Writing this review for the terrible customer service in this location. Yesenia, one of the cashier was very rude and definitely hated her job. I went there to return 2 items that I had purchased online. Labels attached and receipt on hand. She took a deep breath and made me feel like I was committing some sort of fraud. Meanwhile I was purchasing at least $250 worth of items and returning just 2 pieces of clothing. I asked to speak with a supervisor but never showed up. I will take this matter further, because I love Tjmaxx and don't want to stop shopping because of this location. read more

I was extremely appalled today at my visit to this particular t.J.Maxstore, when I was checking out, I just so happen to have a lot of beauty items that were on there, clearance aisle, all of them had the clearance stickers on them and the gentleman that was checking me outside.Oh well, this can't be right.Oh, that can't be right.Well, let me have someone check on this.And they were like nope, that's the wrong price.Nope.That's the wrong price nope.That's the wrong price and I'm like.Well, what is the right price?And why are they marked that way in your clearance????? then he goes to tell me there's an original ticket on a dog bed and he says the price isn't right? And I'm like, what do you mean the price isn't right? It's not even a clearance thing. Nobody's changed the price. There's an original ticket on here and again. He has some Indian lady. Come over and look at it and say, yep, that's the wrong price. Somebody needs to do something in this store about wrong pricing. not only was clearance asiles a complete disarray but you can't trust them! I stopped by this TJ Maxx location for the first time last week after eating dinner nearby. I hit the jackpot! I found two pair of shoes, several pair of shorts and the softest nightgown set ever. Oh and a bathing suit too. Most of the items I purchased were on clearance except for the shoes and nightgown. This location was a nice size store which was clean and well organized. Service was friendly and I didn't wait long in line to check out. It was also conveniently located not far from 295. I typically love this store! I can find anything from work out stuff, makeup, shampoos/ hair products, and they always have the best kitchen and specialty aisle! The clothes are nice and good priced. But can be a hit or miss in quality. I have bought some bras that I thought fit well. And after I got home they really didn't work. And then fell apart really fast. Nothing like a wire popping out and stabbing you. Also I used to go here for good quality hands free phone holders.. the last few have broke on me. The backs on them have gone down hill. The cashiers are typically fast, even though they are good at what they do, and put you through a maze of looking through stuff, while you wait for a cashier, so you buy extra that you didn't come in for. I bought some cute nail stickers here, that lasted longer then the color stay, and was only 4.99. I received so many compliments. Glad to see the fitting rooms back up and running. I never understood the whole fitting rooms closing so long during covid. Sorry you can't try our clothes on in the store, but you can buy them and return them if they don't fit. This is one of my fav tjmaxx to shop at in town. I enjoy shopping in all departments as it seems to have a better selection and is more organized than other stores. TJ Maxx is like a fancy Big Lots with clothing and other items that don't sell well at other stores. You can really find a a good price on some things you desire when shopping here. Cheap designer brand clothing, kitchenware, bedding, curtains, etc. This location is well stocked and organized. The people working here are friendly and helpful. read more

I started some small talk and she straight away went into talking about how i went to a different T.J. I was explaining how i was near and just decided to stop by. Great location in a plaza with lots of stores I like to shop at. The store carries a lot of designer brand clothes at discount prices. This store was well stocked and was very clean and bright. There was a well organized purse and shoes section in the store. It was easy to find the size of shoes I was looking for quite quickly. The stores carries clothes for both men and women. There was even a section with really cute kid clothing. I was doing some Christmas shopping and was happy to see gift ideas on table displays. In the Home section you can find everything from frying pans to bed linens and bathroom accessories. I love looking at the gourmet food aisle. TJ Maxx is a staple for most shoppers who want better prices then the big chain stores at the mall and a variety of items! Again we were just looking for stocking stuffers here but I have been here specifically looking for blouses/dresses, kitchen ware, purses, jewelry, workout clothes, perfumes and baby stuff and bought them all here-not at one time though! Today they must have had 4 tables of Christmas gift boxes...most were food items nicely bundled for the customers. I found a really pretty olive wood spoon for my kitchen collection; not needed but just wanted...Be prepared for a little wait to check out but most stores now have you funnel in a single line to then go up to the next cashier available and like the other stores... there never enough cashiers in this time of the year! read more

The TJX brand stores are my spirit animal! I'm a... "more bang for your buck, one stop shop, high end mixed with low end, style meets trend, if I like it I wear it, rebel meets girly" kinda' girl! So TJMaxx usually gives me some of what I'm looking for on any given day! I am a regular TJMaxx shopper and I love that I can find my favorite brand names in one spot (and now online), and at a discounted price! Their jewelry counter is pretty sweet also. I've visited stores near and far and this location is consistent with the others in cleanliness, organization, and selection! TJ Maxx aka my money pit. I have a confession - I love purses. And I buy many of them at TJ Maxx. Why? Because the prices are usually way better than normal retail. Sure, they may be last season, but I don't mind at all. I tend to hit this store any time I'm in the Mandarin area. It's usually clean, well lit, and has a decent number of employees milling about. As with every other discount store, make sure you check your purchases. I found a cute Lodis bag that was Mis-priced. The discount price was actually higher than the MSRP. I brought it to a manager's attention and they were supposedly going to call me with the correct price. Unfortunately the call never came and I never bought the purse. Also make sure you're getting all the accessories with an item. I purchased a Michael Kors purse that was missing the MK fob. None of the purses has the fob. My understanding is people steal them and put them on knock off bags. I called Michael Kors customer service and they sent me the missing fob for my purse free of charge as it was under a 1 year warranty. The clothing selection is decent and there is way more in misses than womens but that always happens. I've also found some good deals on housewares and recently OPI nail polish for $3 a bottle instead of the normal $10. So, bargain shoppers, take some time, peruse the store, and hopefully you'll find a deal! read more

I am from Maryland and although this is a nice store, this location does not have a vast selection of stylish women's clothing.

My wife and daughter enjoy breezing they TJ Max regularly in search of fashions and home goods. Prices are usually good. Seek out their Clearance aisle for extra Savings. Lines can be long, but they really try to move you through. Parking is easy. read more

I tend to forget this TJ Maxx is here... but dang, when I'm in the parking lot it's SO HARD for this bargain shopper NOT to stop in. I've said it in other reviews for different locations: They have Bliss products! I'm so in love with the body scrubs and lotions, please don't buy they all up and leave a few for me.. (if there are any left after I leave.) I haven't had much luck with the clothes recently, but did pick up a cute pair of kicks last visit for a steal. And, maybe it's just me, but the home section seems to be getting a bit better too! Tons of name brands (Yankee Candles y'all) and bedding, towels, cute little accent pieces... and I'll always stop by the pet section to see if there is something cute for Maeby. I'm not really huge into buying clothes unless I really need to so TJ Maxx is always a good spot for me. They seem to update their selection often. Can't beat their prices. Store usually is very clean and the reps by the dressing room are always helpful and attentive. The always have enough staff at the registers so the lines stay pretty short for the most part. You can find anything here not just clothes, home and decor items, jewelry, toys, dog accessories, furniture, etc. All cheaper than you would find anywhere else. read more

While I can't claim to have visited every TJ Maxx in Jacksonville, this one is my favorite above and beyond any I have visited. As is typical with TJ Maxx, you never know what you're going to get (which can be great or terrible). They have everything from bags (designer and cheaper ones) and clothes to home goods and toys. I generally shop here more for home stuff than anything else. I always hit the clearance section (back right corner if you're facing the back wall) and usually find some gems. On my most recent visit I got 2 washcloths (one Ralph Lauren and one Cynthia Rowley) for $2 a piece, a few medium sized towels for $4 a piece, and a clutch for $10 (I've only used it once and got quite a few compliments). The staff is nice enough but, in my experience, not the most accessible. if you're in the shopping area, you're probably not going to see or be able to find an employee. In most cases, you probably won't need one but they tend to stay up front, behind the counter. They now have a weird automated check out that shouts a number at you when that register is open. Personally I find it a little jarring but I also get annoyed when people stand there on their phone as the person working tries to say "I can take the next person!" so I can't complain too much. read more

I used to shop there a lot more. In the last 2 years or so but they raised their prices on bags that are totally outdated. The same bags are rotated and anything on clearance is either total junk or has major defects and no bargain. I've seen the same Michael Kors bags there that are so old and overpriced. Do much better at outlets or when high end department stores have extra off clearance. No longer a bargain if you know your stuff and are up on the fashion scene. read more

I love buying their beauty products and sometimes handbags from this chain.. but regarding the designer handbags, i.e.(Michael Kors) you have to be KNOW your designers and the actual "quality of their handbags" that are sold in retail stores.. for example: You will NOT find the same Michael Kors bag in Nordstrom's as you would in TJ Maxx, the quality will be much lesser, the leather will be of a lower grade, lightweight handbags.. style of purse totally different.. it's like going to the outlet stores and thinking you're getting a deal, when you're Really Not.. You know why because stores like TJ MAXX place their own generated MSRP on their items.. here you are thinking it's worth $300.00(MSRP) and you just got a steal.. WRONG!! I was in the market for a new gym bag recently, when, after breakfast one day, I happened upon this establishment. Now, in my experience, every time i've been to joints such as Ross, Marshalls, Burlington, etc...it was somewhat of a shopping challenge, mainly due to lack of organization....and screaming kids. Wherever I shop...there they are. No parents...just running, screaming anklebiters. I'm happy to say that this was not the case here at TJ Maxx. I walked in and stood at the entrance in wide-eyed astonishment...no random clothing pieces liberally scattered on the floor...each department looking clean and easily accessible by shopping cart (no bumping into this thing or that person, etc.), and low and behold...STAFF members roaming the floor asking people if they need assistance...a real-life miracle before my eyes! I hope the other stores are taking detailed notes. In the end, I got the gym bag I needed at a good price, with a good atmosphere and great service so overall...a very pleasant experience! read more

Good cloths & deals. However, the fitting room employee was rude. She is the rudest person I have every met. First when I walked out the dressing room to get some feedback on an outfit she jumped all over me for stepping one foot outside the dressing area. ( We have twins and a big buggy that wouldn't fit in the waiting area ) . Then coming out she could clearly see I had two items but was snooty and rude counting them.
