The last time I was there, I inquired about the lotion and the employee said she would try to order it for me. I came back today and asked the Cashier about it. She laughed at me and told me they have no way of ordering anything. They only get what corporate sends them. They do have good prices and a lot of options here. I always try to have Ernie with me when I go. I tucked my tail under and sadly left empty handed today. I'll have to look elsewhere. I do feel sorry for the employees-they do seem to be over worked and maybe under paid. But, for the most part they are usually friendly.

If I was the manager I would shut it down for a day, call in all employees, but them lunch and have a deep cleaning day. Stuff is packed up everywhere, they need too eliminate a aisle or two and then maybe they'd be okay. The employees are always nice though, I guess that's a plus. My trips are short and sweet and far in between. Now that they have had their "grand 're-opening" I must say that the store is more spacious. That's definitely a plus. This visit was my first at a Roses in FL. The store was clean and organized. Stock was plentiful. They had exactly what I needed; the $0.50 dish towels. Cotton cloth made in India with random name brands slapped on, but the quality is a crazy deal for the price. Years ago I bought some of the world's finest French linens in St.-Jean-de-Luz France, and lol, these do not compare to those, BUT the daily use linens they also sold (what Williams-Sonoma would sh!t themselves for) are comparable to these dish towels, but cost WAYYYY more! I bought a set of 10 in each color of the white with single color. They even look Provincale! Snipped off the dish towel hang loop, washed in hot water to shrink (and thicken), and voila! My new napkins! The ladies here were so sweet and I even got a discount! Love this store!

This modern and clean shopping center was my destination this morning as I was headed to ALDI to…read morepick up some snacks for the drive. ALDI is always good for inexpensive snacks! The shopping center also has an Ashley Furniture Outlook (which features Tempur-pedic mattresses), Mattress Firm, Panera Bread, Moe's Southwestern Grill and more. Easy in, easy out. It's clear that they've had to dig up and resurface the parking lot at least once but it was smooth enough for me today.
