Burlington has a lot to offer when it comes to an overstock clothing store; especially for women and children. The downfall is they don't have much of a selection of nice clothing for us big and tall (or should I say short and plump) men. The several occasions I've been here looking I've only found that for us they offer ugly t-shirts with stuff on them like "Cool", "Cool Daddio", Spongebob, or the Jacksonville Jaguars; ain't nobody wanting to wear that stuff. They also carry a selection of cosmetics, a few men's grooming items, shoes, and a few other things. The staff has always been friendly at the checkouts, so that's a plus. read more

This Burlington store was nice and big with lots of merchandise on the racks. The store was clean and bright and a pleasure to shop in. Each department was well stocked and organized neatly. They had a great display of purses and nap sacks displayed by color. Most of the purses were high end brand names. The prices were amazing. Same with the shoe department. This area organized by size. So easy to find your size. It's hit or miss in the shoe department. What you see is all they have. The fitting rooms were nicely lit and they had clean full-size mirrors. The clothes I saw were the latest styles and very well priced. There were plenty of brand named clothes too. Checkout was very friendly and quick. Out doing a little Christmas shopping and decided to stop by the Burlington coat factory off Saint Augustine Road next to the Publix Supermarket. I was surprised at the changes this store has undergone over the years as it has been a long time since I've been in one of their stores. They had everything you could imagine and at great prices. The selection was fantastic. The checkout lines moved briskly. Parking was pretty easy. I will definitely go back to the Burlington Coat Factory to do some more shopping. read more

This Burlington is massive but that's not necessarily a good thing because there is a ton of empty space here. The selection is terrible and the gals working at the customer service desk was not pleasant. I've been wanting to check this Burlington out for a while and there was also a pair of jeans I purchased about a week ago that I needed to return, I swore this girl checked the tags and receipt about 10 times. Wife said the kid section has more than our normal Burlington but the space just seems bigger to me. Back to my regular Burlington. read more

When you walk into this Burlington, it feels as if it is in the middle of a closeout sale or something. It feels sparsely stocked. Items seemed to be pushed more towards the front and there isn't a huge selection. I went in for a specific item and found what I needed. I noticed that packs of t-shirts and socks had been ripped apart and it looked messy. One I found what I needed, I browsed a little and found another item then went to check out. The line was long and felt like it moved very slowly. The customer service leaves something to be desired. The employees were not really rude but weren't welcoming and didn't greet me. When I said hello I got no response and when I asked the cashier how her day was going she ignored me. I just figured they wanted the customers out. I had been to this store a few times previously and it used to feel a little more organized and the associates were pleasant. I guess things have just changed. This isn't a bad store but don't expect a huge selection of merchandise. read more

Unfortunately, Burlington has gone down hill. In the glory days, the store had a great selection of designer purses and clothing. Now? Not so much. The purse area has been changed to have shorter racks - I assume to deter shoplifting. The selection has gotten smaller and nicer brands are pretty much nonexistent. The clothing selection has also changed. The women's section is smaller and frankly not great quality. My last visit I did pick up a work dress that was on clearance for $20. The worker in the fitting rooms kind of nodded her head in the direction of a room and I walked through her and her 3 buddies who were standing around and blocking the path. That was kind of annoying. As with all discount stores, sometimes you can find great deals. I've purchased nice curtains in the past and last year picked up a Liz Claiborne wool coat for $70. There are still deals to be had, but they're getting harder to find. read more

Staff has been helpful and friendly; the store is clean and organized; and I can always find a pretty good bargain, even when I walk in not planning to buy anything! This store has all the inner workings of a Burlington; home goods and decor; bedding; clothing; accessories; luggage; perfume...virtually everything at discount prices. There is always a sale. There were tons of gift sets all around the front of the store and a huge variety to choose from ranging anywhere from $5 to $30 in makeup, skin care, coffee and chocolates, scarves and jewelry, electronic stocking stuffers, and much more. There were plenty of cashiers available for the lines we're very short if there was a line. Love this place! read more

Perhaps I might be a tougher critic than other Jacksonville Burlington shoppers. Having said that, when I lived in Atlanta ANY day of the week I could go into Burlington and come out with nothing less than 5-6 AMAZING designer suits and matching shoes! The disorganization, lack of styles, and broken jewelry is just too much to consider this worth going to. In some cases it worse than the Dillard's Clearance in Arlington. Seems to me, I need to hold my shopping sprees for when I go to Tampa, Orlando, and Atlanta where there is a greater fashion sense than whoever picks the stock in Jax, Arlington or Orange Park (which is the WORST store) Burlington, you can most definitely do better!! read more
