price would be for a pair of brand new NIkes. Another tip I'll share is applying for the Nordstrom Debit card. At first when i was told about it at this location I was skeptical and didnt want some card that would charge me anything or be any sort of scam. The Nordstrom Debit card has be the farthest thing from that. It has been absolutely awesome. I wont give the sales pitch but basically its a free card that just connects your regular debit card and gains you points and free nordstrom money .Totally worth it ! Anyhow, stop by if you haven't at this location. Customer service is great, store is clean, shopping here is fun! What more could you want! read more

If you can get anything for less, why pay the full amount? I repeat that in my head countless times when I'm shopping, and unless it's a gorgeous, rare, and a piece that I know I'll use for years, repeating that sentence usually saves me loads of money. This is where Nordstrom Rack comes in: it helps me save money, find good deals, and scratch that shopping itch. You can shop in store or online. And, if you wanna sign up for rewards, you have that option too! They have a lot of sale on sale events, but very rarely send coupons. Now, two caveats: 1. Don't go there on a weekend unless you like battling your way through multitudes of human beings, and digging through extremely messy racks; and 2. Prepare to wait to checkout. To deal with that, I just time my visit to avoid these mishaps. All in all, it's one of my favorite shops to visit, but be selective and patient, and happy hunting! read more

Let me start out by saying I've been a loyal Nordstrom/ and the rack customer for many years. Going back to 2007 if not earlier. I've spent thousands of dollars throughout the years. Coming from a customer service point of view this is where I will rate this store a 1 if I could I'd give it a 0. I am not sure what is up with the management and the hiring of personals here, the last 2-3 years I've experienced terrible customer service but I continued to return out of the convenience of shopping here and finding good deals. Truthfully the deals are just not that great at this location and the lack of customer service I'll be honest I won't be surprised if this store shuts down. It will be sad if it does because Jacksonville really needs to expand of its higher end stores already. I've come here 3-4x in the last two weeks. Both times I was approached rudely by two employees I can't remember there names because I don't think they had a name tag. Both times told to fix my mask. First time when I was looking at a hat, I wanted to make sure I'd fit my face and looked good when I tried it on by a mirror, I barely even pulled my mask down, no other customer was a round me, actually I was all alone in that corner so it was surprising when the employee suddenly approached me btw not keeping her 6 feet distance and told me to fix my mask. This was 20 seconds of me looking in the mirror to see if a hat fit. I was shocked. Honestly it didn't feel good at all being targeted down in a corner as I tried my mask on. Second time was a week later when I was in the shoe department with my kids. Both not wearing masks because they don't need them. The employee different one found me all alone in the section because honestly I don't like being in a crowded area ever I always tend to be on my own when shopping. She rudely approached and told my son he needed a mask. I told her for medical reasons he can't wear one. You know what she did next. She asked me what the medical reason was.... I replied legally I am not obligated to explain to her my sons medical condition. She went on to say I either have him wear one or I leave the store. I felt humiliated, I can not understand the logic behind her actions. There is no customer service here. The employees are so rude I'm shocked. Nordstrom fix this, because you will loose customers. I will never bring my children into this store and the only time I plan to come in is if I have a return. I understand this whole corona situation but it's gone to far when people are treating people like animals. I've never experienced just horrible treatment. read more

He was quite informative about the Nordstrom rewards program and at the cardholder he did speak to me about points days and he looked to see if I have any available. Nordstrom Rack has my heart! From day one, I've always found the best deals here! Of all the "Racks" I've visited, I love the Jax location best of all! It's smaller, clean, very well organized, and the customer service is impeccable! Malik is a real winner and always has a great attitude! I only have one recurring issue that bothers me at NRack Jax. Fitting room service is a fail. I find that the attendants are always in the back room (hanging clothes, talking, or both) and never out front, or even watching the video monitor to know when costumers approach and need a fitting room. I've watched it happen time and again. So much so that I know the drill... I (along with other costumers usually) stand waiting at the front desk and finally someone (usually it's me) walks past the desk to peek around the corner into the rack room to get someone's attention to help us. After waving them down, I'm always walked right back to the front so the attendant can count my items (or ask me for the number of items) and get a number tag. This should be improved as it's consistently the case, and gets somewhat annoying. However, fitting room service aside, (eye roll) I'm still a fan. All things considered, I can say that Nordstrom Rack Jax has served me quite well! read more

I went to Nordstrom Rack for the first time over the weekend and I was surprised by it. I knew it was a discount store but for some reason I expected it to be nicer that it was. I was slightly disappointed in the layout of everything as I found it rather difficult to find what I was looking for. That being said they do offer so really good name brand items for a fraction of the cost...if you have the patience to sort through all the racks. I love Nordstrom but my wallet says otherwise, so Nordstrom Rack it is!! lol It is always clean and pretty organized. They have stuff for mens, women and kids, stuff for the house too. For us ladies, there are tons of jeans! Right now they have all the swimsuits out. I also love their active wear. And the shoe department is pretty good too. Oh and how can I forget about the bags...I saw a really nice Kate spade one today. Last month I was on a hunt for a North Face fleece jacket and I went to all the other sporting goods store and no one had it on sale... well guess what?! They had it here!!! for 50% off!!! Love this store. Every time I come here the experience is amazing. When I went to a black tie event Valentina, in alterations, alter my dress for me. She did such an great job I came back and she altered two more dresses for me and each time the dress fit like a glove. And did I tell you I got the dress for Nordstrom Rack! I also love their shoe department. It's very challenging for me to fine shoes because of the size I where. But hands down they always have my size and for a great price. I only shop there for shoes. Plus if I wait long enough the shoes from Nordstrom will be sent there and I won't have to pay full price. read more

Today I was here for the first time and last!!! First of all I was requested to wear mask at the entrance, got the mask, went to the restroom, and after that moved the mask under my nose. Almost immediately I was caught by this African-American lady - I assume she was the manager, that told me in a harsh way that I shoul put it on my nose. Fine, I did it. After that I was collecting clothing that I wanted to try and got kinda a lot, to find out that I was able to try on only 10 of maximum and only one trip per person to the fitting room. I went back with all staff I grabbed to the mirror to recheck everything and choose the best 10 I wanted to try. I had 4 jackets in my cart and I didn't want to waste my limit on them, so just decided to try them in front of mirror in the store. Once I put the first jacket on, I was stopped by the same manager in the same not polite way. She said I can't try it there, only In fitting room. Did I put the coat on myself naked? Didn't I touch all this staff already, plus hundred others while choosing something on the racks? After that my sister noticed that this woman was watching after me all the time I was choosing the clothing I wanted to try in fitting room from the pile I already had, plus I noticed other two workers watching me. I turned to see this woman behind me and said her that I am NOT trying anything on anymore! Then she left. I understand that I have to follow the rules, and I did after I was told, but as customer I expect store associates to talk to me in nice and polite way and I don't want to be watched as I am stealing something. I am not local, but my sister is, and no one of us will come to this store again. Plus, I found myself only 1 pair of pants and my sister only 1 pair of shorts For the prices and variety, I would choose TJ Max . It's not even close to normal Nordstrom Rack in CA. THAT SHOE GAME! Who doesn't love Nordstrom Rack? It is all about those shoes because they have a great selection of styles, colors and sizes, (especially in the larger sizes). I really need a pair of navy leather sandals, something cute and strappy. However, navy is always a challenge and true to life, I was not able to find my perfect pair. No problem, I still enjoyed the experience and I am still considering those cute suede magenta slides, a bit impractical but oh so cool!. If I'm lucky, I will find that one cool piece to add to my wardrobe. Last summer it was the perfect black maxi that just works with everything and is one of my favorite summer staples. I have also enjoyed their maxi cardigans which are great travel pieces. This store is a great option for cute accessories and leather bags. However, I was very surprised to see that this store carried home decor and bath items. I am not sure if this is a new change or something I just haven't noticed this in my local store. Absolutely not a good experience. The register stopped working and a manager, Ahmet, who is the only manager at Nordstrom Rack in all of Florida, by the way, with this name was called in to assist. I had to ask after several minutes for him to communicate what was occurring as I seemed to just be standing there. Since the card reader stated that my transaction had already been approved which he verified himself, but I did not have a receipt emailed to me or printed, I was stuck. Just stuck. 30 minutes of nothing...it's waiting to reboot...we don't see it...not sure what to do...left alone at the register. Irritated. Aggravated. Stuck. I could not imagine if this was my mother, grandmother, anyone else I love. Of course, Ahmet disappeared and sent Logan to the register. Logan was just sent in so Ahmet would stop having to answer questions. Logan didn't introduce himself, his position, anything, but started with, "I have just been made aware of the situation..." I politely advised him that I would like to know who he is, his position, etc. Left without anything resolved. Someone will get back to me via email. When you ask? I am not sure either. Will it be in 15 minutes? 24 hours? 48? Who will be contacting me? Apparently, one of the managers. Who knows. All this was no fault of my own, no fault of the cashier's, no ones, but you cannot get back your time or the spoken word. It speaks volumes when customer service is lacking. read more
