We wound up coming to this location so my mom could get my kiddo a toy (that's what grandma's do). Parking can be problematic here, but luckily we were able to score a spot relatively close. We headed in, and while I wasn't in the market for anything, after browsing up and down aisles, something spoke to me. There was a one day only 40% off sale on holiday pajamas/sweats, so I wound up getting a Grinch sweatshirt for myself. Unfortunately they were already sold out of my kiddo's size. We headed to the toy aisle where my kiddo picked something out from Grammy, and then we headed to the Christmas section. They still didn't have all of their Christmas items out YET, but you could tell they were in the process of stocking the shelves. All in all check out was easy. read more

Just another target location! This one was actually a bit dirtier than the one by my house. But it is an ok location. Starbucks inside, dirty bathrooms, and some dirty isles, and some things thrown on the ground. Lots of parking. Good variety of items. We came today, a Monday around 4:45 pm. Lines were long, even the self-checkout ones. Value is usually good, depending on what you are looking for. I didn't interact with any of the staff today! I placed a mobile order and when I arrived it wasn't ready, which was totally fine, but the staff refused to let me grab it off the shelf or offer any guidance. Instead, they just said, "I don't really know what to say, just try and cancel the order." After figuring out how to cancel it myself, I went to check out but the discount still wouldn't apply. Even after entering my Target number multiple times as suggested, it didn't work. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, as the staff was extremely unhelpful throughout. read more

Honestly, I try not to come to this Target. They have everything that you typically need, but it's a very busy location within the St. John town center and it can be a struggle to get in and out of the area as well as to find good parking. I am reviewing mostly based on a recent experience. I typically like to place my orders ahead of time for pick-up, however when I did this earlier in the week, I arrived at the store just to be told that their pick up system was down. I was confused as to why I got the email stating my order was ready, even though I was unable to pick it up. You would think that the cashier could just manually check me out since they already picked the items for the order and had it sitting in the back... but for some reason they were unable to give me the items ordered. I was asked to come back the next day, or I had the option to cancel the order and pick out everything again myself from around the store. I guess not a big deal, but I was just annoyed with having used the time and gas to get there and coming home with nothing! It was so many items I opted not to pick them out myself. This is where things take a turn for the better, though. I spoke with a customer service agent named Aden who happily added a $10 discount to my order for the trouble. That was a nice gesture and was appreciated! I came back the next day and although I did have to wait around 15 minutes to pickup the order I received all of my items. Better experiences at other Jacksonville Target stores, but if you need to stop at this one, it will do. Just be ready for a crowd -- especially around the holidays! read more

I gave this two stars because if you don't interact with the stores employees- don't place any orders for pick up around the cut off time and just completely shop by yourself and not ask for help. You will have an okay experience. This store is filled with college students and other people who don't wanna work, but want to be paid. Customer service here does not exist. read more

I just used the target app for the first time today and chose the option to pick up in store or drive by/pick up within 2 hours similar to curb side pick up! I must say it's an easy experience! The app is easy to maneuver and find your items. It'll tell you which target store has your items in stock and you can pick them up from that store in 2 hours via drive by/ curb side pick up! I thought this was genius. If you need to purchase items same day, then this is your route to go! My sister told me about this and how easy the app was to find the items you need, see if they are in stock and available for pick up in store or via drive by/ curbside pick up and then you wait 2 hours and go pick them up. I decided to check it out for myself. My mother and sister guilt tripped me when I told them I wasn't able to purchase any fillable Easter eggs or any Easter egg baskets. I felt bad because I have a small toddler. I got online to see if they fillable and predicable Easter eggs and I am surprised to says they do! They have a ton of Easter supplies! I bought some fillable and already filled Easter eggs along with candy for my son and husband as a surprise! I have enclosed pictures of the app. Don't be frighted it takes less than like 5-10 min to download the app. Make an account with target and start shopping. Afterwards you can drive over to the store and pick it up. I even sprayed all the items with Lysol before I put them in my back truck as an extra precaution to make sure no viral germs got on my grocery items. I even wiped all items down when I got home with a Lysol wipe one by one as a secondary precaution. Good luck and be safe! read more

I mean everyone loves Target LOL, this Target is located in St. Johns Town Center and they have a pretty good parking spots. This is not your Super Target, this is just your normal Target but this target is one of my go to Target. This location is pretty clean and they have thing actually organized. Went here for their 20% off deal for Women's wear (gotta love it) they have variety of dresses to choose from. This Target I think is somewhat new since they have the Ulta inside as well, they also have Starbucks and a Pizza hut hot shelves that you can just grab a hot pizza and do a self pay which I think its pretty cool! As for the staff, they are not the friendliest here and sadly that is just now common on the retail environment but the Target at Roosevelt, their employees are friendly and thankfully that is my go to Target. read more

Hands down the worst Target in Jax. Unfortunately for me, this is the Target in my neighborhood. Going forward, I'll just drive the extra 20 minute round trip to the one on Hodges and Beach. Pick up order nightmares galore. They never have the items I want available. I did a pick up, waited in line 30 minutes, left the store, and did a drive up the next day, and 2 bags worth of items were missing. Incompetence and the Town Center is a pure nightmare. read more

You need to find a way to disable Drive up as an option for the day if you will not be offering the service!!!!! I would have made other arrangements instead of coming in the car with two sleeping toddlers and no stroller expecting drive up to be available since the app allowed me to check in as usual while driving in. I'm not a big fan of this particular Target. The few times I've been here, the employees were not helpful at finding common items. I was passed around from employee to employee until someone was able to help. Not sure if it was actual ignorance of stock/store layout or laziness or both. It's usually so crowded on a Saturday, you wonder if there was a holiday no one told you about. The most efficient way to check out is to use the self-check out lanes if there is one available (and working). The parking lot leaves a lot to be desired considering this is supposedly in an "upscale" area - I guess they weren't taught how to corral their trolleys after use? Hint - if you have a nice car, don't park anywhere near the store. Park as far away as you can. read more

Right in the center of town center. Location ideal only 2 miles from my apartment but after realizing for the third time out four times going the sale items that were marked ( for example 2/$4 ) still came up as regular price. No discount credited. Once shame on me for not realizing, twice shame on them for their false advertising/discount, third time your out. I've always had a 60/40 love for Target but have to tell ya, Walmart holds truth to their prices. Never had a price discrepancy with them and honestly same quality of brand is always and I mean always cheaper. With my new experience at the Marketplace for Walmart my shopping will be mainly done there and Winn Dixie. The Town Center Super Target is one of the biggest stores I've ever seen. If you can't find what you're looking for in this store it's probably not made. They have everything from food to toiletries to toys to cards and even home and garden items. I was looking for a 50th birthday card and a gift bag. There were five different choices in the 50th card. Anything from funny to thoughtful. I picked the funny card. The gift bag selection was a little skimpy, but I found one that worked. If you don't like crowds I suggest coming to this store during the week and avoiding the weekend. Although I didn't have to wait in line as I did the self checkout right away. It's the traffic and congestion outside the store that bothers me. read more

Have you ever been to a place so often that it just becomes your "usual"? Somewhere you go to kill a few hours or indulge in a little retail therapy or run your errands because they have everything you need. This Target is exactly that for me. The store is clean and bright. They always have what I'm looking for with a staff that goes out of their way to be helpful. In-store wifi let's you easily use their money saving Cartwheel app while you wander the aisle with an iced coffee you got from their own Starbucks. If Target allowed you to drink and shop like Lucky's then I'd never go anywhere else ever again. I wish their fresh produce was better and had a larger variety, but that's a minor concern when the rest of the place is consistently solid. This is my favorite Target, hands down. read more

The location is a solid 5 star but some of the staff members made my interaction a hard 3.5, but I love Target so I averaged that out to a 4 LOL. I came to stock up on some common household items and couldn't find the one, was headed in the wrong direction, to be corrected by an employee who was a little less than pleasant. Listen, we all have an "off" day so I wasn't bothered by it. But next, my cashier wasn't very happy or smiley either. It's Target people! It's like adult DisneyLand, at least to me. I love Target! I excused the first time to the individual, as I was shopping in target with my mom and daughter and upon checking out my mom held her hand out to receive the bag the cashier just packed and the young lady decided to ignore my mother's hand and place the down on the counter. Smh. I wrote the second time off as my daughter and I was in the electronic department looking for a cell phone case when the security guard posing as a shopper stared our way. Ever try to undress a mannequin at a department store? I officially have! Super Bowl Sunday and I abandoned the naptime game to go walk at Town Center and found that Target was open! Woot Woot- I didn't intend on really getting anything- cough cough- but quickly found some clearance tagged clothing calling my name! One shirt reminded me of my favorite shirt from my teenage years- a lifetime ago! And it was on clearance! And the one on the rack was a 4x. Now, I am a big woman, but I am not that big- but the one on the dummy was my size. The untucking began- then gently trying to move the arms, which only budged an inch. I pulled the shirt up- nothin. I pulled the shirt left, then right- not enough to remove it. I sighed, stepped onto the platform and tried all three again. Stepped down and sighed again. There were no employees in sight- because it's the last hour of business on a night I am sure that was scheduled as a skeleton crew (I have worked retail- I know how it is). I resign to abandon the top and continue shopping. $85 later I did joke at checkout with the cashier about my impossible attempt to disrobe a display and she laughed and warned that they need to be disassembled to dress and undress them. Yup- kinda figured that out! She did offer to find help since they weren't closed yet, but I told her I will just have to come back! Happy Shopping and don't accost the mannequins. read more

A great Target that's clean and organized. Friendly, helpful employees. Definitely a step up from Walmart. I never mind paying a bit more at Target (vs Walmart) because the shopping experience is better. Well, at most Target stores, that is... it can't be said for all of them; but, I can say it's definitely better at this one. It's located at The Town Centre, so parking can sometimes be a problem. You'll always find a space, it just may not be very close to the front doors. It's location also makes it one of the more crowded Target stores in Jacksonville, but the lines are never too long and they move along quickly. However, even at it's busiest, it's still better than a Walmart any day! read more

I decided to search the Target website for a tempered glass screen protector for my daughter's iPhone 8. Found what I needed at a good price. Paid for it and decided on the pick up option. The order was placed at 2:30pm and the order status said available for pick up within 2 hours. We arrived at approx. 6:30pm - went inside to the customer service / pick up counter. To my surprise, the order was cancelled by Target because the item was not available. When I placed the order, it showed available?!? When I paid for the item, it confirmed available for pick up within next 2 hours?!? Anyway, the young lady that helped me found a replacement item - had it brought up the the counter for purchase. Sadly, this should have taken 5-10 minutes and ended up taking a good 30 minutes. Also my good price ended up being much more. A huge flaw with the system Target. read more

This is a bit far for me to travel from the North side but never disappointed. I'm in this store looking for a kids drum set and MockingJay Part 2 and of course empty shelves everywhere. I was ready to leave and asked a sale associate, if I could order it and pick it up tomorrow. Ashley, sale associate was excellent she went to scan the item and notice someone threw a copy behind the display. That's customer service . Plenty of parking and there ia a Starbucks inside. This is arguably the worst Target I've ever been to. Such a disappointment every time I've gone. Staff is not helpful, and would rather talk to each other instead of helping customers. The customer service staff (a man, I didn't catch his name) was SO rude and told me to get in the end of the line because he didn't want to listen to my "story" of a simple return when I had already started being assisted by someone else that had to leave. Staff also has meetings in departments surrounded by customers, which I find so incredibly rude, distasteful, and unprofessional. When have you ever seen that before??? Never! Very poor customer service. I was next in line at the self checkout here for the next open register. I just had a few items and usually go to a cashier however they were all full with people who had many items. For whatever reason the guy watching over the self checkout called me over. I thought it'd be to point out a open register I didn't see. No it wasn't it was to point out another area of self checkout with another line so I left items on a counter after speaking to him and left the store. Not going back to this location. It makes no sense to ask someone whose literally next in line and have to wait maybe 2 to 5 minutes to go into another line and wait even longer. 0 out of 5 for customer service. read more

Had a great visit today. At check out my cashier was eager to resolve a gift card issue I thought we had. Come to find out all gift card deals now total at the end of the transaction. I had a horrible experience with Target on line. I ordered a gift for my nephew in Boyton Beach and 1 month later it never arrived. I called customer service and they said that my gift was lost in the way and asked me if I want to cancel the order and said No, that I needed that gift to be sent, the representative in the phone said: "because we made a mistake we will refund your money and will send the gift for your nephew anyways" and I say: "are your sure? they said: "yes". One week and a half later I called customer service again and other representative said that because my order was canceled My nephew wont receive my gift! Horrible service. They do not know how to organize the mens section. They never restock sizes, nor do they organize it in the right section. I don't know if it's lazy workers, or poor management not checking in on them to make sure things are done. Every time time I go, the mens section is always a wreck. It's never neat or organized.
